Chapter 118 Inspection
Charles saw through her intentions immediately and, with just one hand, pinned both of Diana's hands behind her back.
Diana kicked and struggled, but he shoved her down onto the back seat.
The back seat wasn't roomy, especially with Charles in there. It felt super cramped.
"Let go of me! Charles! What the hell are you doing? You rapist, murderer, I'll fight you to the end!" Diana yelled, while Charles leaned over her.
No matter what Diana said, he stayed silent.
Charles' eyes darkened as he caught a whiff of the disinfectant on her.
"Charles, what do you want? If you have something to say, just say it and stop tormenting me!" Diana struggled for a long time and was exhausted, glaring at Charles.
But the next second, Charles lifted her up, still not letting go of her hands, and started to take off her pants.
Diana screamed, "Let go! You pervert, bastard! I'll kill you!"
She fought like crazy, but her strength was no match for Charles.
Charles was desperate to know if she had an abortion or not. He was going to find out himself.
So, without hesitation, Charles took off Diana's pants.
He saw a small pair of pure white panties covering her private parts.
Diana crossed her legs, trying to stop him.
But her clothes were loose, and almost effortlessly, her panties were pulled down to her knees.
Charles' expression was serious, like he was examining an important document, not a woman's body.
"Charles, if you want sex, go find another woman! Don't bother me! We're divorced, and I'm not in the mood to have sex with you, you pervert!" Diana's eyes were red with humiliation.
She thought she would strip Charles' pants off and parade him through the streets one day.
Diana's words had no effect; Charles' actions didn't stop. He reached out and spread her labia. Due to Diana's emotional fluctuations, her lower body trembled slightly.
It was clean, and there was no redness or swelling, not like someone who had just had an abortion. He was finally relieved.
Then Charles helped Diana pull up her pants, but he lifted her shirt, bunching it up around her waist.
Charles caressed Diana's soft, flat belly and finally spoke, "You're pregnant? Is it my kid?"
Diana was breathing heavily with anger. Who had told him she was pregnant? And why was Charles so certain the kid was his?
But right now, she couldn't let Charles know whose kid it was.
So Diana gritted her teeth and said, "No! Charles, you're really boring, caring about whether your ex-wife is pregnant. Whether I'm pregnant or not has nothing to do with you!"
Charles' eyes darkened, and the hand that was on her belly suddenly grabbed her jaw, his voice cold as ice. "Diana, don't test my patience! You're pregnant, and the kid is mine!"
The familiar pain brought tears to Diana's eyes, but she stubbornly said, "No! It has nothing to do with you!"
"Is it Billy's?" Charles asked.
Diana paused almost imperceptibly, then immediately nodded. "Yes! It's Billy's, I had sex with..."
Charles increased the pressure of his hand, not letting her finish.
His face grew darker, as if he wanted to tear Diana apart.
"Whether it's mine or not, a test will tell." With that, Charles let go of Diana's hand and unlocked the car door.
Realizing Diana was about to run, Charles warned in a low voice, "Billy is right outside. If you don't cooperate, I won't hesitate to break one of his arms."
Diana paused, because Charles was capable of such things.
She didn't want to drag Billy into this mess, so she stopped moving and glared at Charles with pure hatred.
Billy, seeing Charles come out, got all riled up. He bit one of the men in black, and when the guy let go in pain, Billy shouted, "Don't touch her! Come at me if you have a problem!"
Charles walked around to the other side of the car and yanked Diana out.
"Charles, are you even a man? Don't touch her!" Billy yelled.
"Billy, I'm fine! Take care of yourself," Diana said, feeling bad seeing Billy being restrained.
Charles found the sight of Diana and Billy's deep affection particularly annoying. He tightened his grip, causing Diana to stumble.
Luckily, Charles reacted quickly and caught her, preventing her from falling.
Billy's eyes turned red with anger at his actions.
"Take Mr. Billy Richardson home and tell Mr. Vance Richardson what a good job he's done," Charles ordered coldly, ignoring Billy's struggles, and shoved Diana into the car in front of him.
The original Maybach had a damaged front, so Charles randomly picked another car from his subordinates.
Seeing Charles about to leave, Nolan quickly followed. "Mr. Percy, where are we going?"
"The hospital, obstetrics and gynecology," Charles said.
Nolan swallowed hard, not expecting things to escalate to this point, but he said nothing more and focused on driving.
Charles, afraid Diana might cause more trouble, held onto one of her hands the entire time.
Diana, unable to struggle, gave up and started thinking about how to lie when the test results came out.
From Charles' expression, it seemed he had expectations for this kid; otherwise, he wouldn't have gone to such lengths to bring her here.
But Diana had no intention of having this kid.
No matter how conflicted she felt, she couldn't stop the test results.
The doctor adjusted his glasses and explained Diana's condition to Charles, "She's six weeks pregnant, but the fetus is unstable. Has she had any signs of miscarriage before? Is she taking folic acid or anything like that?"
Diana remained silent, pretending not to hear the doctor's words.
Charles leaned close to her ear and whispered menacingly, "If you don't tell the truth, you should know the consequence."
"Yes, half a month ago. Not taking anything," Diana answered truthfully, her voice hard.
Charles calculated the time. Half a month ago was when Diana had been drinking. It turned out she wasn't faking it; she couldn't drink because she was pregnant.
Charles' heart skipped a beat. He had almost killed his own kid.
"You young people need to be careful. If you want to keep the baby, you need to take good care of it. I'll prescribe some medication; take it on time!" The doctor wrote a prescription, and Nolan, standing nearby, took it.
The three of them left the doctor's office, and Charles grabbed Diana's hand, asking in a low voice, "Didn't you say the kid was Billy's? Six weeks, just the day we got divorced."
Diana looked displeased, hating the advanced technology, but stubbornly said, "Yes, everyone's body is different. How do you know I only had sex with you that day?"
Charles gritted his teeth, but since Diana was pregnant and the doctor said the fetus was unstable, he had to hold back. "Diana, don't test my patience."
Diana turned around, her eyes filled with undisguised annoyance. "Charles, we're already divorced. So what if the kid is yours? Since you hate me, there's no need for this kid to be born. I'll schedule an abortion and won't trouble you."
"Diana, are you trying to get back together with me?"
Charles' words really ticked Diana off.
"Get back together with you? Charles, do you think I'm crazy? Have you forgotten what you said before?"
Diana stepped closer, throwing Charles' own words back at him. "My kid will never come from your womb. Even if it's born, I'll strangle it with my own hands!"
Charles stayed quiet, and Diana let out a mocking laugh. "What's wrong, Mr. Percy? Forgotten already? Or are you just itching to feel the thrill of killing?"
