Chapter 489 Seeking a Chance for Regret

When Tiffany was at a loss, Debra came over and asked in a low voice, "Mom, are you worried about your health?"

"Debra, what should I do? I'm in such a terrible state right now!"

Tiffany slowly squatted down and sat on the ground, holding her head in pain. "Without that thing, I will be incontinent. Not only that, but I also suffer from insomnia, unable to sleep all night. My mind is a mess, and my ears are never quiet. The noise is driving me crazy!"

Auditory hallucinations, and, eventually, visual hallucinations would appear.

Everything was out of control, but as long as she injected the drug Percy gave her, all the symptoms would disappear.

Not only that, but she would also regain her energy and be in high spirits.

She couldn't live without that thing anymore, really couldn't.

"Mom, don't worry. I have an idea."

Debra whispered in her ear, "You can wear adult diapers at that time, and then there will be no problem at all!"

"Adult diapers?" Tiffany's face turned red with shame.

"Besides me, no one will know. Just use them. Dad has finally started to get along with you again. You must outshine everyone at this horse race, dress up beautifully, and win Dad's heart back!"

Yes, Debra was right.

Opportunities were rare, and Tiffany had to do her best to reconcile with Patrick!

"For now, this is the only way."

It was not like no adults wore them! As long as Debra didn't say anything, no one would know!

"Mom, can you do me a favor?" Debra took the opportunity to make a request.

"What do you want now?" Tiffany glared at her, feeling that Debra was becoming more difficult to deal with.

"Mom! Listen to me!"

Debra then exaggeratedly told her about the time the servant badmouthed her, she confronted them, and Patrick found out, leading to her being banned from attending the horse race.

"Mom! If I go to the horse race, I can look after you. Besides, many wealthy young men will be there. Don't you want me to marry into a wealthy family and help you in the future?"

Tiffany's expression darkened, and she slowly nodded. "Alright, I will try to persuade your dad to let you attend the horse race."

"My dear mom! You're the best!"

Debra threw herself into Tiffany's arms, but her eyes gleamed with a sinister light.

Evelyn finally decided to go home and say goodbye to Edward.

Moreover, everything was ready, and she needed to go back and plan a grand show.

That night, they took a hot bath together. Evelyn, wearing a bathrobe, sat in front of the mirror while Edward stood behind her, patiently blow-drying her shiny, smooth hair. As he dried her hair, his fingers gently massaged her scalp, helping her relax.

"You're really good at this." Evelyn squinted her beautiful eyes in pleasure, feeling so comfortable that her toes curled up. "Mr. Wellington, if you weren't a CEO, you could consider a career in massage. I would definitely hire you."

"It seems you're very satisfied with my service, Ms. Taylor."

Edward's fingers gently combed through her hair, bending down to kiss her delicate ear, trailing kisses down her neck, leaving a trail of blush in their wake.

"Can you give me a tip tonight?"

Evelyn blushed, the tingling sensation reaching her nerves, making her shiver.

She shrugged lightly, her voice soft with a hint of pleading, "Please let me go tonight. I have to leave early tomorrow."

"There are many things waiting for me at home. Don't exhaust me anymore; I'm almost suffering from back pain."

Edward's eyes curved in a charming smile, kissing her soft cheek. "Alright, then reward me when you come back."

They changed into pajamas and lay on the bed.

Evelyn skillfully turned over and rolled into Edward's arms, and he immediately held her.

"Evelyn."

"Yes?"

"When you're not too busy, can you make me another suit?" Edward asked tentatively.

He had always treasured the worn-out suit she made, not letting anyone touch it.

But he wanted to ask her for a new suit, symbolizing a fresh, perfect start with her.

"Do you really like the clothes I make?"

Evelyn blinked her bright eyes, scratching his chin with her finger. "I can make it for you, but if it doesn't suit your taste, don't force yourself to wear it. I don't want you to compromise for me, even if it's just a piece of clothing."

Edward's throat tightened, his eyes suddenly stinging.

He remained silent for a while, suppressing his emotions, and said hoarsely, "I've always liked it. I was just too stubborn and foolish to admit it or express it."

"Evelyn, I know I'm being greedy, but I still hope you can give me a chance to make up for my mistakes."

"It's not a big deal, just a piece of clothing." Evelyn's tone was light, not wanting to dwell on past grievances. "Once I'm done with this busy period, I'll make it for you."

Edward's eyes reddened, wanting to say something but unable to find the words.

So, he could only press her down, kissing her soft lips passionately.

The next morning, Landon sent a car to take Evelyn back to Hameen.

Edward wanted to see her off personally, but she insisted he rest well and wait for her to come home.

Edward watched the Rolls-Royce drive away, reluctant to leave.

Evelyn had only been gone for a few minutes.

He already missed her.

When Evelyn returned to Oasis Villa, Charlie was not home and wouldn't be back until the evening.

Donna, Joyce, and Susan were also not there, so she had to go to her room to catch up on sleep.

She slept until the afternoon and woke up to a call from Percy.

"Ms. Taylor, Tiffany did contact me."

Percy couldn't hide his excitement. "The last batch of drugs I gave Debra is finished. And as per your instructions, I didn't give her more immediately. I'm keeping her waiting."

"Will Tiffany experience incontinence as a withdrawal symptom without the drugs?" Evelyn stretched lazily.

"Yes, she will be incontinent."

Percy laughed coldly. "From what she said, her body is already struggling. It seems the physical reactions are quite severe."

"Also, she mentioned that she and Mr. Wellington will attend the Mugden horse race this weekend. She wants to meet me there to get the drugs."

"Oh? Patrick is being unusually lenient, letting her out?" Evelyn smirked coldly.

"They are still married, and Mr. Wellington is a man of reputation. Even if it's just for show, he will take Tiffany along."

"If it's a show, it needs some drama to be a good one."

Evelyn's eyes sparkled with a plan. "Percy, call Tiffany and agree to her request. Tell her you'll give her the drugs at the horse race."
