Chapter 475 Tiffany Must Be Informed

Adrian was sleeping so soundly that he was almost drooling.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes abruptly, as if he had had a nightmare, and his body sank sharply. Landon, who was sitting beside him, quickly supported him.

"How long did I sleep?" Adrian rubbed his sleepy eyes.

"About three hours."

Landon glanced sideways at his dazed expression, squinting slightly, "Did you have a dream?"

"Yeah, I dreamt that you were arguing with me. You scared me awake." Adrian stretched lazily.

"Is it really that hard for you to speak seriously?" Landon's tone became serious.

"As a doctor, I'm usually quite serious, but whenever I see you, it's hard for me to stay serious."

Adrian suddenly leaned in close, his long eyes shimmering, looking at him with a gaze that could melt, "So, Landon, who do you think is to blame for this? It's all your fault."

"Twisting words." Landon averted his gaze, slightly lifting the corner of his lips.

"Is this your first day knowing me? Don't you know that Adrian and women are both unreasonable?" Adrian's eyes were seductive, and he let out a light hum.

"No need to categorize. In my eyes, the only difference between you and a woman is physiological."

Landon rarely teased him in a light-hearted tone, "If you were really a girl, I would find you quite cute."

"Am I not cute now?" Adrian's eyes widened.

"Not cute."

Adrian was so angry that he wanted to hit him.

"Thanks for what you did for Edward."

Adrian froze, blinking his eyes.

"Thanks to your help, Edward was able to recover and wake up."

Landon took a deep breath. "You saved Edward, which means you saved Evelyn. This favor is not only owed by Edward but also by me."

"Every time this comes up, I get so angry!" Adrian frowned, angrily questioning, "Evelyn herself is a renowned doctor! You didn't let her operate on Edward and instead called me over to show off in front of my idol, making a fool of myself! And then none of you told me! Was it fun to trick me?"He thought about how he had been living under the same roof with his idol all this time, always challenging her.

Landon watched Adrian getting more and more agitated, so lively and vivid, just like a male version of Evelyn.

Unconsciously, a smile grew in his eyes, "I never intended to trick you. I invited you because I always believed that your medical skills are no less than Evelyn's. You just specialize in different fields."

Was that a compliment? Landon, usually so cold and reserved, reluctant to say more than a few words to him, actually complimented him today?

Adrian's cheeks turned red, and he bit his lip.

"Anyway, we owe you for this. Whatever it takes, I'll repay you."

"How do you plan to repay? With your body?" Adrian raised an eyebrow, staring at him intently.

"Adrian." Landon's tone carried a hint of seriousness.

Suddenly, Adrian swung his long leg over and boldly straddled his lap!

Landon's heart skipped a beat. "You!"

The two were face to face, with barely any distance between them, their breaths and heartbeats so clear.

Adrian's eyes were shimmering, his pupils truly beautiful, like those of a ragdoll cat.

"Didn't you say you'd repay me?"

The next moment, he wrapped his arms around Landon's neck, his moist lips inches away, "Let me kiss you, and we'll call it even."

Before Landon could respond, he kissed his lips passionately, his warm tongue slipping in, the heat intensifying.

As his thoughts sank, Landon's tense hand uncontrollably wrapped around Adrian's waist, looking out the window.

In the white clouds, he seemed to see brilliant fireworks bursting into the sky.

Over five hours later, the private jet landed smoothly in Mugden.

At the airport, the medical staff arranged by Landon were ready to take Edward to the hospital.

"No need, I don't need to be hospitalized anymore." Edward firmly refused.

"You, how can you do this?" Evelyn was furious, her eyes red, "You promised to go to the hospital for treatment, you liar!"

Edward sighed helplessly, stepping forward to tightly embrace Evelyn, "Evelyn, I was wrong. You can hit me, scold me, just please don't ignore me."

"I'm ignoring you! Liar! Hmph!" Evelyn squirmed in his arms, turning her face away.

Landon and the others couldn't help but laugh.

Seeing that she was genuinely a bit angry, Edward pondered for a moment, his expression becoming serious, "Evelyn, the most important thing right now is to interrogate Lloyd."

At the mention of Lloyd, Evelyn's eyes darkened.

"Now that Lloyd has been brought back, Tiffany doesn't know yet. If she doesn't know, she won't have time to interfere and come up with a strategy."

"So we must get his confession quickly. We need him to admit that Tiffany hired him to kill Kimberly."

"But will he confess?" Evelyn was full of worry, her delicate brows furrowed, "Murder is a capital crime. He knows he can't escape. Confessing won't benefit him at all, and it won't reduce his sentence."

"Moreover, if he wants to spite us before he dies, he will definitely take the blame for Tiffany. If we can't get to Tiffany, it will be like giving him a final victory."

Everyone's expressions turned somber at her words.

Evelyn's analysis was spot on. A ruthless criminal like Lloyd wouldn't have any conscience left. Don't expect him to testify!

"So, what do we do? Are we really out of options?" Eric was indignant.

Edward pondered deeply, then suddenly smiled, "If that's the case, then we need to make sure Tiffany knows that Lloyd is in our hands."

Evelyn immediately understood Edward's implication, excitedly hugging him tightly, her ample chest pressing against him, happily rubbing against him, "You're so bad!"

Edward was aroused by her, his eyes turning red.

"Um, you guys go handle Lloyd. I need to go. I've been away from home for too long. Molly is waiting for me. I need to go home and be with Molly."

Eric said as he waved and backed away, "I'm leaving first! You guys hang in there! Justice will prevail! Go team! Go team!"

In a flash, he was gone.

Everyone was silent.

"The Mays family's hospital is quite authoritative in neurology. Maybe Mr. Clark should go there for a check-up? Mention my name for a discount." Adrian crossed his arms, lightly bumping into Landon.

Landon stood tall, glancing at him without a word, allowing him to make his little moves.

Evelyn and Edward nodded enthusiastically, "Sounds good to me!"
