Chapter 146 Do You Not Love Me Anymore?

The next morning, Victoria took Ignatius to the Starlight Diner.

"Victoria, did you say Sarah's coming?" Ignatius asked.

"Yeah, she'll be here soon," Victoria replied.

Kimberly was with them today since Victoria needed help due to her limited mobility.

Soon, the manager led two people upstairs to a private room.

"Please, come in," the manager said, gesturing.

One woman, wearing a black baseball cap and mask, walked in first.

"Darling, I'm here," she said before revealing her face.

Kimberly was surprised when the woman took off her hat and mask. She was stunning with curly hair, a perfect face, clear eyes, a high nose, and small lips with a tiny mole at the corner of her eye. She looked familiar, like someone Kimberly had seen in photos.

"Ignatius is here too," Sarah said, smiling at Ignatius with dimples showing.

"Sarah," Ignatius greeted.

"Hold on, Ignatius. Let me hug Victoria first. I've missed her so much." Sarah rushed to Victoria and hugged her tightly. "Darling, it's been forever. You're so mean for not letting us visit."

Victoria patted her back. "We chat every day, don't we?"

Sarah pouted, "It's not the same. I can't touch or hug you."

Victoria smiled. "Alright, hug me as much as you want."

Sarah said, "I want to sleep with you tonight. It's been so long."

Kimberly was a bit dumbfounded. Victoria was so doting and gentle with Sarah. Alexander would probably be jealous if he saw this.

Before Victoria could answer, Natalie, who had followed Sarah, said, "We have to head back tonight. Once you're done with this promotional shoot, you'll have time."

Kimberly suddenly remembered who Sarah was. Recently, Sarah's posters were all over Ridgewood. She was a popular star, and Matthew often mentioned her, so Kimberly sometimes noticed her posters. She didn't expect Matthew's idol to be friends with Victoria. Too bad he wasn't here today.

Once Sarah saw Victoria, she couldn't stop talking, and no one else could get a word in.

"Darling, how's your leg? Is it better? Let me see." She had just found out about Victoria's leg injury yesterday and had been worried all night.

Victoria smiled. "There's nothing to see. Even if I show you, would you get it? You're not a doctor."

"You've always been so careful. How did you get hurt?" Sarah asked.

"It was an accident. Don't worry. It's just a sprain." Victoria changed the subject. "What's going on with you and Seraphina lately? Why isn't he with you? I'd feel better if he were by your side."

Sarah looked uneasy. "He has his own things to do. He can't follow me around all the time. Besides, I'm traveling to many cities this time, so I didn't want to drag him along," Sarah said.

Victoria looked at her, sensing something was off. "Wasn't he always by your side before?"

Sarah's eyes shifted. "That was before. Things are different now. We have our own lives."

"Let's not talk about him." She turned to Ignatius. "Why is Ignatius in Rihegde?"

The more Sarah dodged the topic, the more curious Victoria got. Did they have a fight? What did she mean by "their own lives"?

She glanced at Natalie, Sarah's agent, who just shook her head, indicating she didn't know either.

At eleven-thirty, Alexander, Caleb, and Garrett arrived.

Sarah was confused seeing the three men suddenly appear.

"Darling, who are they?" Sarah asked.

Sarah didn't know Alexander and the others, but they were all strikingly handsome, especially Alexander in the middle, dressed in all black, exuding an intimidating aura.

Victoria introduced them one by one but hadn't mentioned her marriage to Sarah.

When she married Alexander, it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. She hadn't expected to fall in love with him, so she hadn't told anyone. A lot had happened in the past month, and she had forgotten to tell her.

So when she introduced Alexander, Sarah was stunned. "Excuse me, darling. Who is he to you?"

Victoria touched her nose, cleared her throat, and said, "You heard right. He's my legal husband."

"When did this happen?" Sarah asked.

"Over a month ago," Victoria replied.

"You actually kept it from me, marrying such a handsome husband. Darling, don't you love me anymore?" Sarah questioned.

Victoria was silent for a moment. "It's not that. Every time I wanted to tell you, you interrupted, and I forgot."

Sarah was silent. Victoria shifting the blame to her was true, so she let it go.

Since Alexander arrived, he noticed Victoria was surrounded by Sarah and Ignatius, and his face didn't look good. Sarah kept calling Victoria "darling," which made him even more unhappy.

Caleb saw through it all and said with a hint of amusement, "Alexander, looks like everyone’s got a thing for Victoria. One's from the Scott family, one's a piano prodigy, and now a star."

The arrival of the three made the atmosphere a bit tense. Garrett and Caleb were fine, speaking humorously, but the tension mainly came from Alexander. Sarah had no intention of giving up her seat, and Ignatius even more so. He sat between Victoria and Alexander, acting as if Alexander didn't exist, ignoring his gloomy face.

Caleb and Garrett admired Ignatius for his courage. Victoria could only give Alexander a comforting smile.

Sarah kept observing Alexander. He was indeed handsome, but always had a cold face. How did Victoria fall for him?

She whispered in Victoria's ear, "Darling, does your husband always have a cold face?"

Victoria replied, "Nope."
