Chapter 495 "You'll know when the time comes."

Meanwhile, Edward not only had people secretly monitoring the maid who caused Amanda's death back then, but he also didn't alert her.

On the other hand, he completely blocked the news of Lloyd being released from prison for medical treatment, and the prisoner who attacked him was also under his control.

And today, Bart received a call from Ernest Bell.

"Mr. Wellington is indeed foresighted! In the past two days, someone has indeed been secretly inquiring about Lloyd's situation! According to Mr. Wellington's instructions, I have already leaked the news that Lloyd was attacked and killed!"

"Good, thank you for your hard work. Mr. Wellington will not treat you unfairly afterward."

Bart relayed the message to Edward.

Edward sat in his office, staring intently at the new screensaver on his phone. The screen showed a photo he secretly took of Evelyn sitting on the balcony without makeup, basking in the sun, when they were living together.

Edward's thin lips curled up indulgently as he gently caressed his lover's face with his fingertips.

"Mrs. Wellington is so beautiful, who wouldn't like her!" Bart, standing behind him, stretched his neck like a giraffe, his eyes shining as he stared at Evelyn's photo.

"Yes, she is truly beautiful."

Edward snapped out of his reverie, quickly put down his phone, and gave Bart a cold glance, "Who told you to look? Pull your head back."

Bart stood up straight, scratching his head awkwardly.

Edward asked indifferently, "What's the matter?"

'So, he didn't hear a word I said earlier!' Bart had no choice but to repeat himself.

Edward didn't react much after hearing it, as everything was under his control.

"Only by making Tiffany believe that Lloyd is dead will she let her guard down, thinking she's safe, and reveal more flaws."

Bart nodded vigorously, deeply agreeing.

After hesitating for a moment, he couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Wellington, since you miss Mrs. Wellington so much, why don't you go to Hameen to find her?"

"If you go to her, she will definitely come out to see you. I believe Mrs. Wellington misses you, too."

Edward's heart surged with burning longing, and he even had the impulse to go find Evelyn immediately.

But he restrained himself, gently shaking his head, "Forget it, she rarely gets to spend time with her family, and I don't want to selfishly take that away from her."

"Besides, if I go, it will inevitably alarm Mr. Taylor. I don't think Mr. Taylor wants to see me right now."

Seeing Edward's humble demeanor, Bart felt a pang in his heart but had nothing to say.

Edward, perhaps to comfort himself, took a deep breath, clenched his fist, and whispered, "It's okay, I have confidence that Evelyn and I will overcome all difficulties. We have a long future ahead."

Upon learning of Lloyd's death, Debra was so excited that she danced around the villa, scaring the maids who thought she and Tiffany had gone mad.

This great news, of course, she had to run to Tiffany to claim credit!

"Really? Is Lloyd really dead?"

Tiffany and Debra locked the bedroom door, not even daring to turn on the light, and talked excitedly in the dark.

"Dead! Ernest said it himself, it can't be wrong!"

"Good, very good!"

Tiffany held Debra's hand, stroking her palm, praising her repeatedly, "You are indeed the most sensible and capable! You did a great job with this. I really need to thank you!"

"Mom, do you remember what you promised me?" Debra asked in a cold voice.

Tiffany was silent in the dark for a moment, then walked to the bedside table, opened the drawer, took out a manila envelope, and threw it in front of her.

Debra immediately picked it up, holding it like a treasure, "Mom, what's this?"

"Take it home and see for yourself."

Not a minute more could she wait!

Debra jumped up and walked out the door without another word!

"Wait." Tiffany suddenly called her.

"Mom, is there anything else?"

"I really don't understand, what good does it do you to ruin Molly's marriage?"

Tiffany looked at her coldly, with disdain and confusion, "Just because Eric didn't choose you, you want to vent your anger? Even if you break them up, Eric won't choose you, and you won't get into the Clark family."

"You're right, I just want to vent my anger." Debra clenched the envelope, her mouth twitching, her features gradually becoming twisted, "Isn't life about fighting for dignity? What did I do wrong?"

The ones who were wrong were Molly and Eric!

Back in her room, Debra immediately took out the contents of the envelope.

It was a diagnosis report of Molly having autism and a mental illness!

Debra's eyes gleamed with a fierce light, and she laughed out loud.

This diagnosis report was top secret for the Wellington family!

If this diagnosis report fell into the hands of the Clark family, Molly marrying Eric would be a pipe dream!

Maurice only had Eric as a grandson, and he was his chosen heir. The future of the Clark Group depended on him, so how could he tolerate Eric's wife being a fool!

Debra was so excited that her hands trembled as she picked up her phone to call Jessica.

"What do you want now?" Jessica's lazy tone suggested she was probably doing a face mask.

Debra gritted her teeth and sneered, "Do you have time tomorrow? Come out, I have something to show you."

"Something that can completely shatter Molly's dream of marrying into a wealthy family!"

Jessica mocked her playfully, "You really never get tired of targeting your own sister, do you?"

"Although I hate Molly, I don't want you to marry into our family either. If you can target your sister so ruthlessly, what if you marry Eric and one day decide you don't like me? You'd go all out against me, too, and that scares me."

"Mutual feelings, your concerns are mine too. I'll take that as a compliment." Debra rolled her eyes.

"Whether Molly can get into the Clark family or not, I'm about to marry Edward."

Jessica hummed a tune, her mood extremely cheerful, "Get ready for the wedding gift."

"Are you really going to marry him? Edward is willing to marry you?" Debra was deeply skeptical.

"The horse race, you'll be there, right?" Jessica smiled mysteriously, "You'll find out then."
