Chapter 172 The Walker Family Grandfather and Grandson

Inside a private room on the third floor of Mirage Nights Club, two guys were chilling on the sofa. One of them was young, with bright red hair and a neck tattoo peeking out.

He checked his watch, looking annoyed. "Grandpa, when's that woman showing up? Do we really have to meet her?"

The old man was nearing eighty, with graying hair and a face full of wrinkles, yet his eyes still shone with sharpness and wisdom.

Seeing his grandson, Dorian Walker, growing impatient, Silas Walker chuckled, "Why the rush, Dorian? You've met the Spencer girl before."

Back when Silas and Diana's grandparents were hustling together, Diana wasn't even born yet. As a founding member of the Spencer Group, Silas had seen Bianca and Diana grow up.

But Diana, always chasing guys, was no match for Bianca. Just then, the door opened, and a graceful figure walked in.

Silas and Dorian turned to look, surprise flashing in their eyes. Diana was in a simple, neat professional outfit. No makeup, but her bright features made her stand out. She had a bit of Bianca's vibe.

"Mr. Silas Walker, long time no see."

Dorian was surprised by her transformation but couldn't help but complain. "Diana, what's the deal? You set this up and kept us waiting!"

Diana glanced at him, then looked away, ignoring him.

Dorian got mad. "What's your problem? Ignoring me?"

It wasn't on purpose; Diana just didn't recognize him. She was here for Silas, not him.

Out of politeness, she asked, "And you are?"

Her eyes met his, making Dorian a bit flustered.

Silas chimed in, "This is my grandson Dorian. You met as kids, remember?"

Diana recalled the info about Silas and remembered Dorian. He'd often used Silas's position to embezzle from the Spencer Group.

"Dorian, long time no see. But I didn't set this up with you, so zip it." She smiled, but her words were sharp.

"You!" Dorian stood up, fuming.

Robert stepped in front of Diana, his tone cold. "Mr. Dorian Walker, mind your behavior."

Silas, trying to ease the tension, said, "No need for hot tempers. Diana, have a seat. Dorian, sit next to me."

Dorian, still angry, sat down next to Silas with a sullen face.

Diana raised an eyebrow, surprised that someone as cunning as Silas had such an expressive grandson.

"Mr. Silas Walker, I'm not here to beat around the bush. I want the 15% of Spencer Group shares you have."

Silas and Dorian's expressions changed.

Dorian snapped, "My grandpa's a key figure in the Spencer Group! Even if your mom were alive, she'd respect him. Who do you think you are?"

Diana's face stayed calm, not fazed by his words. "I'm not asking for a handout. I'm willing to buy them back."

Silas's eyes narrowed. "Diana, I've watched you grow up. Now that the company's thriving, you want to push me out? You can't just burn bridges like that."

He took a slow sip of water, thinking young Diana was too green to take him on. With the Spencer Group teaming up with the Percy Group, he could make a killing off those shares without lifting a finger. And if Diana got married, wouldn't the Spencer Group still be his?

Diana smirked. Burn bridges? Anyone who didn't know better might actually think Silas had truly contributed significantly to the Spencer Group.

"Silas, are you trying to school me?" Her tone shifted, dropping the "Mr. Silas Walker."

"Diana, watch your tone!" Dorian snapped.

"My tone? This is my tone! I showed you respect earlier. How dare you lecture me!"

Diana's patience wore thin, and she didn't bother pretending to be polite.

Silas hadn't expected the once timid Diana to be so fierce.

He tried to pull rank. "Diana! Is this how you ask for a favor? If your parents didn't teach you manners, I will!"

"When did I say I was asking?" Diana raised an eyebrow and nodded to Robert. "Robert, give them the documents."

Robert pulled out two documents from the bag. "Gentlemen, take a good look."

Silas and Dorian, confused but curious, took the documents with sour expressions.

Diana waited as they read, sipping her juice. The room was silent except for the rustling of pages.

She leaned back, watching them with a casual air.

At first, they looked annoyed, but as they read, panic set in.

"Finished reading?" Diana's tone was light but chilling.

"My mom's been gone for years, and you two have been living it up, letting the Spencer Group lose billions. Silas, is this what you call being a key figure?"

Silas and Dorian exchanged worried glances, unsure where Diana got this evidence.

Diana smiled. "I've been through a lot and wasn't interested in the company, thinking you experienced folks had it covered. But Silas, seeing how much you've driven the company into the ground, I had to reclaim the shares. It's the least I can do to give my late grandparents and mom some peace. Don't you agree?"

The documents detailed Silas's shady dealings and personnel changes over the years, involving huge sums of money.

Silas closed the document, his face dark. "You little girl, what do you know? These are all..."

"Silas, I'm not here for jokes. You've been leeching off my family's business for too long. Not asking for compensation is already generous." Diana cut him off. "So, sign the share transfer contract."
