Chapter 115 Abortion Surgery

But that wasn't the point now. Diana took a couple of steps back and discreetly pressed her phone twice.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Who's pregnant? What do you mean by this?" Diana's tone was firm as she tried to push past the guys, but they wouldn't budge.

At this moment, Diana was alone and completely at a disadvantage.

Clara stepped forward, her tone certain. "Stop lying. You must be pregnant! Why else would you suddenly go to the OB-GYN and always protect your belly?"

She didn't have Diana's pregnancy report, but her gut feeling and multiple tests made her sure Diana was pregnant.

Mia stepped forward with a malicious smile. "It doesn't matter if you don't say it. The doctor will find out soon enough." With that, Mia's face darkened, her voice sharp, "Take her away!"

At the command, the two men grabbed Diana's arms and dragged her out.

Clara and Mia followed closely, determined to see the test results.

Diana knew resisting was useless, so she said, "Let go! I can walk by myself."

"Diana, you better give up resisting and don't try any tricks." Clara stared intently at Diana until she saw her enter the examination room, only then did she feel slightly relieved.

In less than twenty minutes, the doctor came out.

Clara and Mia, anxious, asked, "How is it, doctor? Is she pregnant?"

The doctor nodded and said, "Yes."

Getting the expected answer, Clara and Mia still felt a jolt in their hearts.

Clara thought, 'How could this bitch Diana be so lucky to get pregnant with Charles' kid so easily?'

But Clara quickly felt relieved that she had discovered it early. Soon, Diana's kid would become a stillbirth.

Clara's smile was cruel as she whispered to Mia, "Mom, you keep an eye on her. I'll call Mr. Percy."

Mia nodded and instructed the doctor to perform an abortion on Diana.

Clara, unable to contain her excitement, dialed Nolan's number.

When Nolan answered the phone, he wasn't at the company but enjoying a leisurely time at a coffee shop downstairs.

The company hadn't been very busy lately, and Charles had called Nolan less often, giving him time to slack off.

Clara's call surprised Nolan.

Since Clara was ordered by Charles not to return to the Percy Group, she had disappeared. Today, she called voluntarily, so Nolan thought she must have something to say.

Nolan frowned as he answered the phone. "Hello? What's up?"

"Nolan, it's me. I need to talk to Mr. Percy. It's urgent. Can you hand him the phone?"

"Just tell me what's up. You know how Mr. Percy is," Nolan replied, taking another sip of his coffee.

Nolan figured Clara was just trying to find a way back into the Percy Group, using some excuse to talk to Charles.

But the next thing Clara said made Nolan spit out his coffee.

The other customers, all business types, shot Nolan dirty looks.

Ignoring them, Nolan wiped his mouth with a napkin, eyes wide, but kept his voice low. "What did you just say?"

Clara repeated, "Diana's pregnant and she's getting an abortion at the hospital!"

Nolan was stunned, unable to wrap his head around the news. Diana, who seemed so lively, pregnant? But that wasn't the point now.

Hearing about the abortion, Nolan gripped his phone tightly. "Which hospital?"

Clara quickly gave him the address and urged, "Nolan, you need to tell Mr. Percy! I don't want his kid to be lost, but I can't stop Diana!"

Before Clara finished, Nolan hung up.

He tried calling Charles, but he was in a meeting and didn't pick up.

Nolan gritted his teeth, ditched his coffee, and sprinted to the company, which luckily wasn't far.

When he arrived, panting, Charles had just returned to his office.

Seeing Nolan all sweaty and anxious, Charles raised an eyebrow. Nolan was usually calm and collected, so this was unusual.

Charles put down his documents and asked, "What's going on?"

Nolan swallowed, trying to catch his breath. "Mr. Percy, Ms. Spencer is at the hospital."

Charles frowned. "Why do you care? Unless she's dead, don't bother me with it."

Nolan hesitated but knew he had to spill the beans. "Ms. Spencer is pregnant and getting an abortion at the hospital."

Charles' heart skipped a beat, his tone turning icy. "What did you say?"

Nolan shivered, lowering his head. "Ms. Williams called me, saying Ms. Spencer is pregnant and having an abortion. She tried to stop her but couldn't, so she called to inform you."

Charles clenched his fist and slammed it on the table, making everything on it shake.

The next second, he stood up and barked, "Get the car! We're going to the hospital!"

Soon, a silver-white Maybach was speeding through traffic, heading to the hospital.

Charles sat in the back seat, trying to call Diana.

But as he scrolled through his contacts, he realized he didn't have her number.

They had known each other for so long, even been married, yet he didn't even have her contact info. Their relationship was frighteningly distant.

Nolan, driving, guessed what Charles was thinking and dialed Diana's number, handing the phone to Charles.

Charles gripped the phone, staring intently at the screen.

But shortly after dialing, a cold mechanical voice said, "Sorry, the number you dialed is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Suddenly, the air around Charles felt heavy, his presence overwhelmingly oppressive.

Nolan didn't dare speak, watching as Charles repeatedly called. But no matter how many times he tried, there was no answer.

Charles, barely containing his anger, his hand veins bulging, almost crushed the phone.

In his mind, the news about Diana's pregnancy kept echoing.
