Chapter 62 Why are you crying?
Ashley had no clue a villager had recorded her visit and posted it online.

When Ava got back to the Whites house, she found Liam sprawled on the couch, eyes glued to his phone. She snuck up behind him, covered his eyes, and teased, "Guess who?"
"Ava!"
She pressed her chest against his back, her mind racing with girlish fantasies as she admired his handsome face. Luckily, no one else was around to see.
"Well, that was too boring. You guessed right away."
Liam pulled her down to sit next to him.
"Ava, you were on a plane all day. Aren't you tired?"
Ava shook her head, her eyes catching the video on Liam's phone. "Liam, I'm not tired. Are you watching the news? That woman who tried to seduce my boyfriend found her real parents and then looked down on them for being poor. How shameless."
Liam frowned. "Ava, we don't know the whole story. Let's not jump to conclusions."
Ava lowered her head, her bangs hiding the cold, malicious look in her eyes.
Liam was defending Ashley. Did they know something?
"By the way, Ava, when you were little, Landon and I were studying abroad. We only saw you on video calls, but Mom mentioned you have a birthmark behind your ear and a red mole on your collarbone. Can I see?"
Ashley had the same birthmarks in the exact spots!
Ava's heart skipped a beat, her lips trembled, and panic flashed in her eyes.
But Liam was too focused on his phone to notice.
"Liam, even though we're siblings, you can't just look at those places. I've been on a plane all day; I'm going to bed."
The old couple who claimed to be Ashley's parents were actors Ava had hired. That day, she rushed to the hospital and saw Ethan and Ashley being affectionate. She also noticed the red mole on Ashley's collarbone.
Later, she secretly observed that Ashley also had a birthmark behind her ear.
She didn't expect them to know about Ashley's birthmarks. She had to find a way to throw him off.
"Alright."
Liam watched her leave, then called over a maid.
"Take something to Miss White's room and secretly check if she has a birthmark and a red mole behind her ear and on her collarbone."
"Yes, Mr. White."
At the corner of the second floor, Ava, who had heard everything, had a cold, malicious look in her eyes.
Liam was onto her!
She snorted and headed back to her room.
A moment later, a maid knocked on the door with a tray. Ava waited over ten minutes before responding, "Come in."
"Ms. White, Mr. White asked me to bring you some fruit."
"Just put it there."
Ava smirked as she casually changed clothes in front of the maid, revealing the red birthmark on her collarbone.
The maid glanced at it and asked, "Ms. White, do you need help changing?"
"Sure."
Ava turned around, and the maid helped her dress. While combing her hair, the maid saw the birthmark behind her ear.
After the maid left, Ava stood in front of the mirror, wiping off the makeup that had created the birthmark and red mole. She coldly muttered, "Makeup can fool them for now, but it's not a long-term solution. If I could somehow transfer that bitch's birthmark and red mole to myself..."
Ava's lips curled into a sinister smile, her expression terrifying.
Living Room.
After hearing the maid's report, Liam was half-convinced. "Are you sure what you saw matches my description exactly?"
The maid nodded firmly.
Liam waved his hand. "You can go now. I'll have the butler give you a bonus."
Rubbing his temples due to a headache, Liam wondered, 'Am I just overthinking things?'
Liam, feeling a headache from thinking, decided to stop. He called Ava. "Ava, Landon and I have set a date to announce your identity. Tomorrow, you will go with us to the hospital to visit our parents."
"Okay, Liam."
Ava smiled smugly. After all these days, the brothers were finally taking her to meet their parents.
This meant they trusted her!
"The money for the last thing you helped me with has been transferred to you. I need you to do something else for me..."
Rocky Mountains.
Tom and Ella lived in a decrepit house that appeared as though it could crumble at any given moment. The wind was blowing through all sides, and there was no decent furniture.
Seeing this, Ashley felt inexplicably sad.
"Ashley, have a seat. I'll get you some water."
Ashley opened her mouth, about to tell Tom not to bother, but Ella enthusiastically said, "Dear, are you worried about getting your clothes dirty? I'll clean the chair right away."
Ella grabbed a cloth to wipe the chair, but Ashley stepped forward and grabbed her hand. "Mom, you don't need to do this. I don't mind the dirt."
Seeing the condition of their home, Ashley felt both sad and guilty. She was ashamed of her previous indifference.
Ashley sat down, and Tom Parker brought her a cup of hot water in a metal cup.
The cup was so old that it was rusted inside and out. Seeing this, Ashley felt as if a knife had stabbed her heart, causing immense pain.
She lowered her head, and a tear fell into the water with a 'plop.'
"Ashley, why are you crying?"
