Chapter 408 If You Leave, Don't Come Back!

Kimberly, who was on the phone with Evelyn, paced back and forth alone in the backyard, feeling uneasy.

After all, it was the first time in her life she had done something like this, so it was normal for her to be nervous.

Kimberly anxiously returned to the villa.

Suddenly, her heart skipped a beat when she saw Edward, who had been away for a long time, walk into the villa!

"Mr. Wellington, Mr. Wellington!"

Kimberly, sweating profusely and pale-faced, hurriedly ran up to Edward and blocked his way.

She had been a maid here for so many years and had never dared to speak to him proactively. This time, she didn't know where she got the courage to rush over like this.

Edward frowned slightly. "What is it?"

"I, I..." Kimberly hated herself for being useless; her tongue was tied at the critical moment!

"Take your time," Edward said calmly.

The old him would never have had this kind of patience, but now he had been completely softened by Evelyn, becoming more easygoing and humane inside and out.

Kimberly bit her lip hard, her face turning red.

Should she tell Edward now? Tell him that his mother Amanda was killed by Tiffany?

Would he believe her?

Kimberly took a step forward and, seeing no one around, quickly lowered her voice, "Mr. Wellington, tonight I will secretly meet with Ms. Taylor at a certain place. Can you come?"

Edward's pupils contracted deeply, and he leaned forward abruptly, "What did you say? Where are you going?"

"Kimberly! What are you doing?"

Suddenly, a sharp voice came from above.

Kimberly looked up abruptly and saw Debra's fierce face, which made her shudder!

Edward clearly noticed her abnormal behavior and thought that what she was hesitant to say might have something to do with Debra.

"Hurry up, I just got some clothes, and you need to sort them out quickly!" Debra urged impatiently.

"Yes, Ms. Wellington!"

Kimberly pressed her lips tightly together and looked at Edward with difficulty.

Edward took a step closer to her and said in a volume only the two of them could hear, "Later, I'll have Bart contact you. Give me the address where you're meeting Ms. Taylor tonight."

Kimberly quickly went to Debra's room, where a mountain of clothes awaited her to sort out.

Debra sat on the sofa with her legs crossed, sipping red wine and coldly staring at Kimberly's busy back.

"What did you just say to Edward?"

Kimberly felt like a knife was pressed against her back but forced herself to stay calm, "I just ran into Mr. Wellington and greeted him. He asked me to get a bottle of red wine from the cellar and bring it to his study later."

"Edward has so many servants around him, why would he need you?"

Debra sneered with a sinister look, "You wouldn't be harboring any inappropriate thoughts, trying to get close to him, would you? Do you think you're worthy of him?"

Kimberly felt relieved hearing these harsh words.

"Kimberly, you should know the relationship between Edward and me. If you go to him and say anything that gets back to me, watch out."

"Yes, I understand," Kimberly replied obediently.

Debra lazily leaned back on the sofa, "I'm going out tonight and might not come back."

Kimberly was secretly delighted!

She had been worried about finding an excuse to meet Evelyn tonight, and now the opportunity had finally come!

"You don't need to serve me tonight either. Go home early and rest; consider it a holiday from me." Debra waved her hand generously.

"Thank you, thank you, Miss Wellington."

Kimberly finished sorting the clothes and left the room.

As soon as the door closed, Debra's expression changed instantly. She took out her phone and called Tiffany.

"Mom, I deliberately gave that little bitch Kimberly the night off to see if she'd slip up! I just saw her secretly interacting with Edward, so she might be a spy he planted around me!"

"Slip up?" Tiffany's tone was unfriendly.

"Yes! Kimberly is just a maid; she wouldn't dare do such a thing without backing! This way, I can lure out the person behind her and see who is really against us!" Debra smiled insidiously, feeling proud of her scheme.

"Idiot! How did I give birth to such a fool like you!"

Instead, Tiffany scolded her harshly, "You're letting the tiger back into the mountain, do you know that? I told you to keep an eye on her, and you let her go to meet others?"

"Who else would be against us? It's either Edward or Evelyn! What if she secretly meets Evelyn tonight? If she leaks that matter, everything will be ruined!"

Debra was shocked and slapped her forehead, realizing her oversight!

"Tonight, Kimberly will definitely make a move."

Tiffany exhaled a breath, her voice chilling like a blade, "She can walk out of Riverside Villa, but once she does, she will never come back!"
