Chapter 409 This Is Not Me
Generally speaking, they wouldn't casually go up to Zephyr's study.
Even Casey, the chief butler of the Presidential Palace, was no exception.
Thomas was cracking the code lock, while Victoria was browsing the study.
Suddenly, she noticed something.
"Thomas, don't you think Zephyr's study feels a bit off?" she suddenly asked in a low voice.
Thomas was focused on cracking the code lock and didn't hear what she said clearly.
She didn't mind.
She actually didn't find a single family photo in this study.
Thinking back, it seemed there weren't any photos displayed in the hall downstairs either.
It was quite strange not to have a single photo in one's own home.
She walked over to the desk, sat in the chair, and casually opened one of the drawers. Inside lay an old-looking pocket watch.

A faint mechanical unlocking sound was heard.
She turned to Thomas. "One minute and fifty-nine seconds. Thomas, you need to improve your speed."
Thomas remained silent.
No one had ever broken his record!
"I'll go open the other one, you check the contents inside," Thomas said.
Victoria squatted on the ground, one knee bent, her elbow resting on her knee, and glanced at the contents of the safe.
It was all documents, but documents locked in a safe were important ones.
She flipped through them but didn't find the information she was looking for.
After reading, she put them back as they were.
Meanwhile, Thomas had opened the other safe.
Thomas glanced inside; there were some certificates and property deeds, but also a photo album.
He opened it and was shocked by what he saw. "Vicky, why is your photo in Zephyr's safe?"
Victoria had just put back a document when she heard Thomas's voice. She turned her head, looking puzzled at him.
"Look." Thomas directly turned the photo album towards her.
Victoria squinted, looking at the somewhat old photo, but it was well-preserved. The photo showed a long-haired woman, seemingly around seventeen years old.
The face bore a striking resemblance to hers: Esme in a white dress, smiling on the pavilion steps. The album was filled with photos of Esme and a young Zephyr.
Victoria said, "This isn't me; it's my mother."
Thomas was astonished. "What?"
Then he asked, "So, what is the relationship between Esme and Zephyr?"
To have a photo locked in a safe meant it was important to Zephyr.
Otherwise, why would the ruler of the Kingdom of Serenia treasure a photo album in a safe?
This was also what Victoria wanted to know.
She didn't expect to find such an unbelievable thing while investigating the connection between 103 and the Windsor Family.
"I also want to know what their relationship is." She murmured, looking at the photo of the two.
Her shock and confusion were no less than Thomas's.
Some vague thoughts formed in her mind, but she wasn't sure.
She looked at the photo in her hand, wondering if this was a coincidence.
At this moment, Marigold's voice came through her earpiece, "Zephyr and a man have left the reception room and are heading towards the main building. They should arrive in about five minutes."
Victoria replied, "Got it."
The two quickly tidied up and left the study.
Meanwhile, Russell reported that Waverly had been discovered and was preparing to return.
Since they had cut off her communication with the Presidential Palace, she couldn't call the Presidential Palace at the moment.
"You three leave with Thomas first. I'll leave before Waverly returns." She walked along the second-floor corridor, lowering her voice.
Because if she went down now, she would definitely encounter Zephyr.
As Victoria crossed the hall, she heard voices outside the main door, including a familiar one.
She frowned and saw two men walking in together.
She stood there, staring at the people in front of her, completely stunned.
It was Zephyr calling her name that brought her back to reality.
