Chapter 235 I'm Afraid I'm Too Charming

Victoria noticed Alexander's tie was a bit crooked, so she just reached out and fixed it without thinking twice.

Alexander looked down, watching her seriously straighten his tie.

She was already in her ultimate outfit—a stunning white wedding dress. She looked drop-dead gorgeous, her skin perfectly matching the dress. Her long hair was tied back with a white ribbon, flowing down her back. She had these delicate tassel earrings and a thin heart-shaped necklace around her neck.

The photographer caught the whole scene.

Those unplanned moments were always the best.

It was like looking at a perfect painting.

"All set." Victoria patted the wrinkles on his chest after she was done.

Alexander's eyes sparkled with a smile, and he had this teasing grin. "You're so thoughtful, babe."

She shot him a side-eye. "As I always do"

Alexander raised an eyebrow, his tone full of playful doubt. "Really?"

His question made her feel a bit guilty.

Honestly, "thoughtful" wasn't really her thing.

She didn't do any chores because Sawyer handled everything.

Cooking was not her thing as well.

And her clothes were mostly picked out by Alexander. He even ran her bath and dried her hair. Therefore, he really did take care of her.

She looked up at him, her tone light and playful. "I don't need to be thoughtful because I have you."

Alexander chuckled and tapped her forehead affectionately. "You're right."

She was basically complimenting him and saying she relied on him.

He loved that she depended on him, hoping she'd always need him and never leave.

Alexander wrapped an arm around her waist, and she leaned back a bit to avoid pressing against him.

He then lowered his head, their foreheads touching. His eyes sparkled like stars, reflecting her face.

Alexander said softly, "From now on, you just need to be beautiful."

Victoria was touched by his sweet words and his gentle voice.

Her eyes curved with happiness, and she smiled brightly. "Okay."

Her small hand caressed his cheek and neck, her fingers tracing his lips.

Victoria said, "I want to kiss you."

Alexander was amused by her shyness. He laughed joyfully.

The people nearby had no idea what he was laughing about; they were talking too softly.

Plus, everyone was amazed at how good they looked together.

In their intimate moments, the photographer had already snapped a bunch of shots.

"We've done way more intimate things, and you're still shy about kissing me?" Alexander asked with a smile.

She shook her head, looking serious. "No, I'm just afraid I'm too irresistible, and you won't be able to control yourself, which would be pretty embarrassing."

She raised an eyebrow and glanced at his private area.

Alexander's mouth twitched. He reached out and pinched her nose, a loving smile on his lips. "Daring to joke with me, but you do have a point."

After finishing the last set of photos, they both left.

On the way, she got a call from Lila.

Lila asked, "Sweetie, have you and Alexander finished the wedding photos?"

"Just wrapped up. What's up?" Victoria asked, puzzled because Lila sounded a bit anxious.

Lila quickly said, "Marlowe's in some trouble. She doesn't want to ask Grant for help or let him know. I'm out of town and won't be back until the afternoon. She knows you're taking wedding photos today, so she didn't want to bother you."

"Where is she?" Victoria asked.

Lila replied, "At the police station."

Half an hour later, Victoria arrived at the police station.
