Chapter 219 Car Accident

A loud crash echoed, and the car on the right got hit so hard it flipped over and skidded a good few dozen feet away.

The car on the left seemed to catch on to their plan and quickly blocked Diana's car.

Diana was ready to ram into them, but Jett hesitated for a split second.

The car came to a halt, and the one behind them slammed into them again.

Diana clutched her chest. Luckily, the car was built tough. After all those hits, she was still in one piece.

Outside, debris was scattered everywhere, and who knew what happened to the folks in the car on the right.

The people from the cars on the left and behind all got out, surrounding them and shouting angrily.

The owners of the two cars were young punks with brightly colored hair, banging on the car windows.

Even though their mouths were moving, it was clear they weren't saying anything nice.

After making sure Diana in the back seat was okay, Jett let out a sigh of relief and said in a deep voice, "These guys look like trouble, Ms. Spencer. I'll handle this. You stay in the car."

With that, he pushed open the car door, his expression turning fierce, and his voice rising a few notches. "What do you want?"

Jett was already broad and muscular, and the two car owners in front of him looked like scared rabbits, their confidence wavering.

But one of them, Caspian, still forced himself to say, "You hit my friend with your car. How could you be so reckless?"

"Yeah! I've already called the cops; don't think you can run!" the other guy, Jake Sherman, chimed in.

They might have been short, but they sure made up for it with their loud voices.

Jett's eyes narrowed, and he glanced at the car not far away, snorting, "Your friend is in the car, his fate unknown, and no one is checking on him?"

The two seemed to be reminded by him, and one immediately went to check on the person in the car.

The airbag had deployed, and the person had closed eyes, blood on their forehead, already unconscious.

Caspian didn't dare to move him, just checked his breathing to confirm he was alive, then angrily returned to Jett.

He said coldly, "My friend is barely clinging to life because of you; you must give an explanation!"

Jett wasn't fazed by his words; any investigation into this traffic accident would show they were at fault.

Even if someone died, he had the Percy family backing him.

If these people insisted on causing trouble, he couldn't stop them.

"Wait for the cops and insurance company to decide. You'll regret your actions today for the rest of your lives."

Jett, with a stern face, was about to return to the car to wait.

But the two reached out to stop him.

"Wait!" Diana, seeing from the car that they were about to fight, quickly got out to stop them.

It wasn't that she feared Jett couldn't win, but the car accident was already a big enough hassle, and adding a fight would waste more time.

Seeing her get out, Jett quickly shook off the two and went to meet her. "Ms. Spencer, please go back. These two are not good people; it would be bad if they hurt you."

As soon as he finished speaking, the two punks quickly approached.

"There's a pretty lady in the car. If you had said so, we could have had a nice chat."

Their lecherous eyes scanned Diana from head to toe, making creepy smacking sounds.

Diana pressed her lips together, suppressing her irritation, and said indifferently, "You deliberately blocked our car and want to cause trouble; How dare you!"

As if they heard the funniest joke ever, the two guys burst out laughing. Then they pointed to their car, "Miss, does your car even cost one percent of ours?"

Both of their cars were well-known luxury brands. Not super rare, but definitely a sign of wealth for most people.

Diana raised an eyebrow; she always traveled low-key, choosing a car with no special features.

Because she was pregnant, the car had been modified for better safety, though it looked plain on the outside.

Was this their reason for blocking her car? Bullying the weak?

The two guys in front of her looked like they were barely in their twenties, acting all cocky and driving luxury cars. They were probably part of Evergreen City's street racing gang.

These rich kids loved racing.

But why were they targeting her in a group?

Diana felt something was off and tried to see beyond their appearances.

When they saw her looking over, their eyes became even more brazen, scanning her body.

Seeing this, Jett frowned and shielded Diana. "Ms. Spencer, please get back in the car, I'll handle this."

Diana shook her head, feeling this accident was no coincidence.

"Why block her? I haven't seen enough," Caspian said angrily.

Jake couldn't hide his desire, "Miss, our cars are very expensive; you can't afford to pay. And I don't mind telling you, I have relatives in the police department. You won't win this case. How about you mess around with us, and we'll forget about the accident."

His tone was so sleazy that even Jett, as a man, clenched his fists, wanting to punch him.

But Diana pushed him aside and walked up to Jake.

She looked innocent, with a frightened expression. "Really? Just mess around with you, and you'll forget about it?"

Diana was already beautiful, and her act of showing weakness made her even more pitiful, arousing sympathy.

Jake was clearly pleased, hooking a strand of Diana's hair around his finger.

This was a flirtatious gesture between men and women.

Jake added, "Of course, just mess around with us, and we'll forget about today."

Diana suppressed her disgust and continued, "What about the person in that car? Will he join us?"

Unexpectedly, her pure appearance contrasted sharply with her words.

The two exchanged glances, getting excited.

But such a beautiful woman, they didn't want to share, so Caspian said, "He's already wrecked, let us two satisfy you."

With that, he reached out to touch Diana's face, wanting to kiss her.

However, Diana smirked, grabbed his wrist, and said coldly, "But I prefer disabled people."

The next second, she kicked Jake in the groin. The intense pain in his most vulnerable area made his face pale, and he doubled over, clutching his crotch and rolling on the ground.

The scene happened so quickly that no one reacted.

When Caspian tried to rush over, Jett quickly grabbed his hand, forcing him to kneel on the ground.

"Bitch!" Jake, rolling on the ground, cursed Diana through his pain.

Diana crossed her arms, her tone light, and kicked him again. "I told you; I like disabled people. Isn't this making you my type?"

She was wearing flat shoes, not very lethal, but her movements were swift and decisive, clearly aiming to incapacitate.

Even Jett was a bit shocked, never again thinking Diana looked weak.

Jake's groans grew weaker until he finally passed out from the pain. Diana clapped her hands and turned to Caspian, who was kneeling on the ground.

He, having witnessed her kicking, was sweating profusely and quickly begged for mercy, "I'm sorry, miss. We were just joking! It wasn't intentional!"
