Chapter 413 Make Victoria Feel Threatened

Penthouse of the hotel.

Victoria returned to her room and went to the bathroom.

When she finished her bath and stepped out of the bathroom, her brows furrowed.

There was someone outside the living room.

Thomas would never barge in without her permission, and no one else would either.

She narrowed her eyes, a glint of coldness flashing within them.

She was only wrapped in a white towel, and then she put on a bathrobe.

She walked lightly to the door of the room. Fortunately, she had the habit of locking the door when she returned to the hotel.

She pressed her ear against the door to listen to the noise outside, and her brows furrowed again.

A female voice sounded outside. Why did it seem familiar?

Two minutes later, she changed into a set of clothes.

Victoria opened the door, which directly faced the living room.

At this moment, Kimberly, who was reporting to Alexander in the living room, instinctively turned her head when she heard the sound.

The two of them locked eyes directly.

Victoria stared at Kimberly, who appeared in her room, and the dignified Alexander sitting motionlessly on the sofa.

At that moment, she was really dumbfounded.

"How did you find this place?" Victoria asked, standing at the door of the room and looking at them in the living room.

She might have just finished bathing, so her delicate face was slightly flushed, her full red lips like water droplets, very charming.

Kimberly respectfully called out, "Hello, Mrs. Howard."

Victoria didn't speak, her gaze was all on Alexander.

Kimberly was also very tactful, said a word, and then turned to leave.

The couple stared at each other for a while, neither of them taking the initiative to speak.

In the end, it was he who compromised first.

"Come here," he said, raising his hand and beckoning to her, like he was summoning a disobedient, sulking kitten.

She didn't want to go. The thought of him smiling at 'Waverly' made her heart ache. So she simply said, "I don't want to."

Alexander was obviously taken aback, his brows slightly raised. He actually heard grievance in this sentence.

What was she aggrieved about?

He hadn't done anything yet, not even confronted her about sneaking off here without telling him.

So, the couple stalemated for a while again.

Alexander sighed deeply, got up, and walked towards her with his long legs.

He stood in front of her, and she would slightly raise her head to him.

But this time, she lowered her head in front of him, unwilling to look at him.

Alexander pursed his lips, his voice dark and slightly stern, "Do you know you were wrong?"

Victoria lowered her head because she didn't want to look at him, lest she couldn't stay angry when she saw his face.

How could she let him off so easily?

So she lowered her head.

But, his first words were to scold her.

She suddenly opened her eyes, raised her head, and looked at him.

Her eyes flashed with disbelief, confusion, and a touch of anger. Alexander caught every bit of it.

He also frowned in confusion, just about to speak, when the mischievous Victoria retorted and questioned him, "Shouldn't it be you who was wrong? I don't know who, upon seeing the socialite of the Presidential Palace, turned from a cold-faced CEO into a man who only knows how to smile foolishly!"

Victoria crossed her arms and glared at him, her words full of displeasure.

Of course, she exaggerated a bit.

Alexander was puzzled. He narrowed his eyes and stared at her.

It was the first time he heard her speak so sarcastically.

She wasn't afraid of his gaze either. Anyway, her mistakes were nothing compared to his.

In an instant, Alexander's brows relaxed, his eyes lit up with a smile, and a hearty laugh escaped him.

Hearing his laughter, her face instantly wrinkled. "Alexander, you actually have the nerve to laugh?"

Alexander looked at her eyes and saw her cute, puffed-up cheeks, feeling so warm inside that it seemed like he was about to melt.

He didn't answer her.

Instead, he used the most direct method.

Alexander reached out and gently lifted her chin. In the moment of her confusion, his cold thin lips covered her soft red lips.

He kissed her deeply, his tongue exploring her mouth and savoring her taste.

Alexander's other hand also held her waist, pressing her towards him.

She initially wanted to push him away because she was still angry.

But, she was too weak!

As she tried to push him away, her hands found his broad, solid shoulders, and she melted into his kiss.

After a while, he caressed her cheek with one hand, his forehead resting against hers.

A wicked smile curved his lips, and he said with a teasing tone, "So you were jealous, huh?"

Victoria pursed her slightly numb red lips in silence.

Alexander teased, "I'm glad you get jealous. Maybe I should spend more time with other women to make you jealous and keep you on edge. And you look quite cute when you're jealous."

Victoria originally had a lot to say, but now she couldn't say a word.

"Did you recognize me from the start?" she asked angrily.

Even if she was slow, she couldn't miss the meaning in his words just now.

Alexander was silent.

And silence was the best answer.

"Sure enough. You did it on purpose." Before she could finish, his lips silenced her with a kiss.

On the living room sofa.

"No one else recognized me. Why did you only need one look to know it was me?" She lay on his chest, looking up and blinking at him.

She was puzzled. It wasn't her first time using a disguise.

She had never failed before, but Alexander saw through her!

Alexander chuckled. "I know every part of you so well, and I'm extremely familiar with you."

Victoria was silent. It sounded ambiguous.

She cupped his face with her hands, and asked, "You really didn't fancy Waverly?"

She raised her eyebrows. "She's a socialite of the President, and I heard she's the beauty of the Kingdom of Serenia, attracting attention wherever she goes."

As she asked, she kneaded his face.

Only she had the guts to knead his face so recklessly.

Alexander raised his hand to touch her head, looking at her with a gentle smile.
