Chapter 404 She is the Culprit!

Late night, Riverside Villa.

Debra had just taken a bath, changed the dressing on the scars from her cosmetic surgery, and was about to have some red wine.

"Kimberly? Kimberly!"

Debra shouted twice, and the maid Kimberly quickly ran in, "I'm here, Miss Wellington."

Ever since Evelyn assigned her the job of being a spy, she had been trying every possible way to get close to Tiffany and Debra to gain their trust.

Although she knew Tiffany was naturally suspicious and wouldn't trust anyone, Debra was much less cunning than Tiffany, making it easier to get close to her.

So she flattered Debra and worked tirelessly, which allowed her to serve Debra.

Otherwise, as a lowly maid who had worked for Molly, Debra would have kicked her out of Riverside Villa. How else could she complete the task Evelyn had given her?

"Go to the wine cellar and bring me a good bottle of wine."

Debra applied a face mask to her surgically altered face and lazily said, "If you bring me a cheap wine, I'll deduct your entire month's salary."

"Yes, Miss Wellington."

Kimberly responded repeatedly and turned to go find red wine for Debra.

These days, Debra always found ways to make her life difficult over trivial matters.

She knew Debra was using her as a punching bag because she used to work for Molly.

But it didn't matter; she could endure all the bullying.

She believed that one day, Evelyn would deal with Tiffany and Debra.

Debra suddenly realized she had left her phone in the starry sky cinema on the third floor, so she stomped her foot in frustration and thought about sending Kimberly to get it.

She couldn't live without her phone for even a minute, but since Kimberly was in the wine cellar, she had to get it herself.

She walked out of the room with her face mask on.

After walking for a while, she suddenly saw a shadow flash by!

Debra screamed in fright, almost dropping her face mask on the floor.

Just a few steps away, a woman with a pale face and messy hair appeared like a ghost in the dimly lit hallway, the terror level maxed out!

Debra looked closely and, while relieved, was also shocked.

"Mom? Is that you?"

Tiffany, hunched over and tightly wrapped in a cashmere coat, looked at Debra through her disheveled hair.

Debra was stunned to see the usually elegant and refined Tiffany looking so disheveled!

She hadn't seen Tiffany since the last party, but how could she have changed so much in such a short time?

Tiffany immediately ran towards Debra, grabbed her arm, and dragged her to the room.

"Mom, what's wrong? My arm hurts! Mom!"

"Shut up! Don't make a sound!"

Tiffany glared at Debra fiercely, making her too scared to speak.

They returned to the room.

Tiffany looked around suspiciously and, after confirming no one was outside, locked the door.

"Mom, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Debra asked nervously.

Tiffany sat on the sofa, shivering. Even though she was in a warm room, she still looked very cold, refusing to take off her thick coat.

"Debra, I said something wrong tonight."

"Did you say something wrong? What did you say?" Debra looked puzzled.

"I went for another cosmetic treatment tonight. Percy gave me an injection, saying it would make me feel more relaxed than the previous medication."

Tiffany held her head in her hands, her eyes filled with anxious panic. "After the injection, I felt very relaxed and fell asleep.

When I woke up, Percy asked me who Amanda was!"

Debra gasped, her skin crawling with goosebumps!

"Mom, what did you say? Who is this Percy? How could you respond to questions about Amanda?"

Debra knew the true cause of Edward's mother Amanda's death.

Tiffany was the main culprit behind Amanda's suicide!

She had cleverly bribed Amanda's caretakers, replaced her depression medication, and spread rumors through Nicole and Debra.

This ultimately worsened Amanda's condition, leading her to jump to her death, unable to bear the mental and physical torment.

Tiffany's hands were clean of blood, yet she had eliminated her greatest rival.

This was Tiffany's proudest achievement, but she could never boast about it!

"I don't know, I don't know how much I said, I don't know what I told him."

Tiffany's eyes were still unfocused, her voice trembling, "But Percy swore to me that he would keep everything he heard a secret, that he would never reveal it!"

"Mom! How could you be so foolish? Percy isn't your son; what if he tells someone? What if he blackmails you later?" Debra was shocked.

What shocked her even more was the medication Tiffany was taking.

What kind of drug could make someone reveal long-hidden secrets unconsciously?

At that moment, Debra heard a faint noise.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she glanced towards the bedroom, then tiptoed to the bedroom door.

At the door, she suddenly pushed it open!

But the room was empty, not a single person inside.

Debra let out a long sigh of relief, her forehead covered in sweat.

What Tiffany had told her was too serious; if someone overheard, they would be finished.

"No, he's my man; he won't betray me!" Tiffany kept shaking her head, but she was unsure.

But what could she do? She was completely dependent on Percy now.

Both mentally and physically, she had developed a strong dependence on Percy.

"Mom, I'm your daughter; I would never harm you. Listen to me."

Debra sat down next to Tiffany, gripping her cold hand tightly, "You should avoid seeing Percy for a while. He must have some ulterior motive!"

"As for Amanda's death, everyone who knows the secret must take it to the grave! As long as he lives, he's a deadly threat to you!"

"No, it's been almost twenty years; the evidence is long gone!"

Tiffany shivered, her spine cold, as she burrowed into Debra's arms, "Unless that bitch Amanda comes back to life to accuse me, no one knows what really happened to her!"

"How can you say that? There's still Nicole!"

"She's nothing! Just a discarded pawn! If she ever wants to return to Mugden, she better keep her mouth shut!"
