Chapter 100 In Your Heart, What Place Do I Hold?
At the entrance of the Kennedy family mansion, Marcus said respectfully, "Mrs. Howard, please give me your car keys. I'll drive your car back for you. You and Mr. Howard can ride together."
Victoria then handed him the car keys. "Alright, thank you."
In the car, Victoria asked, "How did you know I was at the Kennedy family mansion?"
Victoria squeezed Alexander's long, beautiful fingers, squinting her almond-shaped eyes as she stared at his handsome face in confusion.
She remembered she hadn't told anyone. Suddenly, a thought flashed through her mind, and she leaned closer to him, asking tentatively, "Did you have someone follow me?"
Alexander lowered his eyelids, his eyes filled with tenderness and affection, a smile playing on his lips. "You're so smart. Wouldn't it be a waste not to have a few kids to pass on your genes?"
Victoria frowned.
Alexander's unexpected comment quickly changed the subject.
She clenched her fist and lightly punched his chest, saying irritably, "Hey, I'm asking you a serious question!"
Just as she was about to pull her hand away, Alexander swiftly grabbed her wrist.
She tugged but couldn't free herself. When she looked up, she met his deep, charming eyes, and her heart suddenly skipped a beat.
Then she heard Alexander's low, magnetic voice in her ear, with a hint of coaxing. "I'm serious. Think about it and fulfill my wish, okay?"
This seemed to be the second time he had mentioned children.
They hadn't even had sex yet, and he was already talking about kids. It made her feel a bit awkward, especially since she hadn't thought about it yet.
She remembered that Dylan and Quentin were also in the car, and she really didn't want to discuss this with him now.
She buried her face in his chest and mumbled, "I'll deal with you when we get home!"
Suddenly, Alexander's hearty laughter filled the car.
Dylan and Quentin, in the driver and passenger seats, pretended to be deaf.
They hadn't expected that Alexander wanted to be a father.
That was quite surprising!
Since Alexander and Victoria got married, he had been smiling more often.
After a while, Victoria remembered something and lifted her head from his chest. "I need to tell you something."
Alexander nodded, then looked at her slightly messy hair, reaching out to smooth it and tuck it behind her ear.
Victoria said, "Ignatius needs to stay in Ridgewood for a while."
Alexander's hand paused slightly, and he asked calmly, "So?"
Victoria smiled and said, "You know he can't stay in a hotel by himself."
"And?" Alexander had a bad feelings.
"So, he needs to stay with us for a couple of days," Victoria answered.
Alexander squinted his eyes and refused without thinking. "Impossible!"
How could he allow anyone to disturb his time with Victoria, especially that stubborn Ignatius?
Victoria asked, "Why not?"
Alexander pressed his thin lips together. "You know he's not satisfied with me!"
She laughed and said cheerfully, "Isn't that perfect? He can observe you up close and see how great you are, and then he'll be satisfied."
Alexander looked disdainful and dismissive. "That's not necessary. Do you think I care about his opinion?"
Seeing that negotiation had failed, Victoria decided to try a different approach.
"But he's one of the most important people to me," Victoria said softly, pouting slightly.
Alexander squinted his dangerous eyes at her, unhappily asking, "What about me?"
"You are too," She answered.
"Where do I rank in your heart?" He pressed.
Then, Alexander saw her seriously start to count in front of him.
His eyes grew colder, and his heart chilled. Did she really need to count?
"How many most important people do you have?" he asked again, trying to be patient.
