Chapter 170 Get Out

Clara had been trying to keep it together, but when she heard those words, she completely lost it.

That night, she was the one who drugged him, so she should be the one pregnant with Charles's baby.

It was all Diana's fault, that shameless woman who came out of nowhere and messed up her plans!

Clara gritted her teeth, glaring at Diana. Diana looked radiant, her eyes sparkling, and she was stunningly beautiful.

Meanwhile, Clara was exhausted from dealing with the Spencer Group and the police. She was dressed plainly, her face haggard, and dark circles under her eyes made her look even more worn out.

"So, you're here to show off, huh? You only know how to use dirty tricks to stay close to Charles. Disgusting!" Clara shouted, her voice full of resentment.

"Show off? Please. Clara, I'm here today specifically to ask you..." Diana's voice trailed off, a mocking smile on her lips as she continued, "to get out of my company!"

Clara's face went pale. How could this be? Did Diana ask Charles to kick her out of the company?

"No way! How dare you kick me out? I'm with the Percy Group." Clara protested unwillingly.

Diana did have shares, but only 30%. Charles was the majority shareholder of the Spencer Group.

Thinking of this, Clara felt more confident and continued, "Unless Mr. Percy himself comes to fire me, I won't leave!"

If Diana really called Charles over, she could complain to him in person and expose Diana's true nature!

But the next second, Diana's words shattered her hopes completely.

"Clara, stop scheming. I now own 70% of the company's shares. So, get out!"

Clara's face turned white. She never expected Charles to give all his shares to Diana. "Just because of that child?"

Diana loved seeing Clara suffer. She smirked and added, "Yes, I'm carrying the heir to the Percy Group. Charles is treating me exceptionally well now. We might even remarry. I'll be Mrs. Percy again."

A surge of anger rose within Clara, twisting her features with jealousy. She couldn't control herself and lunged at Diana.

That was when the bodyguards stepped in. One stood in front of Diana, while the other pinned Clara down on the conference table like a criminal.

Clara's face was twisted with rage, her eyes bloodshot, as if she wanted to tear Diana apart.

"Diana, you'll regret this! You can't kick me out. I won't leave the Spencer Group!"

Diana frowned in disgust, "This is my company. Aren't you with the Percy Group? Go back to being a secretary there."

Her words brought Clara back to reality. She couldn't return to the Percy Group. Nathan was still in detention, and if she got kicked out of the Spencer Group, she wouldn't earn a penny.

Thinking of this, Clara's expression changed. Her eyes filled with tears, her voice trembling, "Diana, no matter what, we're half-sisters. Dad helped you manage the company before. Even if he didn't achieve much, he put in the effort. You teamed up with others to send him to prison. And now, you even want to kick me out, your only sister?"

What was this? Instead of using force, she was trying to gain sympathy?

Diana's frown deepened. "Don't forget, I've cut ties with Nathan. I have no father, no sister. Stop pretending with me."

"I can leave the Spencer Group, but can you let Dad go? He's old and can't handle life in prison." Clara's tears fell on the conference table, her eyes red, looking pitiful.

But Diana wasn't a pushover; this tactic didn't work on her. "Clara, you should really get your brain checked. How dare you negotiate with me? None of your family will escape!"

When Bianca was holding up the company alone, Nathan was out having affairs.

Now, even if they cried their hearts out, it wasn't out of remorse, but because they regretted not destroying Diana completely back then.

But in reality, the original Diana had already been killed by them. Who felt sorry for her?

Clara didn't know what was going on. Hearing Diana's words, she suddenly broke free from the bodyguard's grip.

She knelt on the ground so quickly that the people present didn't have time to react.

Robert was so shocked that his glasses went askew. He quickly adjusted them, wondering what Clara was up to.

"Diana! I was wrong. Please forgive me and spare my family."

She cried miserably, but it made Diana happy. "Then tell me, what did you do wrong?"

Clara's sobs paused. Why wasn't Diana responding as expected? Shouldn't she be telling her to get up and stop kneeling? But the situation was off, so Clara complied, "I shouldn't have ruined your relationship with Mr. Percy..."

"That doesn't matter." Diana interrupted Clara. She never cared about Charles, so there was no relationship to ruin.

The next second, Diana grabbed Clara's chin, forcing her to look up. "Your mistake was taking over what wasn't yours and being smug about it."

Diana's tone was icy. She let go of Clara and told the bodyguards, "Throw her out and inform security: no dogs or Clara allowed inside."

As she said this, Diana seemed to think of something, her tone pausing. Then she smiled innocently, "Oops, my bad. Dogs are loyal friends to humans. How could I compare them to you? Inform security that Clara is never allowed in the Spencer Group again."

Clara was dragged out by two bodyguards, struggling desperately, not caring about her image.

"Let go of me! I'm the general manager of the Spencer Group. I'm with Mr. Percy. If you kick me out, you're risking your lives!"

But the bodyguards only listened to Diana, like robots following orders, silently throwing Clara out.

The office staff watched this scene in shock, and soon, the place was abuzz with chatter.

Especially Clara's team, which was in complete chaos.

Nia approached Axel, his voice panicked, "Axel, what's going on? Why was Ms. Williams taken away?"

Axel was sweating bullets, biting his fingers impatiently.

"Who do you think I should ask? It must be that Diana. Who else would have her bodyguards take Ms. Williams away?"

More people gathered around Axel. Although he was just in the PR department, he was closest to Clara.

Now that something had happened, everyone thought he might know something.

"Axel, what's going on? How come Ms. Spencer returns and Ms. Williams gets kicked out?"

"Axel, say something!"

"Yeah, Axel, don't keep us in the dark. We're all in this together."

The crowd's chatter gave Axel a headache. He suddenly slammed the table and stood up, "Enough! Stop it!"
