Chapter 137 Two Cars Brush Past Each Other
Last time at Howard Villa, Victoria held back, so Neil thought she was just a bit strong. He had no idea how powerful she really was.
But now, he saw it firsthand.
Shocked!
That was the only word in his mind.
Her moves were lightning-fast, and her punches packed a punch. The four bodyguards couldn't keep up and were getting pummeled. They couldn't even touch her.
It was the first time the bodyguards had seen such power in such a small frame. Her speed and strength were beyond what you'd expect from a woman, even stronger than most men.
They tried their best, but it was useless.
Three minutes later, the four men were on the ground, groaning in pain.
Victoria stood tall, completely unscathed.
Five men couldn't take down one petite woman!
She walked towards Neil, her presence intimidating, and her voice icy. "I'll ask you one more time. Is Alexander really injured?"
Seeing this terrifying side of Victoria, Neil finally felt a twinge of fear. She was too scary.
This was the first time he'd seen her like this. Last time at the Howard family, she was dignified, elegant, and a bit cold. Now, she was like a demon, her eyes chilling and sinister. He got goosebumps.
As Victoria approached, he backed away in fear. Even if he could fight, his hands were injured. Facing Victoria's monstrous strength, he had no chance. Plus, the drug he'd been injected with was kicking in.
Victoria noticed something was off and understood.
"Neil, I'll give you one more chance, or you'll wish you were never born!" she said coldly.
Neil squatted in pain, his cheeks red. The pain in his wrist and the drug's effects made him miserable.
"He is injured, but I don't know the details," he said with difficulty.
Victoria didn't know the drug's effect, but seeing Neil like this, she could guess. She had no sympathy for him; he intended to use it on her.
Seeing him like this, he must have been used by someone.
She thought about the past few days when Alexander was on a business trip. She'd felt uneasy and thought he sounded strange on the phone. So, Neil wasn't lying.
She trusted Neil's words but didn't think he planned this.
But why didn't Alexander tell her?
She took Neil's phone and car keys.
She locked the five men in the factory and left them behind.
She hadn't expected to find out about Alexander's injury when she initially wanted to see who was trying to kidnap her.
She drove away in Neil's car.
In the car, she quickly drove while using Neil's phone, entered the password she got from him, and made a call.
Focused on the phone and worried about Alexander, she didn't notice the black sedan that passed her.
Both cars were speeding, passing each other in a flash.
Suddenly, the black sedan screeched to a stop.
Quentin shouted, "Stop," and Marcus instinctively hit the brakes.
"Mr. Howard, I think I saw Mrs. Howard. She was driving a black Range Rover that just passed," Quentin said urgently, turning to Alexander in the back seat.
At that moment, Alexander's phone rang.
