Ivy wanted to get rid of Ashley.
But she knew Ethan loved Ashley, so she had to create drama between them.

"Felicity, you need to win my son's heart. Get pregnant, and I'll make sure Ethan marries you."
"I'll do my best, Aunt," Felicity said, her face flushed.
She lowered her eyes, hiding a sly look.
They went back to the dining table, where Ethan was doting on Ashley.
"Honey, I can eat other dishes. You don't need to pick out the fish bones."
"Vegetables aren't enough. Fish is nutritious. Eat more."
He carefully picked out the bones and fed her.
Ashley felt incredibly happy. "Thanks, Honey."
The more Ivy saw their affection, the more it hurt.
Ivy called out, "Everyone, don't just eat. There are drinks and wine. Help yourselves."
Felicity, seeing everyone drinking, took a sip of the drink and secretly spat it out.
An hour later, dinner was over. Landon and Liam stood up.
Landon said, "Ashley, Ethan, we'll head back now."
Ethan nodded, and Ashley said, "Be careful on your way back."
"Okay."
As they were leaving, Liam felt dizzy and almost fell.
Landon caught him but felt dizzy too.
"Landon, I feel dizzy."
"Me too," Landon said, rubbing his temples.
Ethan frowned. "What's going on? Could it be the food?"
Ivy panicked. "No way. It's probably the wine. Why don't you stay in our guest rooms tonight?"
Felicity, worried about Landon leaving, was thinking of an excuse when Ashley said, "Yeah, you just had some drinks, so you can't drive. Why don't you stay here tonight?"
Landon and Liam looked at each other, feeling another wave of dizziness.
"Sorry for the trouble."
"No trouble. I'll arrange your rooms. Felicity, you should stay too."
Felicity nodded. "Okay."
Samantha, seeing it was late, said, "Ashley, we haven't finished our business. I'll stay tonight, and we can continue tomorrow."
"What business?" Ethan asked.
Samantha quickly said, "The Yates Group's jewelry design..."
Ashley pretended to cough, reminding her.
"Ashley is interested in design, so we were discussing it."
"Alright, Mom, please arrange it."
Ethan rubbed his temples. "This wine is strong. I'm feeling dizzy."
Ivy quickly agreed. "Yes, it's imported. Everyone should rest."
"Ethan, let's go to our room."
"Okay, everyone, make yourselves at home."
Everyone nodded, and Ethan pushed Ashley back to their bedroom.
Everyone went to their rooms and fell asleep quickly.
"Felicity, I've told the servants to leave. Hurry and follow the plan..."
