Chapter 87 Quinn's Illness

Quinn was furious and shouted at Rhett, "You are an unfilial son!"
Rhett knelt with a thud, tears streaming down his face, and cried, "Quinn, I didn't mean it. I just wanted to scare Alexander!"
"Scare him?" Quinn sneered, "Do you think I'm clueless? Do you take me for a fool?"
Quinn kicked Rhett in the chest and angrily exclaimed, "How could I have such a heartless and unfilial son? He's your brother, and you wanted to harm him. The act of drugging Samantha is despicable and cowardly. How could you come up with such a disgusting plane? What you did was really bad!"
Rhett looked at his father in shock. How could he know about all these things?
"Dad, please..." Rhett crawled over, weeping, "Dad, it's not true. I didn't do anything to Samantha. Please don't be angry!"
"Get lost!" Quinn kicked him away, "Don't call me Dad. I don't have a son like you!"
"Dad!" Rhett rushed forward, clinging to Quinn's leg, and wailed, "Dad! I'm your son; please don't disown me!"
Quinn's heart ached and shouted, "You are heartless and disloyal! We, the Sinclair family, don't have descendants like you!"
"Quinn, please!" Rhett cried, wishing that the earlier events had never happened.
Alexander approached Quinn and tried to console him, "Quinn, don't get angry. It's not good for your health. I'm sure Rhett didn't mean it. He must have been influenced or misguided to do such a foolish thing."
"Alexander, you don't need to plead for him!" Quinn exclaimed, "I saw everything clearly. I heard what he said. He had planned it all; he had been thinking of how to take over the company!"
"Quinn, what did you see? What did you hear?" Rhett asked in astonishment, "Quinn, where did you see it?"

Quinn, filled with anger and sorrow, exclaimed, "Despite being older than Alexander, have you forgotten everything I taught you since childhood? Shouldn't you and Alexander be respectful and considerate of each other? Do you want Alexander dead? Do you want me to hand over all our family assets to you? If you can be so cruel to your brother, imagine how you might treat me in the future!"
Quinn said angrily and sorrowfully, "I can't deal with you here. When we get back to the country, I'll take care of you!"
After he finished speaking, he turned to Alexander. At this moment, Alexander looked somewhat messy, covered in dirt, with a footprint on his chest and his face scraped from being pressed against the ground.
Quinn felt a twinge of pain in his heart, patted his shoulder, and said, "Alexander, you've been wronged."
Quinn then looked at Lillian, who was also in a sorry state, her eyes filled with fear, and comforted her, "Lillian, don't be afraid; it's all over."
Lillian nodded and said softly, "Quinn, don't be angry either."
Quinn gazed at Rhett with a mixture of disappointment and seriousness, his hand resting on his chest. He then addressed Rhett, saying, "You desire all that I possess, don't you? Well, I want to make it clear that moving forward, you won't receive any financial support from me."
"Quinn, please!" Rhett shouted, "Although you don't care about me, what about your grandson? Quinn, I beg you, give me another chance!"
"You still have the nerve to mention the child?" Quinn scolded, "He shouldn't have a father like you!"
Quinn's face suddenly changed, and he clutched his chest in pain.
"Quinn!" Alexander quickly stepped forward and supported Quinn, who was about to collapse.
"Quinn, do you have your medication with you?" Quinn had a heart condition, and getting so angry could easily trigger an episode.
Alexander found his medication and gave it to him. Quinn let out a sigh and said to Alexander, "Take me back."
"Quinn, you shouldn't move right now. Let's take a break, and I'll take you back," Alexander said in his ear.
Rhett knelt there, anxious and worried, and kept saying, "Quinn, are you okay?"
Quinn didn't want to look at him, so he closed his eyes and said to Alexander, "Take me back first."
The group drove back to their residence in a grand procession. Rhett's plan had just been set in motion, only to come to a complete halt.
Alexander took Quinn directly to a private hospital. Samantha and Eliana rushed over when they heard the news. Quinn was furious when he saw Eliana, wanting to scold her, but he couldn't make a sound. The doctor quickly asked Eliana and the others to leave.
"It's you!" Rhett said and suddenly pounced on Alexander like an angry lion, "It's you! You pretended to be weak on purpose, made me let my guard down, and then I said everything, didn't you?"
Alexander dodged his attack and calmly said, "Rhett, if you don't want others to know, don't do it in the first place."
"Alexander, you're so vicious!" Rhett now wished he could cut off his own tongue, hating the arrogant look he had just shown in front of Alexander.
"You're even more vicious! Today, you can kill me; tomorrow, you can kill your father!" Alexander said coldly.
Samantha's heart tightened. "What? Does Rhett want to kill you? What's going on?"
"Mom, I'll tell you when we get back," Alexander reassured Samantha.
Samantha, however, became frantic and scolded Eliana, "Look at the son you raised! He's just like you, a heartless person!"
As soon as Eliana arrived, she knew that the plan had been exposed and pretended to stand calmly on the side. Now being scolded by Samantha, she could only swallow her anger and say, "Samantha, things haven't been sorted out yet, so don't get worked up. Quinn is still inside. Do you want him to hear and make his condition worse?"
Samantha smiled, "Okay, I won't argue with you now. Everything will be judged when we get back."
No one said anything more. Lillian stood quietly by the window, watching the rain outside. She was lost in thought, and suddenly, it seemed as if she understood everything.
She looked at Alexander, her eyes full of confusion, questioning, and a hint of ridicule. So, people can be hypocritical to this extent.
Alexander felt her gaze and looked back. He walked over and asked softly, "Were you scared tonight? Let me have someone take you back first."
"No, thanks. It's not good for me to leave first. Your mom will scold me." Lillian turned her head and didn't look at him again.
Alexander looked at her for a moment, sensing her unhappiness and distance, but he didn't care. He stood a little further away from her.
The doctor came out of the office, and everyone surrounded him.
"Quinn was angry, but it's nothing serious. He was given a shot, so you don't need to worry," the doctor said. "One person can stay to take care of him, and the rest can go back and rest."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Samantha stayed to take care of Quinn, and Eliana and her son left the hospital and went back to the villa.
