Chapter 73 It Turned Out They Were Siblings!

A press conference instantly destroyed the elegant and noble image that Tiffany personally built for Debra for years.

That night, Debra was completely exhausted and was almost carried into Riverside Villa by the servants.

"Tiffany, you must help me seek revenge! You must help me vent my anger!" Debra cried heartbrokenly, completely losing her composure. "Now everyone online is criticizing me, I can't face anyone!"

"Vent your anger? How should I vent your anger? Should I go slap Edward, or should I force him to step down and give the CEO position to you, you the foolish?!"

Tiffany angrily pointed at Debra's tear-streaked face. "What did I tell you before you left? I told you to recite the script I prepared for you as is, absolutely no makeup on camera to show sincerity! But what did you do? You overturned my entire plan! The results are all your own choices, and now you come running to me to cry! It's useless! Even Patrick doesn't want to deal with you anymore!"

"Tiffany, I was wrong. I shouldn't have disobeyed you. I won't do it again in the future!" Debra knelt in front of Tiffany, crying, shaking Tiffany's leg. "Mom, although this incident is related to Edward, Lily is the real reason! If Lily hadn't been targeting me all along, how could I have ended up in this situation now!"

"Lily must be taught a lesson." Tiffany squinted, her eyes full of malicious scheming, "Byron Wellington's birthday is coming soon, and I'm already planning to teach Lily a lesson, to let you win against Lily once!"

"Mom! What are you planning to do?" Debra sniffled.

At the mention of dealing with Evelyn, Debra suddenly became spirited.

Tiffany crossed her arms, sneering, "You'll find out when the time comes."

At that moment, Debra's phone rang.

She picked it up and answered, then suddenly screamed, nearly giving Tiffany a heart attack.

"What are you yelling for at this late hour?!" Tiffany retorted.

"I'm going to kill that bitch, Lily Brown!" Debra shouted in anger, sounding like a manic patient.

Meanwhile, Tiffany's phone also rang. It was a call from Nicole. "What's wrong, Nicole?"

"Tiffany, I sent the photos to Debra earlier. I assume you've seen them too, right?" Nicole asked with concern.

"Photos?" Tiffany took Debra's phone and was shocked!

"While shopping at the mall with Edward today, I unexpectedly saw Lily Brown with Eric. They were very close. Anyone who saw them would think Lily and Eric were a couple. Not only that, Eric even gave Lily a super expensive sapphire necklace, which was originally meant for me from Edward, but Eric bought it and gave it to Lily."

Nicole sighed, "To me, it's just a necklace, but for Debra, it's a big deal, especially since Debra is supposed to marry Eric in the future, and now Lily Brown is interfering. She has become a stumbling block for Debra. How can this be allowed?"

"Lily can't survive a day without dating a man, right? Even dares to covet Eric?" Tiffany gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with malice. "Since Lily likes to have affairs so much, I'll let her have her fill!"

'Evelyn, you won't be arrogant for long. 'Tiffany said to herself.

Byron Wellington's birthday will be the time when Evelyn's reputation is ruined!

In the following three days, Edward was recuperating in the hospital.

Edward found it troublesome and didn't tell anyone about this matter. Even when Nicole called to visit Edward, he made excuses and didn't let Nicole come to the hospital.

Every night before falling asleep, Edward would recall the scene of him kissing Evelyn forcefully.

The soft touch of Evelyn still lingered faintly on his thin lips.

It was truly madness!

Edward swore, he would never have another encounter with Evelyn!

As the fourth day approached and Evelyn didn't come to visit Edward again, his anger surged once more.

'She is such a heartless and cruel woman!'

"Mr. Wellington, the doctor says you meet the discharge criteria and can go home to rest," Bart respectfully said, holding a brand-new high-end suit.

"Have you contacted Lily Brown?" Edward asked coldly.

"No."

"The man she knew almost killed me, is this matter just going to be forgotten?" Edward clenched his fists, his handsome face darkening. "I asked you to find the graduation album from the military academy I attended, have you found it?"

"I have!" Bart put down the suit and took out a huge navy-blue album from his briefcase, placing it in front of Edward.

