Chapter 415 Able to Bend and Stretch
Ignatius was about to call out, but quickly corrected himself, "Victoria's husband?"
Finally, Victoria was forced to get out of bed.
She quickly freshened up, put on a coat, and went out.
Outside the living room.
Several men were sitting, looking at each other.
"Ignatius?" She rubbed her eyes, thinking she was seeing things.
"Victoria." Ignatius saw her and immediately jumped up from the sofa, visibly happy, and ran towards her, then hugged her.
Victoria hadn't even reacted before he hugged her tightly.
And Alexander, surprisingly, wasn't jealous this time. He sat calmly on the sofa watching.
Maybe it was because Ignatius's earlier comment, "Victoria's husband," pleased him.
Victoria gently patted his back. "Calm down, Ignatius. Let go, you're going to strangle me."
He was hugging too tightly. She had just gotten up, her body was still sore, and she couldn't handle such an enthusiastic embrace.
"Sorry, Victoria. I just missed you," Ignatius said.
Ignatius was a gentle, young, and charming man who knew how to act cute but only to those he was very familiar with.
When Victoria saw his genuine, radiant smile, she immediately felt her mood brighten.
"I missed you too." She reached up to pat his head, and he cooperatively lowered his head slightly as if he knew in advance.
"Why are you here?" she asked.
"I have a performance." He said obediently, "And this morning I saw Thomas and Marigold in the hotel lobby. They told me you were here too, so I came looking for you."
Victoria raised an eyebrow and glanced at the others behind him, especially Thomas, and suddenly asked, "Ignatius, so it was you who knocked on the door earlier?"
Ignatius nodded. "Yes."
Victoria fell silent, her anger from just a moment ago completely gone.
Thomas knew her temperament; she absolutely couldn't be woken up without a good reason, so he didn't knock, just stood by the door. But Ignatius didn't know that.
Victoria looked at Ignatius and gently said, "Next time, knock softly. Don't be so hasty, okay?"
"Okay," Ignatius replied.
"Good boy," Victoria said, looking at him fondly.
Tony Gibson, the assistant who accompanied Ignatius to the Kingdom of Serenia, told Victoria that Ignatius was here to perform for a group of orphans.
It was a grand charity event.
The organizers of this charity event were Anouk and Waverly from the Presidential Palace.
"When is it being held?" Victoria asked.
"In three days," Tony replied.
Victoria thought for a moment, the schedule was really tight.
Anouk's husband's niece had just gotten engaged the day before, and the next day they were hosting a charity event.
On the other side of the sofa, two big shots were looking at each other.
Thomas squinted, his tongue pressing against his cheek, his tone lazy and slightly roguish. "Mr. Howard, this is our first meeting, but there's something I need to say, even if you might not like it."
Alexander calmly said, "Please go ahead."
Thomas said, "To be honest, I don't think you and Vicky are a good match. Your personalities are too similar, both too strong-willed."
Alexander narrowed his eyes slightly, unhurriedly saying, "As long as we believe in our marriage, that's all that matters. Besides, I can show weakness in front of her."
Thomas was about to say a second sentence but was immediately countered. They were well-matched in terms of status and genuinely liked each other. Besides, they were already married. Anything he said seemed pointless.
"Seeing Thomas hesitate, Alexander said, "Thomas, if you have something to say, just say it. We're friends, no need to be formal."
He widened his eyes, completely shocked and deeply unsettled.
Opposite him, Alexander was very calm, replying, "You are Victoria's friend, so naturally, you are my friend too, right?"
Thomas was thrilled. He thought, 'It's incredible that someone as distinguished as Alexander considers me a friend.'
In reality, Alexander mainly wanted to get close to people who had good relationships with Victoria. To him, nothing was more important than her.
It also saved him a lot of unnecessary trouble. He just wanted to focus more on her.
