In the crowd, someone whistled and teased, "Hey Mr. Bailey, got yourself a new type? Who's this? Some minor celeb or an internet star?"

"Diana?" A woman in a black short dress exclaimed, "How did you end up like this?"

Diana's gaze followed the sound. It came from a woman with long, curly hair.
Her makeup was on point, her dress was simple, and she looked really youthful and beautiful.
But right now, her expression was unhappy, her face full of disdain, like she had seen something gross.
With just one glance, Diana knew who she was. "Charlotte?"
Charlotte Rose heard her name and immediately snapped back, "Don't try to get close to me."
Charlotte was a friend of Diana's back in school. Her family was just middle class then, and out of friendship, Diana had her grandparents help the Rose family.
