Chapter 370 Unknowingly Flirtatious

Two hours later, it was break time.

The host reminded, "Everyone, we will now have a fifteen-minute break. The audience and judges are free to move around, but contestants must stay on stage. You may rest in your seats or continue with your tasks, but please remain on stage.""

As soon as the host finished speaking, only Serafina and IsaDora stopped what they were doing and sat down to rest.

The others continued with their tasks.

Two minutes later, Clara also stopped.

Elodie waved at her from the audience with a proud smile on her face.

But Clara pretended not to see and just smiled at the camera. From Elodie's perspective, it seemed like she was responding to her.

In reality, Clara didn't want to acknowledge Elodie at all.

Since meeting Esme, Clara realized that if Elodie had a strong background or skills, she wouldn't have to rely on herself for everything.

In her eyes, Elodie had never done anything to satisfy her or truly help her.

Elodie was good for nothing but spending money.

At one point, she compared Esme and Elodie and found that Elodie was useless and only played petty tricks.

Originally, Clara didn't want them to come today, but they showed up anyway.

She just hoped they wouldn't embarrass her later.

When the host announced the fifteen-minute break, Victoria got up and left the judges' table.

Less than a minute after she left, Alexander from the guest seats also got up and left.

Tilly wanted to follow Victoria, but seeing Alexander move faster, she stopped herself.

In the VIP lounge, which was a private room Tilly had prepared for her, Victoria had just stepped in when the door opened again.

She turned around and saw Alexander standing at the door.

"What brings you here??" she asked casually.

Alexander closed the door and walked over to her with his long strides.

He lowered his head slightly, and she tilted her head up.

Their eyes met.

Seeing Alexander's silent demeanor, she thought he was angry with her.

So before he could say anything, Victoria took a step forward, wrapped her arms around his waist, leaned back slightly, and looked at him.

"Are you mad?" Victoria asked cautiously, blinking her eyes.

Then she explained, "Oh, I didn't mean to hide it from you. It's just that I didn't think my identity was worth mentioning. I'm just a perfumer, a bit better than most people, that's all."

As she explained, she withdrew her right hand and placed it between them, her thumb and forefinger showing a tiny gap.

Almost as soon as she withdrew one hand, Alexander's hand encircled her slender waist to prevent her from losing balance and falling back.

Alexander raised an eyebrow. "So, should I praise you?"

"No need for praise," she said with a smile, then added, "But if you want to, I won't stop you."

Alexander chuckled and tapped her forehead. "So, what do you want to do today?"

He didn't believe Victoria was just there to be a judge.

Seeing Clara and the Kennedy family confirmed his suspicions.

And it seemed that this family didn't know about Victoria's other identity.

Victoria said, "Actually, it's not a big deal. Clara wants to be my apprentice, and she confidently said she would succeed. So I had to come and see how she would convince me to take her as a student."

Alexander suddenly remembered something he hadn't told Victoria.

"After today's event, I have something to tell you," Alexander said gently.

Seeing his mysterious demeanor, Victoria narrowed her eyes and stared at him suspiciously, "What is it? Why can't you tell me now?"

Before Alexander could answer, she imagined a possibility herself. "You don't have another woman out there, do you?"

Almost as soon as she finished speaking, Alexander lightly tapped her forehead.

Victoria said angrily on purpose, "Alexander, did I get it right? I can't believe you actually hit me."

Alexander was speechless.

He smirked. "If you keep talking nonsense, I don't mind teasing you right here!"

Victoria knew Alexander always meant what he said, so she stopped joking.

"I was just testing you," Victoria said playfully. "So what is it? Don't pique my curiosity."

Unfortunately, the veil covered half of her face, and Alexander could only see her lively eyes filled with a mischievous smile.

It was rare for anyone to pique Victoria's curiosity, but Alexander was always the exception.

Alexander didn't answer her directly but responded in a different way.

Through the veil, Alexander kissed her.

The feeling was strange.

Even though it wasn't their first kiss, it still felt that way.

It wasn't just her; Alexander felt the same.

"Do you know how irresistible you look right now?" Alexander whispered, pressing his forehead against Victoria's.

Victoria's eyes twinkled with a playful smile. "I'm pretty charming, aren't I?" she replied.

Tilly watched as the two returned just in time.

"Where did you go?" Tilly asked quietly.

Victoria replied, "Restroom."

Tilly glanced at her. "Went to the restroom and changed your veil? Did it get wet?"

Victoria felt a bit embarrassed.

She cleared her throat. "Sort of."

Tilly turned her head again to look at the distinguished Alexander sitting in the guest seats, then gave Victoria a mischievous smile.

Victoria pretended not to see.

The host then announced the continuation of the competition.

As time passed, the competition was nearing its end.

The first to finish was IsaDora, the second was Clara, and the third was Serafina. By the time the host announced the end, two contestants had not completed their final steps.

The host said, "Time's up. Now, contestants, please stand aside while the staff collects samples for the judges."

"There will be a ten-minute break during which we will open the live voting channel. Each person has one vote."

"We have 500 audience members, each with a voting device. Each contestant will have one minute to explain the inspiration and meaning behind their perfume. The audience can vote after hearing the explanations or wait until the judges' comments. The voting channel will close after the six judges have given their scores, and then the results will be tallied by the notary and announced."

"Each contestant has a number. You just need to press the corresponding number."

The host spoke clearly, "Let's start with contestant number 7 on the right."

The host kept track of the time, and once a minute was up, it moved to the next contestant, regardless of whether they had finished speaking.

Ten minutes passed quickly, and the live voting channel was still open.

The host said again, "Alright, the explanations are over. Before the judges' comments, let me repeat the scoring rules."

"Each judge has a maximum score of ten points. After a judge comments, they will discuss and decide on a score. The highest and lowest scores will be removed, and the final average score will be calculated."

"After all contestants have been scored, the voting channel will close. The final composite score is based on 60% from the judges and 40% from the audience votes. The contestant with the highest total score will be the champion of this competition."

"Alright, now it's time for the judges. Who would like to comment on contestant number 8?"

The host finished speaking. Just then, one of the judges spoke up, "I'll go."

"Please, go ahead," the host said.

"Contestant number 8 chose relatively common ingredients, but the top notes are very pleasant, reminiscent of spring. However, the concentration ratio is a bit off."

The host said, "Next, contestant number 10."

Twenty minutes later.

Eight judges had commented on six contestants.