Edward, with dark eyes, took it and began flipping through it from the beginning.

Edward remembered the night he fought with Ulysses, whose moves were similar to Edward's, and even though he wore a mask, his eyes and eyebrows were familiar. Edward knew he must have seen Ulysses before!

Edward had also attended the military academy, with strong investigative and observational skills. He covered the faces of the students in the photos with his hand, comparing them to the faces in his memory.

After an unknown amount of time, suddenly, Edward stood up, his eyes burning, startling Bart!

"Mr. Wellington, have you found something?" Bart asked.

"So, it's him?"

The man in the photo, dressed in a handsome military uniform, had a handsome face.

Below the name read: [Ulysses Brown].

"Lily Brown, Ulysses Brown, no wonder she is his most important woman. That's how it is!" Edward said.

Ulysses left a deep impression on him.

During their time at the academy, Ulysses and Edward were both well-known figures, and the only one who could compare to Edward at school was Ulysses.

Later, when Ulysses and Edward graduated, everyone went their separate ways, and Ulysses disappeared.

Edward's eyes gleamed, more excited about gradually uncovering the mystery of Lily Brown's background than discovering the true face of the assailant.

But as for Ulysses, Edward couldn’t find out more information because the military academy kept each student's information highly confidential.

But it didn't matter. Ulysses was Evelyn's brother, not some other man, which finally reassured Edward.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Bart hurried over to open it, then froze.

"Hello, Bart." William stood at the door with expensive gifts, politely smiling. "I'm following Ms. Brown's instructions to visit Mr. Wellington. Is Mr. Wellington awake?"

"Come in," Edward replied coldly.

Bart could curl his mouth and make way for William.

William walked in, casually placing the items on the table, hypocritically saying, "It seems Ms. Brown was right, Mr. Wellington. You are good to leave."

"Just you?" Edward glanced outside with a stern face.

Subconsciously, Edward still hoped to see Evelyn.

"Ms. Brown is busy helping Mr. Landon manage the hotel, so she doesn't have time to visit you. She sent me to visit you. I am her personal secretary, so it's the same," William said.

The first half of the sentence was added by William, not Evelyn.

It was to make Edward feel uncomfortable and to indirectly vent Evelyn's frustration.

Edward's face darkened as for sure. "I don't need insincere greetings like this. Take the things away."

"Ms. Brown said if you don't want them, just throw them away. Gifts she gives are never taken back," William said without changing his expression.

"Have Lily come see me." Edward stood up elegantly, his tall figure silhouetted against the light.

"Sorry, Mr. Wellington, Ms. Brown is too busy to see you. She has instructed me that all matters related to your compensation and follow-up will be handled by me.

"If you have any conditions, just tell me, as long as it doesn't involve harming lives, she will agree." William smiled like a robot.

"I want to see her," Edward said firmly.

"No."

"Then why are you talking so much crap here!" Bart couldn't bear it and stepped forward. "I can see you're here to cause trouble!"

William's smile at that moment seemed to say, 'You're right.'

"Tell Lily Brown to come see me." Edward's face darkened. "She must voluntarily reveal the man who attacked me. Otherwise, this matter will not be easily resolved."

"The legal team of the Wellington family in Mugden is indeed strong, but our KnightSpear Group's legal department is not bad either. If Mr. Wellington really wants to meet Ms. Brown in court before you get married, Mr. Landon won't just sit idly by."

Suddenly, William's eyes changed. "But I think, Mr. Wellington, as a successful businessman, should understand that entrepreneurs don't easily go to court."

After speaking, William bowed and was about to leave when he suddenly asked.

"Mr. Wellington, Ms. Brown was wondered that did you push for Debra's press conference?"

"This is a private matter of the Wellington family. It's none of your business." Edward's tone was cold.

"Alright, then I'll take my leave." William left with a smile.

"This is too much! This isn't a visit, it's clearly a provocation!" Bart gritted his teeth, wishing he could chase after William and scold him.

Edward took a deep breath. "Send a car to follow William right away, and inform me of his every move as soon as possible!"
