Chapter 28 Simon's Shameless Request!
"Let's not even get into the whole Kennedy Group shares thing right now. But you need to transfer 20% of Horizon Group's shares to your sister."
Victoria was floored by her dad's blatant favoritism. She thought she must be hearing things.
She narrowed her eyes and said coldly, "What did you just say? Say it again."
He declared, "Your mom married into the Kennedy family, and even in death, she's still part of it. The company she started is part of our marital property. So, it's only fair you transfer 20% of the shares to your sister. Whether you like it or not, you have to do it."
Wesley was completely stunned!
The Kennedy family had no shame.
A chill filled the room, making everyone shiver.
"You are truly shameless!" Victoria refuted.
Victoria's icy gaze swept over the self-righteous Simon. "Is there something wrong with your brain?"
She couldn't believe he actually said that. Giving Clara twenty percent of the shares was like handing over half the company!
Utterly shameless!
"Keep dreaming!"
She glanced at all four of them, especially Clara. It was clear Clara had put them up to this.
Otherwise, why would they suddenly demand shares of Horizon Group? Horizon Group had nothing to do with the Kennedy family!
She fixed her gaze on Clara and said coldly, "Some people want to sit back and enjoy the fruits of others' labor forever. It's time to wake up. I want to curse at 'people' today, so I won't curse at you."
Clara was furious.
Victoria had indirectly insulted her!
But she couldn't lose her temper because, in front of Oliver and Simon, she always had to be the understanding and kind sister.
She immediately put on a weak and aggrieved look, "I didn't."
Elodie saw this and immediately pulled Clara behind her protectively, looking at Victoria with a face full of vigilance, "What are you trying to do to Clara? Last time you drove her to suicide and threw her into that cold pond to drown her. She's already pitiful enough. She just recovered, and I absolutely won't allow you to hurt her again."
Wesley couldn't help but roll his eyes at Elodie's dramatic behavior. Victoria hadn't done anything.
Victoria ignored Elodie's words.
Seeing that Oliver and Simon were about to speak again, she coldly shouted, "Wesley, call security!"
Wesley immediately responded, "Got it."
This time, Victoria didn't stop for a moment, despite the people behind her calling out to her.
Simon scolded Wesley, "I am the CEO of The Kennedy Group, Victoria's father. How dare you throw me out?"
Wesley ignored his words and lightly waved his hand, and several security guards immediately came over.
"Wesley, what is it?"
Wesley glanced at this group of unreasonable and shameless people and said coldly, "Throw them out!"
The security guards obeyed, each grabbing one person, and easily threw them out.
Elodie let out a scream.
"Mom, are you okay?" Clara immediately supported her, asking with concern.
Oliver and Simon, standing nearby, were red with anger.
Wesley stood in front of them, with four security guards guarding the entrance.
Then, he coughed and loudly announced, "From now on, these four people are not allowed in."
Security guards said together, "Got it, Wesley."
Reception staff also replied, "Understood, Wesley."
The Kennedy family was speechless.
Finally, Oliver couldn't stand the embarrassment any longer, he let out a cold laugh, and turned to leave.
Elodie and Clara followed closely behind.
Before leaving, Clara's eyes were filled with increasing malice and jealousy.
Upstairs in the CEO's office.
Victoria was not affected by the Kennedy family. After returning to her office, she quickly got back to work.
Soon, Wesley came in.
"Ms. Kennedy, they've been thrown out," he reported.
Victoria responded indifferently and then asked, "How's the investigation on the Parker Group's hotels going?"
Wesley had received the results last night and immediately said, "We found out that the Parker Group's hotels have always partnered with companies that primarily produce aromatherapy products. Since they haven't developed new products in recent years, Nolan has been dissatisfied with their products since taking over hotel management. So, he plans to switch partners. Their current contract expires next month, and there don't seem to be any issues."
Victoria leaned back in her chair, resting her chin on one hand, and thought for a moment before looking up at Wesley and asking, "What kind of person do you think Nolan is?"
