Sarah felt that if Victoria didn't come out soon, she would left awkwardly standing there.
She had never been alone with Alexander before.

Sarah wasn't a pretentious person, and she wasn't hurt. She still had scenes to shoot today, so she definitely wanted to go back to the set.
She said, "To the set; staying at home is boring."
"Dear, please take Sarah to the set first." Victoria looked at the silent Alexander and smiled.
He could never refuse her requests, nor did he want to.

After safely taking Sarah back to the set, Victoria gave Nancy a few instructions before getting back into the car.

Soren had long stopped managing the Hughes family's affairs, leaving all the decision-making to his eldest son, Algernon.
Seeing today's scene, Soren felt troubled and left early.
Julia's mother, Hannah Nguyen, and her father, Cade Hughes, hadn't even had a chance to plead before Soren left.
"Algernon, Julia is still young." Hannah, naturally protective of her only daughter, said, "And this marriage alliance isn't something we want. Algernon, you know the Astor family's son is a fool. How can Julia marry him? Algernon, Claire, you've watched Julia grow up. Can you bear to see her marry a fool for life?"

"Claire, I..." Hannah was startled by her anger.
Julia didn't expect Claire, who always doted on her, to not stand by her side this time.
Claire was angry, not just because of Hannah's words, but also because no one had discussed today's matter with her.

Julia's heart sank. Her good treatment in the Hughes family was largely due to Claire's affection.
