Chapter 158 Victoria's Identity is Even More Impressive
Dylan and Brian stormed into Underworld Specter with four others, looking for trouble.
"Craig, something's up!" a subordinate yelled.
Craig was trying to sweet-talk Kimberly when he heard the commotion and saw his flustered subordinate rush in.
"What's the panic about?" he snapped.
He couldn't believe how scared his men had become.
"Someone broke in, Craig. They took out all our guards upstairs and are already in the basement hall," the subordinate finally managed to finish his sentence.
Craig's eyes flashed with anger. "Who dares mess with my place?"
Kimberly immediately thought it must be Alexander's crew.
When Craig got to the basement hall, it was a mess.
People were lying everywhere, clutching their stomachs, arms, or thighs in pain, but there wasn't a drop of blood. The way they were hurt was strange.
All the injured were his men.
Craig's face darkened. For the first time, he felt his men were useless. He'd have to train them better.
Dylan and Brian saw Kimberly in the crowd and were relieved she was okay.
Craig glared at the six tall men in black, focusing on Dylan and Brian. "You got a death wish or something? How dare you mess with my guys!"
A familiar female voice came from behind them. "What? You mess with my people, you get what you deserve!"
Dylan and Brian stepped aside, revealing Victoria.
Craig's eyes flashed with anger. "I've been looking for you!"
He didn't care who she was or that she led the O Alliance. He wanted the six billion dollars she took.
But then he felt a chill and noticed Alexander standing behind Victoria.
Alexander was handsome, with deep, intimidating eyes. He exuded authority.
Craig frowned.
But he wasn't backing down. They weren't leaving without returning his money.
Underworld Specter was closed to the public, so only their people and Victoria's group were there.
Victoria's brow arched, her tone calm but arrogant. "The mighty leader of Underworld Specter, chasing a woman over a little money. How petty!"
Craig's face darkened. She called six billion dollars a little money?
And called him petty?
He was furious.
"Do you have the nerve to call six billion dollars a little money? Then why did you take it?" Craig demanded.
Craig's lips tightened, teeth grinding, eyes blazing with rage.
Six billion dollars?
Dylan was stunned. Could that be the money transferred to the company's account?
Alexander stood tall behind Victoria, like an unyielding mountain, her strongest support. He raised an eyebrow, looking at the back of her head with a slight smile.
Victoria then said, "I took it fair and square."
In his 28 years, Craig had never been so infuriated, never seen such shamelessness! She said it so casually, like it was no big deal.
"Fair and square? That's called stealing. Do you think I'm an ATM?" he snapped.
"If I hadn't told you, you still wouldn't know who did it," Victoria replied lazily but with a domineering tone.
"So should I thank you for informing me?" Craig said through gritted teeth, trying to keep his cool.
Victoria's eyes sparkled with a hint of a smile. "If you want to."
Craig fell silent, seething with anger.
"Get her!" he commanded, and his men appeared from all directions.
He had the numbers advantage. She had brought less than ten people.
"This place isn't somewhere you can come and go as you please. Last time I let you go, but this time it won't be so easy. I'll break you today!" he sneered. "Even if you're the leader of the O Alliance, it won't help. Not even God could help you now!"
Victoria was the leader of the O Alliance?
Kimberly, Dylan, and Brian were shocked, their eyes turning to the calm Victoria. Kimberly was slightly more composed, having suspected it recently.
Victoria felt a strong hand on her waist, and Alexander whispered in her ear, "The leader of the O Alliance?"
She almost forgot Alexander was there. Craig had a loose tongue.
But since she brought Alexander, she didn't intend to hide it. He'd find out sooner or later.
She looked up at him, grinning. "It's just a minor title, not worth mentioning. Being your wife is more impressive."
Alexander's eyes twitched slightly, a smile tugging at his mouth, full of affection. "You really are clever."
Dylan and Brian were dumbfounded. The leader of the O Alliance, a minor title? Not worth mentioning?
The O Alliance's status was second only to Mystic Hall, respected by all. Their network was vast. Some people Mystic Hall couldn't find, but the O Alliance could.
But Victoria wasn't wrong; being Alexander's wife was indeed more impressive.
Craig watched their intimacy, his eyes and mouth twitching uncontrollably.
They were showing affection in front of him? Were they tired of living?
"You want to show affection? Do it later!" Craig snapped.
