Chapter 232 Alexander Cooks

Alexander washed his hands.

With a quick move, he wrapped his long arms around Victoria's waist, spinning her right in front of him.

Before she could even blink, Alexander grabbed her chin, making her look up.

Next thing she knew, he was kissing her, and it wasn't gentle.

His tongue was all over her mouth.

All she could do was go with it, her hands climbing up to his shoulders, wrapping around his neck, trying to keep up with him.

Slowly, he got softer, and she couldn't help but let out a few little moans.

Alexander's strong arms pulled her in tighter, leaving no space between them.

Good thing he was holding her, or she might've just collapsed.

The kitchen was heating up, filled with the sounds of their hot and heavy kissing and her shy gasps.

Just when she thought she might pass out, Alexander let her go. His lips moved down to her neck, then to her left ear, where he whispered, "Don't touch a guy's abs like that."

Victoria, her legs all wobbly from his kisses, rested her chin on his shoulder, whispering, "But you're my husband."

Her voice was so soft and sexy, it made his knees weak, making him want to take her right there.

But he remembered she hadn't eaten yet, so he tried to hold back.

Alexander frowned, his eyes dark with desire, but he teased her with a smile, "Be good. Don't mess around. I'm cooking. Plenty of time for that later tonight. Let's get you fed first."

Victoria snapped back to reality. Her cheeks turned bright red. She had definitely felt his erection.

She was worried he might lose control and take her right there in the kitchen.

She found an excuse and was about to leave. "I'll go change my clothes and come back down."

Alexander's husky voice stopped her. "Don't move yet. Let me calm down first."

Victoria stayed quiet.

Alexander could tell she was shy and trying to escape. "Don't think you can get away tonight."

Alexander's breath on her cheeks and neck made her feel all tingly and hot. His deep, husky voice was just too much.

She didn't want to think about what he said, so she stayed quiet.

When it came to sex, she was always the shy one. Just now, she had been totally mesmerized by his abs and couldn't control herself.

She didn't respond, and just as Alexander was about to say something else, a sound interrupted them.

Her stomach growled.

Alexander's laugh made Victoria feel super embarrassed.

He stood up and looked at the flustered Victoria.

Besides the desire she had stirred in him, his eyes were full of affection.

Alexander reached out and lightly tapped her nose, then touched her forehead with a finger. "Maybe don't flirt with me in the kitchen. I don't want you to starve. This is the last time."

Just as she was about to say "Okay," she saw Alexander's lips curl into a mischievous smile, and he added, "But I wouldn't mind in the kitchen."

She got the hint right away.

Glaring at him, she said, "Don't even think about it."

She pushed him away and bolted out of the kitchen.

She bumped into Landon, who had just walked in.

Landon called out, "Victoria, why's your face so red? You sick or something?"

Victoria didn't bother answering and dashed upstairs.

Landon was left scratching his head. 'What's her deal? Why's she running away from me? I ain't asking for money.'

Just then, Sawyer walked in, and Landon quickly grabbed him. "Sawyer, did Molly make dinner? I'm starving."

Sawyer grinned, "Molly's off today."

Landon frowned. "So no dinner tonight?"

Sawyer smirked and pointed to the kitchen. "Mr. Alexander Howard's in there."

"What?" Landon's eyes went wide. He looked at Sawyer, then at the kitchen, spotting Alexander's tall, familiar figure. He rubbed his eyes, thinking he was seeing things.

"Holy crap! It really is Alexander."

Even though Landon was usually full of himself, he knew better this time.

Alexander wasn't cooking for him. Realizing Victoria had just come from the kitchen, he finally got why she had bolted.

But he had never tasted Alexander's cooking before.

He never thought that one day, thanks to Victoria, he'd get to try Alexander's food.

To make sure he got to eat and didn't get kicked out, he decided to behave.

He didn't go to the kitchen to bug Alexander, keeping his curiosity in check, and sat obediently in the living room.

When Victoria came down in a new outfit, Landon just greeted her without prying.

She nodded and headed to the kitchen.

Landon was dying of curiosity, sitting on the couch, craning his neck to peek into the kitchen. He wanted to know how Alexander and Victoria were doing lately, so he could at least tell Saskia.

But the living room was too far from the kitchen, and he didn't dare get closer, fearing he'd get scolded and kicked out, missing out on the meal. This time, he chose food over curiosity.

After a while, Victoria came out.

She stood at the kitchen door, head down, biting her lip. She had been kicked out.

Alexander, with a hint of disdain, had said, "Wait outside. You only distract me. I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself, and don't want you to starve."

Victoria's mouth twitched. She didn't go to the living room; she just stood at the kitchen door, watching Alexander bustling inside. She reached up to touch her face.

She then looked at her reflection in the glass of the kitchen door, checking out her makeup-free, delicate face.

She muttered to herself, "Is it really that hard to control? I can't even stand still."

Victoria underestimated her effect on Alexander. 'Oh well, whatever he says goes. Watching him is also a kind of happiness.'

Who would've thought the high and mighty Alexander would personally cook at home? And the taste was no worse than a five-star chef's.
