Chapter 272 The Way Victoria Wakes Up Ellington

It was still afternoon, and the club hadn't opened yet.

But Kimberly could already tell that once night rolled around, this place would be hopping.

Only the rich could party here, a world of wild fun that regular folks couldn't even dream of.

The receptionist made a call, and soon enough, a long-haired woman in a tight red dress came strutting over.

One look at her, and you'd be hooked by her mesmerizing eyes. She had a face that was both stunning and seductive—an incredibly sexy woman.

Sophia Getty's lips curled into a slightly wicked smile that could make anyone's knees buckle, but Victoria didn't even flinch.

"Victoria, long time no see." Sophia's eyes and lips were all smiles as she walked up to Victoria, arms wide open for a hug.

But Victoria quickly sidestepped, leaving Sophia hugging thin air.

Sophia didn't get mad. She just raised an eyebrow and looked at Victoria's increasingly beautiful face with a teasing, flirtatious glint in her eyes. "No hug for me?"

Victoria pursed her lips and gave her a faint look.

Sophia was drop-dead gorgeous, with pretty eyes, a straight nose, and a delicate face. But her beauty had a sultry edge. Every move and word from her could drive men wild.

Victoria couldn't stand Sophia's antics. "Just talk to me normally!"

Sophia let out a charming, seductive laugh. She crossed her arms and looked at Victoria, her sultry voice gaining a bit of clarity, "After all these years, you're still the same. What's wrong with a hug?"

Sophia chuckled, "So many men adore me, but you're the only one who can't stand me."

Victoria shot her a cold look with her almond-shaped eyes and said calmly, "You said it yourself, those are men."

Sophia snorted, "Well, at least women envy my perfect body." She straightened her back and chest as she spoke.

Victoria glanced indifferently and replied, "I don't need to. I'm very happy with myself."

Sophia fell silent. Victoria really had no reason to envy Sophia's looks. Victoria herself had an absolutely stunning face, though she could improve by droping that cold tone.

Victoria had beauty, wealth, brains, and fighting skills. She was also a bit stubborn, always coming off as cold and distant. But Sophia liked Victoria a lot and always enjoyed being around her.

Actually, this cold exterior of Victoria's hid someone who'd go to hell and back for her friends, which made Sophia like her even more.

Despite being young, Victoria was involved in all sorts of fields and managed to set records that others couldn't even touch.

Sometimes Sophia couldn't help but wonder how Victoria pulled it all off.

"Take me to see Ellington," Victoria said straight up. She didn't want to waste any more time; she had to get back for dinner with Alexander tonight.

Sophia's lips curled up, and she raised an eyebrow, "Alright, I'll take you."

Sophia led Victoria to the VIP room on the top floor of the club.

Victoria squinted, "Why bring me here?"

Sophia crossed her arms, leaning her right shoulder against the wall by the door, her long, straight, sexy legs slightly crossed, her body tilted. She gestured towards the door with her eyes, "He partied too hard last night. Didn't hit the sack until four in the morning, so he's still out cold."

Victoria stayed silent.

Sophia chuckled, "You know, he gets really pissed when he's woken up. Even I don't dare to disturb him. You're probably the only one who can wake him up without getting your head bitten off."

Victoria's face darkened, "Open the door."

Sophia immediately turned to Harold Myers beside her and said, "Harold, open the door."

Harold's heart skipped a beat, and he swallowed hard, "Are you serious?"

Seeing his scared look, Sophia said irritably, "Stop whining and hurry up."

Harold's hands were shaking, "You have to promise Ellington won't beat me up."

Sophia said, "Don't worry, with Victoria here, he won't touch you."

Sophia could somewhat understand Harold's fear. After all, Ellington could be a real beast when he lost his temper.

Harold glanced at Victoria beside him. Although he wasn't entirely confident, since Sophia had said so, he was willing to trust her. After all, Sophia had never mistreated or lied to any of them.

Plus, Ellington was either sleeping or going wild on the dance floor, and it was usually Sophia who managed them.

So Harold mustered up the courage and opened the door.

Immediately, Ellington shouted angrily, "Who dared to splash water on my face?"

Standing outside the door, Harold shivered at the sudden roar of anger from inside. 'Is this woman really that bold? Did she just splash water on Ellington's face right off the bat? Impressive!'
