Chapter 285 I Will Protect Her Completely

"Let her go," Eric shouted, glaring at the two maids holding Molly. His eyes were filled with a terrifying murderous intent.

The two maids looked nervous, glancing at Debra for help.

Seeing Eric ordering her people around, Debra realized he was clearly concerned about Molly!

Initially, she wanted to let Molly go because she was afraid of Eric, her dream man!

But then she thought, 'Because of Jessica, mom and I have already completely fallen out with the Clark family, and Eric can never like me. Moreover, this is my home! Even if Eric wants to back Molly up, can his influence really reach this far?'

So, with old and new grudges flooding her mind, Debra gritted her teeth and said, "Don't let go! This is my house, you are my people, and you have to listen to me..."

Before she could finish her sentence, a scream was heard.

One of the maids holding Molly was kicked hard by Eric and flew out quite a distance!

Debra watched in shock as the maid fell to the ground like a ball, her expression turning blank and her body going numb!

The other maid, seeing this, quickly let go of Molly and kept bowing to Eric, trembling like a leaf. "Mr. Clark, I was wrong! But we..."

Another scream was heard.

Eric kicked her far away too, breaking two of her ribs instantly!

Debra screamed in horror!

Everyone was stunned, and the room fell silent.

"Eric." Molly's long lashes fluttered, her legs weak, and she leaned towards Eric.

Eric's pupils contracted, and he quickly wrapped his long arm around Molly's slender waist, pulling her into his embrace.

He held her tightly, his warm, big palm continuously patting her trembling back to comfort her, "I'm here. Don't worry."

Debra's face twisted with jealousy, her fists clenching so hard that her sharp nails pierced her palms!

"It hurts." Molly voiced a fragile whimper.

"Where?" Eric asked as his heart tightened again.

"It hurts." She just kept saying it hurts, as if she hadn't heard his question.

At this moment, Tiffany finally dressed and arrived late.

She had just descended halfway down the stairs when she saw Eric confronting Debra, and the person he was holding and gently comforting was Molly!

Tiffany first frowned.

Then, realizing something, she quietly retreated, hiding in the shadows to spy on what was happening downstairs.

"Debra." Eric's eyes lifted sharply, his gaze dark and fierce as he stared at Debra, "You just got out of the police station, do you want to go back in?"

"I..." Debra was so intimidated by Eric's presence that she didn't dare to breathe, taking two steps back.

"Since you are so forgetful, let me warn you one more time, in front of everyone. And it's the last time." Eric's eyes showed the ferocity of a wild wolf, his handsome face covered with a terrifying gloom, "Molly is the woman I care about deeply. Anyone who dares to bully her is going against me, against the Clark family!" His words echoed through the entire hall!

Debra was drenched in sweat, her face pale.

'Unfortunately, dad and mom aren't here, so no one can protect me!' Debra thought.

"The reason you've been so lucky several times is not because you're from the Wellington family, but because you haven't crossed my line. But Debra, if you bully Molly again, I'll make sure you rot in prison for the rest of your life, and even Patrick won't be able to help you!" Eric, with his left arm around Molly, clenched his right fist so hard that it cracked, "At that time, don't blame me for disregarding the twenty years of friendship between our families!"

As he spoke, his eyes narrowed slightly, glancing upstairs.

Tiffany felt the chilling, bloodthirsty gaze and panicked, retreating several steps!

'Why am I panicking? I am the hostess of the Wellington family and his elder, why should I be afraid of him?' Tiffany thought.

Debra was already choked up by Eric's words, unable to speak.

Though the maids around them were expressionless, she knew they were all laughing at her!

"Molly, come with me. I'll take you to see Edward, or Evelyn, okay?" Eric's thin lips moved close to Molly's ear, and he spoke softly.

Molly, her mind dizzy, just nodded obediently at whatever he said.

Eric's eyes deepened, and he picked Molly up horizontally, ignoring the stares of others, and strode out.

"Eric! You can't take her away!" Debra screamed in anger, "She is from the Wellington family. Do you ask my parents if you just take her away like this?"

Of course, she didn't want Molly to be taken away by him; she would be so jealous that she wouldn't sleep for three days and nights!

"I want to take Molly away, and Molly wants to go with me. So, why can't I?" Eric sneered, his gaze at Debra full of contempt, "Besides, do I need to ask Mrs. Wellington? If she disagreed, she should have come down to stop me by now, right?"

Debra felt as if she had been struck by lightning!

And while she was in shock, Eric had already left with Molly without looking back.

Outside, the cold wind was biting.

Eric, usually rough in his words and actions, was extremely careful with Molly.

He kept rubbing her small arm up and down, afraid she might be cold, wanting to transfer all his body heat to her.

Molly rested her small head against his broad chest, gently rubbing, so obedient and trusting.

Eric's Adam's apple trembled slightly.

He liked this feeling of being relied on and being trusted.

Ellen saw Eric carrying Molly over and smiled knowingly, immediately opening the car door respectfully.

Just as Eric was about to get in the car with Molly, Kimberly came running out, stumbling. "Mr. Clark! Mr. Clark, wait!"

