Chapter 47 Amazing or Terrifying?
Ashley grabbed a pair of scissors, cut the tablecloth into the right shape, folded it into pleats, and sewed it with needle and thread. She then adorned the fabric with fresh flowers in an irregular pattern.
She put it on, and the stain on her chest was completely hidden. The plain tablecloth and flowers, transformed by her skillful hands, turned into a stunning fairy dress that looked both understated and elegant.
When Edina and Sophie came out in their new clothes and saw her, their jaws nearly hit the floor. The people around couldn't help but give Ashley a thumbs up.
As Ashley were sewing, someone pulled out their phone and began recording a video.
"Who would've thought she could turn a plain tablecloth and some flowers into a fairy outfit? It's amazing!" a female soldier next to Kelsey exclaimed.
Kelsey looked at her with admiration and stepped forward. "Mrs. Yates, your performance was wonderful. Do you design clothes?"
Ashley replied, "Your Majesty, I'm sorry. I got a stain on my dress and didn't have a spare, so I had to improvise. I only know a little about fashion design."
"Really?" Kelsey looked at her dress and said, "Why don't you add some materials to my gown?"
"Emm..." Ashley had only intended to cover the stain on her chest, but she didn't expect Kelsey to make such a request.
Edina said sourly, "Your Majesty, she just got lucky. This gown of yours is worth millions. If she ruins it, she can't afford to pay for it. I think it's better to forget it."
