Chapter 104 Alexander Suddenly Needs to Go on a Business Trip

Dylan: "Wow, Mrs. Howard is amazing. Even her aromatherapy products are unique."

Dylan and a few others were boosting Victoria's live stream by sharing it on their phones.

Their help wasn't really needed since the stream already had over 500,000 viewers and counting.

AromaVista's products were themed around the four seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Each season's product used flower-based formulas with top, middle, and base notes.

The packaging was night sky-themed, beautiful and detailed. Many joked that the packaging alone was worth buying because each bottle had a unique caption.

Comments from viewers included:

[Horizon Group's products r always A+.]

[This packaging is perf. I'm in luv.]

[Gotta meet the design team.]

[Nah, I wanna meet the caption ppl; they're lit.]

[Such dedication, srsly impressive. Can't even find these captions online!]

[So thoughtful.]

The live stream was lively and positive.

Seeing everything was fine, Victoria left the stream. Since taking over Horizon Group, she only showed up for negotiations, avoiding other activities.

Lila admired Victoria. Every idea she had was unique and eye-catching.

"You're so smart. The Kennedy family, fooled by Clara, can't see your business genius. It's their loss," Lila praised.

Noticing Lila's frequent visits, Victoria asked, "Got something on your mind?"

"You know me well." Lila sighed, looking troubled. "I'm casting for a new script but can't find the right male lead. The actors I like are all booked."

"Who'd you pick?" Victoria asked, thinking there might be an issue between Lila and Owen, but everything seemed fine.

"Harrington Edwards," Lila replied.

Victoria admired Lila's choice. "He's an award-winning actor. Great pick."

"I think he's perfect for the role, almost like it was made for him," Lila said regretfully. "But his agent rejected it without even looking at the script."

Victoria trusted Lila's judgment. "Maybe there's still a chance?"

Lila dismissed the idea. "No way. His agent is known for being firm. Once they say no, it's final."

Victoria didn't push further.

Lila mentioned Marlowe's birthday was in three days, so they planned to visit him in Jakarda City.

At 3 PM, Alexander called, saying he had to go on a business trip and would be away for a few days. He mentioned someone would pick her up and take her back to Serenity Grove Manor in the afternoon.

She understood, given the size of Vertex Holdings Group and its many subsidiaries.

Still, she felt uneasy. In the month they'd been together, they hadn't been apart for this long.

By 5 PM, AromaVista's sales had surpassed six million orders, and many companies were calling to discuss collaborations.

In just half a day, AromaVista had successfully entered the aromatherapy market, surprising competitors.

"Ms. Kennedy, your father called the secretary's office, demanding to see you," Lenora reported.

Victoria calmly said, "Ignore him. If he keeps calling, just unplug the phone."

Lenora was silent.

"Don't worry, I won't dock your pay," Victoria added.

Though Lenora thought it was a bit harsh, it seemed effective. Otherwise, she couldn't work with the phone ringing constantly.

After leaving, she unplugged the phone as instructed.