Ellen, not just a secretary but also a professional bodyguard, frowned and immediately blocked Eric.

"Mr. Clark! Can you help Miss Wellington? Can you?" Kimberly stood on the cold ground, crying and pleading.

Eric frowned slightly and said, "Why are you saying this."

Kimberly pleaded. "Please, Mr. Clark. If you help Miss Wellington, I'll do anything you want. I know I'm just a lowly servant in your eyes! But even if it costs me my life, I want to help Miss Wellington!"

"What exactly happened?" Eric's heart tightened, and he asked seriously.

Kimberly wiped her tears forcefully and carefully rolled up Molly's sleeve.

In an instant, both Eric's and Ellen's pupils contracted!

Molly's slender arm was covered in bruises and old and new bloodstains, making them heart-wrenching.

Eric's eyes immediately filled with blood, and the muscles in his arms holding Molly tensed so much that his shirt was about to tear!

"Who did this?" Despite his anger, he only said one sentence.

Ellen's heart skipped a beat.

No one knew Eric better than she did; when he spoke calmly and lightly, it meant he was truly furious.

"It was Ms. Debra Wellington!" Kimberly, crying, said directly, "She, relying on Mr. and Mrs. Wellington's favor, has always bullied Miss Molly Wellington at home! She, like a devil, beats and scolds Miss Molly Wellington. When Mr. Edward Wellington is home, she is a coward and doesn't dare to touch Miss Molly Wellington. But Mr. Edward Wellington can't always be home and protect her."

The more Eric listened, the tighter his brows furrowed.

Even Ellen beside him clenched her fists.

"Eric, you are Mr. Edward Wellington's best friend. It's clear that you genuinely care for Miss Molly Wellington. Please, help her, protect her, will you?" Kimberly cried uncontrollably.

"Alright, I promise you." Eric took a deep breath, looking down at the pitiful Molly in his arms, his heart pounding. "As long as I'm here, I'll protect Molly."

Molly was thus openly taken away by Eric.

Debra was so furious that she could almost explode, and she took out her anger on Kimberly. Not only did she punish her by making her clean all the toilets in Riverside Villa tonight, but she also docked her year-end bonus.

"Enough! Look at your fierce face. No wonder Eric doesn't like you, even I find you annoying!" Tiffany sat leisurely on the sofa, casually filing her bright red nails.

Debra was panting with anger, but she sensed something strange about Tiffany's attitude and thought, 'In the past, if I had suffered such humiliation at home, mom would have jumped out to help me. After all, I am her most beloved daughter, and this is our home and territory. How could we let others run wild? But this time, she is unusually quiet. She must have known about the commotion downstairs, but why didn't she come down to speak for me?'

"Debra, I don't want to see such things happening at home again. Molly is also my daughter. You are sisters. How can you hit her in public? If Patrick and Byron hear about this, they will blame me for not educating you properly. You are twenty-five years old, why do you still act so recklessly like a manic patient? You always say Molly is abnormal, but I think you are too!" Tiffany nagged her.

"Mom! I want to ask you something!" Debra suddenly rushed to Tiffany, glaring at her, "Did you see everything when Eric and I were arguing downstairs?"

Tiffany raised her thin eyebrows, "Yes. So what?"

"You saw everything but didn't help me?" Debra was so angry that her face turned red, exploding with anger on the spot, "Not only did you not help me, but you also let Eric take Molly away? How could you do that?"

"Why couldn't I?" Tiffany's cold laugh left Debra stunned.

"Even I have given up on Eric, haven't you? How could a wise and intelligent woman like me give birth to such a fool like you?" Tiffany looked at Debra with disdain, shaking her head, "Given the current situation, I can't put all my hopes on you. Since Eric is interested in Molly, I can only go with the flow and support them. After all, Molly is also my daughter, and it's rare that Eric doesn't mind her congenital deficiencies and cares so much for her. Since that's the case, I have no reason to stop it. After all, if Molly really ends up with Eric, you, as her sister, will also benefit, won't you?"

Debra's mind buzzed, and her vision went black!

'Mom wants to support Molly? What about me? Do I become a discarded pawn, a joke?' Debra thought.

"Molly absolutely cannot be with Eric, absolutely not. I won't allow it!" Debra, almost crazy, trembled all over, screaming at Tiffany.

It was the first time in her life that she was so furious with Tiffany, whom she had always admired!

Tiffany's eyes darkened, and she casually picked up a wine glass, suddenly splashing it in Debra's face.

Debra was stunned, staring blankly at Tiffany, red wine dripping from her cheeks.

"Who allowed you to shout at me? Do you have any manners?" Tiffany smashed the expensive glass without hesitation, "If you're not convinced, then go and win Eric over! But let me tell you from my experience, stop dreaming! Even if all the women in the world died, Eric would never like you!"

With that, Tiffany left.

Tiffany's last words crushed Debra's last bit of self-esteem and destroyed her last bit of humanity.

Debra, her eyes bloodshot, slowly squatted down, and clenched glass shards in her palm until blood flowed, not caring at all.

It was as if she was gripping Molly's throat!

"All dead? Then let them all die! If everyone is dead, Eric will be mine!" Debra shouted crazily.
