Chapter 32 Victoria and Alexander Return to Howard Villa

Alexander watched Victoria and Lila whispering nearby, a smile tugging at his lips.

Seeing Victoria so lively was a rare sight; she was usually pretty reserved.

Lila sneaked another glance at Alexander's handsome face, nudged Victoria, and grinned, "Girl, you're amazing. Alexander's got it all—looks, figure, money, power."

Victoria stayed silent.

Lila raised an eyebrow and whispered, "You're so lucky. Is he good in bed?"

"Lila, keep it up and I'll dock your whole year's bonus!" Victoria squinted her eyes, sounding threatening.

Lila, worried about her bonus, grabbed Victoria's arm, "Don't, I'm just looking out for you!"

Victoria replied, annoyed, "I don't know."

Lila wanted to say more, but Victoria cut her off, "Enough. I need to go to Howard Villa with him."

Victoria quickly walked over to Alexander, pulling him towards the car, not giving Lila a chance to speak.

Alexander let her lead him, surprised she took his hand first.

Lila shouted happily, "Alexander, it's Victoria's first relationship. Be patient with her quirks!"

Victoria felt a bit helpless, wishing she could shut Lila up.

In the car, Victoria barely sat down before saying, "Let's go."

Alexander looked at her with deep, meaningful eyes.

"What's wrong?" Victoria asked, puzzled.

Before she could finish, Alexander leaned over, and she instinctively moved towards the door.

Then came the sound of the seatbelt clicking into place.

"Seatbelt," Alexander said gently, looking at her softly.

Victoria blinked, nodded, and pursed her lips slightly.

Alexander's eyes were fixed on her lips, his Adam's apple moving.

They were so close, they could feel each other's breath.

Victoria could clearly see his Adam's apple moving!

Lila, watching from outside, had her eyes wide open, fists clenched in excitement, thinking, 'Is this a free show?'

"Was what your friend said true?" Alexander suddenly asked.

Victoria, confused, looked at him with her big eyes.

"Is this your first relationship?"

Victoria didn't expect that question.

Alexander, not getting an answer, leaned in closer, making Victoria shrink back again.

"Is it?" Alexander asked softly.

Victoria quickly replied, "Yes."

Then Alexander asked, "You never liked Lucas Tudor?"

Victoria was even more surprised he brought up Lucas.

She answered honestly, "No."

They had just known each other since childhood and were familiar because of an engagement, but they weren't close.

Her nervous hands had nowhere to go, so she clenched them into fists on her lap.

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw Alexander's smile grow wider. He seemed really happy.

Then his cool, thin lips kissed her for a few seconds before pulling away. His deep, magnetic voice filled the car.

"That's your reward," he said.

Victoria was speechless.

Because she said she never liked Lucas?

Her flushed cheeks showed how embarrassed she was.

Outside the car, Lila couldn't contain her excitement. She shouted and even stomped her feet, "They kissed!"

Even after the black car drove away, she was still buzzing.

Lila never imagined her best friend would marry someone as rich and powerful as Alexander. How amazing was that?

The Howard family was a century-old dynasty with businesses worldwide. Alexander wasn't just the head of the family; he controlled the entire Howard business empire, influencing Stellaria's economy.

As Victoria's best friend, Lila could do as she pleased in Rihegde and even all of Stellaria in the future.

And they looked so good together. She totally shipped them!

Because of what had just happened, Victoria was lost in thought on the way to Howard Villa.

It wasn't until the car drove through an ancient gate that she snapped out of it.

Looking at the huge, majestic building, she was stunned. She knew Howard Villa would be big, but this was over the top.

The gate's carvings were intricate and majestic.

The white walls were lined with unevenly planted greenery.

As soon as Alexander parked, he heard Victoria exclaim, "Oh no."

"What's wrong?"

Victoria turned to him, frustrated. "I forgot the gifts for your grandfather and parents in my car, which is still at Lila's place."

Alexander thought it was something serious. He comforted her, "To them, you are the best gift."

Victoria was silent.

How was she supposed to respond to that?

Alexander reached back and took out two bags, handing them to her. "I had these prepared. What's mine is yours."

Victoria felt a warm glow inside, knowing Alexander always had her back.

Without the gifts, she would have felt really embarrassed going in.

"Thank you. How can you be so thoughtful?" Victoria said gratefully.

Alexander's lips curved slightly. "Just saying 'thank you' doesn't seem very sincere."

Victoria asked, "Then how can I show sincerity? Treat you to a meal?"

Alexander patiently continued, "Just a kiss will do. No need to treat me to a meal; we eat together every day."

Victoria was stunned for a moment.

Alexander didn't rush her, patiently waiting. He thought he would have to wait a long time, but within a few seconds, he felt her kiss on his cheek.

After the kiss, Victoria immediately opened the car door and got out.

Alexander was slightly taken aback, then let out a low chuckle.
