Chapter 545 Revenge

With Charles's words, Nolan didn't hesitate anymore and said straight up,

"Mr. Zachary Percy has been secretly buying up scattered shares, and there was a financial discrepancy earlier. Now it's clear he was moving assets on the sly."

"If it weren't for me, this discrepancy would still be unresolved."

Dean spoke casually. Nolan didn't want to tell him, but Dean found out everything anyway.

Zachary's actions weren't surprising, so after Nolan finished talking, neither of them were shocked.

"Cut off his access to the company. Let him stew at home for a while."

Charles said, there were still a lot of things to handle, and Zachary's issue had to be put on the back burner.

Keeping Zachary out of the company would make him restless and reveal more evidence, making it easier to nail him later.

Nolan nodded, jotted it down, handed over the documents, and left.

Dean stayed on the couch.

Now that Charles was back at the company, Diana could leave.

But the two were deep in their business discussion, showing no signs of stopping.

Dean didn't want to interrupt, so he sent Diana a text.

"When are you leaving? He can work now."

"Don't tell me you don't want to leave?"

After sending these texts, Dean turned off his phone, pursed his lips, and raised his voice,

"I'm heading out, you guys keep at it."

Neither of them looked up, ignoring his exit.

Dean slammed the door shut to vent his frustration.

---

At Percy Manor, Zachary's door hadn't been opened for three days.

Elise had tried to get him to come out, but all she heard was the sound of glass shattering—Zachary was venting his anger by breaking things.

The servants wanted to go in and clean up but were chased out, so they just left food at the door every day.

Inside Zachary's room, the windows were tightly shut.

The floor was a mess, with glass shards hidden in the carpet and dried blood stains.

Zachary's left hand was wrapped in bandages, and he had dark circles under his eyes. He hadn't slept well for days.

Whenever he closed his eyes, he saw Diana and Charles's faces. He was growing to hate them.

But now, he wasn't even allowed into the company. They were investigating him...

Zachary stared intently at his computer screen, the cold light reflecting on his sinister face. He kept looking at the photos sent by his informants in the company.

The photos showed Diana and Charles smiling together at the company; attending meetings together...

Various photos indicated that they had joined forces to take control of the company, while he had become a stray dog.

He didn't know how much Charles had uncovered about his actions. He felt like a criminal awaiting punishment, filled with fear, tension, and hatred.

The scene of his public humiliation was still fresh in his mind. Zachary turned off the computer and picked up a medical report from the desk, which he had bought at a high price from the hospital.

The report showed Charles's brain CT scan. The doctor initially diagnosed retrograde amnesia, but recent scans showed the damaged area was healing.

This meant Charles hadn't come to the company because of amnesia. And now, he didn't even have the chance to confront him face-to-face.

"Diana."

Zachary gritted his teeth and muttered the name,

"It's all because of you."

If it weren't for Diana, Charles would have died in the explosion, and Percy Group would naturally fall into his hands.

But now, not only had his plan failed, he had to watch the amnesiac Charles and Diana being inseparable. It was utterly absurd!

"No time left."

He muttered to himself, a fierce glint in his eyes. He had to make one last effort before Charles fully recovered.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Zachary's body trembled, and he cursed angrily,

"I told you not to bother me! Get lost!"

The knocking paused, and Elise's displeased voice came through,

"How long are you going to stay in there? Is my son really such a cowardly waste?"

She continued knocking.

Zachary could vent his anger on the servants, but this was his mother. He had no choice but to get up and open the door.

He was about to complain when he saw Elise's red-rimmed eyes, as if she was about to cry. His anger was forcibly suppressed.

"Mom, I just want to be alone for a while."

"I know everything about the company. You can't hide it. I can't watch you flounder like a headless chicken. Come out, we need to talk."

Elise adjusted her hair, her expression serious.

She saw her son's dark circles and injured hand, but the most important thing now was to deal with the Charles problem.

Zachary wanted to say something, but seeing his mother's determined back, he quickly followed.

They entered the study, and the butler brought tea, but Zachary had no interest in drinking.

Elise sat in the chair, slowly picked up the teacup,

"What are you planning to do now?"

"I don't know, but I can't let him return to the company. He doesn't remember much now, but he'll soon recall everything."

Zachary lowered his head, his fists clenched tightly.

Elise sighed,

"It's not your fault you can't beat him. You've been abroad for too long. I don't have the qualifications to manage Percy Group, so I couldn't pave the way for you. That's my fault."

She put down the teacup and pulled out a document from beside her.

"But I can help you one more time."

She handed the document to Zachary. He took it slowly, and the photos on it made his eyes widen in shock,

"What's this?"

"Charles's child."

Elise sat back in her chair, this was the information she had gathered about Benjamin's identity.

Even without a DNA test, she could guess his identity.

"Five years ago, Diana fell into the sea and everyone thought she was dead, but she came back. She brought this child with her. Because of a misunderstanding, Charles thought this was your son. He used his own child as leverage against us. Isn't that ridiculous?"

"Mom, are you sure?"

Zachary's hand trembled as he held the document. He had a son abroad, living with his waitress mother.

But Benjamin in the document only bore a slight resemblance to him, while he looked more like Charles. He couldn't believe that such an opportunity had fallen into his lap.

"What's certain is that he's not your son. And Diana and Charles both adore him. Look at his eyes, don't they resemble Diana's?"

Elise pointed at the photo. Although it was a candid shot, the features were clear, and her reminder made Zachary see the resemblance to Diana.

"Really! They actually have a child? No way, if this child is acknowledged, the Percy family will be his. No way, no way! I need to bring him back now."
