Chapter 414 I Only Have Eyes for You

Alexander said tenderly, "I only have eyes for you."Victoria's lips curled up.

Then Alexander lightly tapped her forehead with his index finger and asked irritably, "What? Do you want me to marry Waverly?"

She tilted her head and thought for a moment, then said, "It's not impossible. After all, she's the president's daughter. That way, you could protect me in the future."

Alexander laughed helplessly and continued her words, "Then in what capacity should I protect you?"

"Friend? Lover? You choose." She responded quickly, speaking nonsense with a serious face.

Alexander knocked on her forehead. "You wish."

She teased, "I do wish, but it depends on whether you can do it."

Alexander was silent for a moment. "I'm only with you." Then he narrowed his eyes, an intense sense of oppression radiating from him. "You'll never leave me in this lifetime!" he declared.

Victoria felt the crushing pressure.

It seemed like the joke had gone too far.

"I was joking. How could I leave such an amazing husband—handsome, rich, and powerful? I wish I could hide you away. How could I ever let you go? Being with you feels like having everything," she said, flattering him.

Alexander was silent.

"What president's daughter? We don't care at all. I only want you," Victoria added.

She said all the sweet words she could think of.

When she stopped talking, she heard a sentence, "Alright, now I'm yours."

"What?" She blinked in confusion.

The next second, she was easily picked up by him and carried to the bedroom.

She was half-pressed on the bed by him.

Alexander's elbow was propped up near her ear, his hand gently stroking her hair, his deep eyes full of her reflection.

His thin lips parted slightly. "Remember what you just said."

She obediently nodded, but then rebelliously asked, "What if I don't remember?"

Alexander squinted, his lips curling up in a wicked smile.

Without another word, he silenced her with a kiss.

Before long, they were kissing passionately.

In her daze, Victoria heard him say, "If you can't remember, I'll have to remind you in my own way."A question flashed through her mind.

She suddenly felt the weight on her body lighten, and a chill hit her.

She looked in confusion at Alexander, who was fully dressed and looking down at her.

"Darling, what are you doing?" she asked, her voice husky with desire.

Alexander's gaze fixed on her flushed face, his voice low and rough. "Do you remember now?"

Victoria bit her lip, not answering immediately, unaware of how this action intensified Alexander's desire. She had no idea how alluring she looked.

She nodded. "Yes."

And with that, they let their desires take over.

In the Presidential Palace, everyone had their own schemes.

After Alexander left without a word, Waverly returned to her room and fell into a reverie.

She really didn't expect to see him again.

Over the years, she had many suitors, but she didn't like any of them because she had always liked one person.

Since he came this time, she wouldn't be passive anymore.

She made a phone call to have someone investigate something.

At that moment, in a dark corner of the Presidential Palace, two figures stood, their voices indicating they were a man and a woman.

"Forgive me, I couldn't retrieve the lost badge."

A voice in the darkness scolded, "Idiot!"

"I searched the entire Presidential Palace but couldn't find it. It might have been taken to the garbage dump."

"You better pray it really was taken to the garbage dump. If someone with ill intentions finds it, we're both finished!"

Such a thing shouldn't have appeared here in the first place.

In the study of the main building of the Presidential Palace, Casey said, "Mr. Windsor, tonight's matter has been handed over to Robbie Ellis for investigation."

Zephyr sat at the desk, with a photo album in front of him.

He looked at the album. "Casey, what do you think the purpose of the person who impersonated Waverly tonight was? She didn't take anything except one photo from this album."

He had flipped through the album and found one group photo missing.

Casey pondered for a while, not knowing how to answer.

But he could roughly guess Zephyr's thoughts, though it seemed impossible.

So many years had passed, and the person was long dead.

Then, he heard Zephyr's low voice, "Do you think she has returned?"

Casey's face was heavy, and he sighed inwardly before saying, "Mr. Windsor, you know that the eldest daughter of the Penrose family is dead."

At this moment, if anyone were present, they would see that the usually dignified and imposing man, who commanded great respect and authority, now seemed somewhat fragile.

Besides them, only Casey knew the most about Zephyr and the eldest daughter of the Penrose family.

To this day, Zephyr still couldn't let her go.

But being born into the Windsor family, certain things were beyond his control.

"Mr. Windsor, it's time to let go," Casey advised.

Over the decades, Zephyr was a respected and admired president in the eyes of outsiders, with a patriotic and righteous heart. But at home, when he was alone, he always appeared melancholic.

He spent every day in the study, staring at a pocket watch and a photo album.

The next day.

Victoria was woken up by a frantic knocking on the door.

She pulled the quilt over her head.

She was very tired and didn't want to move, just wanted to sleep.

Alexander, who was also woken up, was beside her.

Unable to stand the knocking, she kicked Alexander under the quilt and said hoarsely and groggily, "Darling, go see who is knocking and get rid of them for me."

Alexander had just woken up too, but he wasn't as tired as she was.

Worried she might suffocate herself, he pulled her out from under the quilt, put on a robe, and went out.

The person outside was about to knock again.

The door was suddenly pulled open from the inside. Alexander looked at the few people at the door in silence.
