Chapter 112 Catching the Mistress
As an intern, Lily was super pumped to see this kind of scene for the first time and went right up to Sophie, asking, "Ma'am, who are you looking for?"
Coralie yanked Lily back, clearly annoyed. 'No matter who gets caught, the company will take a hit, and Lily just doesn't get the bigger picture.'
Diana peeked through the door crack and thought Lily did a great job.

Sophie yelled to everyone, "Where's the key? Open the door for me!"
Nia, standing nearby, answered honestly, "That's the general manager's office; none of us have the key."
Coralie had been calling security downstairs but got no response, feeling super anxious.
It wasn't until Diana sent her a message that she calmed down.
Diana: [Coralie, it's not me.]
Even though it was brief, Coralie somehow trusted Diana. 'If Diana isn't the mistress, then could it be the other manager, Clara?'
"What's going on? Why is the company in such chaos?" Clara had just arrived at work, looking sharp in a black pencil skirt and a white blouse with a scarf tied at the collar.
Clara held a coffee in one hand and her coat in the other.
As she walked in and saw the chaotic office, she asked aloud.
Axel, seeing her arrive, explained, "This person is here to catch a mistress, and it seems Ms. Spencer..."
Clara chuckled, clearly not getting how serious the situation was. "What? That's hilarious; I need to record this and post it online."
But the next second, Sophie's gaze fell on Clara, filled with rage.
"Clara! You bitch!" She shouted as she lunged forward.
Clara didn't have time to react and was knocked to the ground, the next second feeling a heavy slap on her face.
Sophie didn't hold back, and after five or six slaps, Clara's face was red and swollen.
"What are you doing? Let go of me!" Clara struggled desperately, but Sophie sat on her waist, pinning her down, making it impossible for her to fight back.
"What am I doing? I'll beat you to death, you bitch! How dare you be one but not admit it? My husband spends money on your livestream every day; are you happy? I'll kill you, bitch!" Sophie's voice was filled with rage but was clear enough for everyone to hear.
The live stream was blowing up; no one saw it coming that the mistress would be the recently popular Clara.
Diana finally cracked open her office door, poking her head out, startling Lily who was standing nearby. "Ms. Spencer!"
Diana nodded, but her eyes were glued to the drama unfolding before her.
Lily whispered, "You scared me, Ms. Spencer. I almost thought it was you. Thank goodness it wasn't."
A teammate pulled Lily aside and shot her a glare, making Lily realize her mistake. She quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Ms. Spencer, I misspoke."
Diana didn't mind, waving her hand, "It's okay, I don't care."
Clara, lying on the ground, couldn't fight back and could only shout, "What are you all standing around for? Pull her off me! Where's security?"
Everyone snapped out of their daze.
Axel and Nia each grabbed one of Sophie's arms, but she was super strong. During the struggle, she punched Axel in the eye, making him cry out in pain.
At this moment, the security downstairs finally arrived.
Seeing the security, Sophie stopped struggling, stood up, and followed them out. As she passed Clara, she turned back and shouted, "Shameless! This is the price for being a mistress."
Diana squinted her eyes, thinking it was quite a show. It seemed Clara was indeed about to become very "famous".
Clara sat on the ground, her cheeks numb with pain. Her makeup was no longer perfect, and her hair was a mess from the struggle.
The scarf around Clara's neck had been untied, revealing her collarbone covered in hickeys.
Everyone was silent, and no one came to help her up.
Clara cursed, "What are you all standing around for? Help me up. Call the cops! Who let this crazy woman in?"
After being scolded, only Axel, with his bruised eye, helped her up.
Someone exclaimed while looking at their phone, catching Clara's attention.
She couldn't help but think, 'These employees are useless. They couldn't help me when I was being beaten, and now that the person is gone, they still have the mood to look at their phones.'
Ignoring the pain on her face, Clara quickly snatched the phone. Her eyes widened in shock at what she saw, and she threw the phone aside, loudly warning everyone, "No one is allowed to call the cops! No one is allowed to leak what happened today!"
After saying that, Clara fled the company in a panic.
Someone picked up the phone, and everyone gathered around to see what had scared Clara away. When they saw it, they all fell silent.
Sophie not only live-streamed the beating of Clara but also directly posted Clara and Griffin's chat records on social media, along with a censored video of them in the hotel room.
However, the important parts were not censored, and Clara's face was clearly visible in the surveillance footage.
No longer crowding around that one phone, everyone took out their own phones and started searching frantically.
The internet was flooded with clips from the live stream and shared chat records.
Some even posted old videos of Griffin giving gifts to Clara in her livestream.
All the evidence was laid out for the netizens, and Clara's social media accounts were flooded with comments, her phone ringing non-stop.
Clara returned to the Williams Villa and locked herself inside the room.
Outside, Nathan and Mia were still unaware of the situation.
They had only seen Clara leave happily and return with her face covered in tears.
