Chapter 94 A Huge Pocket Money

"Isn't a husband's money meant for his wife? This is your pocket money," Alexander said.

Victoria felt overwhelmed. This was $40 million, but he made it sound like $400.

Who got $40 million as pocket money?

Back at the office, she told Lila, who was amazed.

Lila said, "That's wild. Only Alexander would call $40 million pocket money. Having a billionaire husband must be nice; even the pocket money is in the millions."

Victoria stayed quiet.

Lila sighed, "That's a huge amount of pocket money."

"With a rich husband like that, you might as well quit your job and enjoy life," Lila joked.

Victoria shot back, "Do you think I'm the type to just stay home and do nothing?"

Lila quickly shook her head.

Others might not get Victoria, but Lila did. Asking Victoria to stay home was like asking her to wither away.

Later, Lila posted: [I want pocket money in the millions too.]

Within a minute, comments flooded in.

Marlowe: [Lila, work hard & u'll get there.]

Eve: [R u crazy? Stop dreaming and go on more dates!]

Her dad, Elijah Scott: [Sorry, I'm not rich. Maybe ur bros can help; I gotta take care of ur mom.]

Her eldest brother, Charles Scott: [Get married soon! I can't afford it!]

Her second brother, Paul Scott: [Should I just give you my life? Stop dreaming about millions in pocket money!]

Lila knew she was always pressured to get married despite being pampered. What a family!

She blocked Owen from seeing the post. Obviously, she didn't want him to see it.

Victoria saw the post and liked it.

Around five, Victoria got a call from the Kennedy mansion, asking her to come back.

She figured it was about recent events and decided to go since it had been a while.

At the Kennedy mansion, as Victoria got out of the car, she saw Clara, dressed extravagantly, standing at the door like a proud princess.

Victoria smirked and asked, "When did you start working as a greeter?"

With her hands in her trench coat pockets, Victoria stood casually yet elegantly in front of Clara, who was half a head shorter. She smiled slightly, watching Clara's face twist with anger.

"Can't handle it? Aren't you thoughtful?" Victoria leaned in with a sly smile. "Did you know your fiancé asked to meet me alone today?"

Clara's eyes widened, and she yelled, "You bitch, why did you meet Lucas? Are you trying to seduce him?"

Victoria watched Clara's twisted expression. She had said Lucas asked to meet her, but Clara always twisted her words.

Forget it, this was Clara's true nature. No, it was the true nature of the entire Kennedy family.

Victoria smiled faintly and misled her on purpose. "I'm not telling you! Since he doesn't want to tell you, I have to keep this secret."

She walked gracefully into the yard, ignoring Clara's shouts behind her.

She did it on purpose because Clara cared so much about Lucas and couldn't stand him meeting Victoria privately. She wanted to make Clara uncomfortable.

In the living room, Oliver, Simon, and Elodie were there.

Victoria walked to the sofa and sat down without hesitation. After all, this was her home, and she didn't feel it was inappropriate.

But to Oliver and Simon, she was being disrespectful, reckless, and rude!
