Ethan rushed over and gently held Ashley's shoulder as she bent down, helping her sit properly.
"Stay put, I'll handle it."
His voice was low and husky. He then bent down to pick up the scattered items.
"Thanks, Ethan."
Ashley's heart fluttered.
She was touched by his kindness but also worried he'd ask why everything had fallen.
She watched him pick up the items. It was such a simple act, but he did it so gracefully.
Without realizing it, Ashley's eyes sparkled with affection.
"By the way, why were you gone so long?"
Luckily, he came back late. If he'd seen her breakdown, she'd be mortified.
Ethan stood up and said, "I thought you might get hungry during training, so I bought a bunch of snacks. See if there's anything you like."
He placed several plastic bags on the table, filled with drinks, chips, chocolate, and more.
Ashley chuckled, "Did you buy the whole snack aisle?"
"Pretty much."
He added, "I wasn't sure what you liked, so I got one of everything. What do you want? I'll open it for you."
Ashley eyed him suspiciously, "Why are you being so nice? Are you hiding something?"
He'd always been kind, but this was different...
He bought her every snack, a testament to his love and care.

Ethan smirked and teased, "I do want to do something bad, but now's not the time."

"Besides, does a husband need a reason to spoil his wife?"

"Ashley, what do you want to eat?"
She looked at the snacks and said, "Chips, I guess."
"Alright."
Ethan grabbed a bag of chips, but in his eagerness, spilled a bunch, even getting some on his white shirt, staining it.
Ethan, being a clean freak, couldn't stand it.
Ashley suggested, "Oh no, Ethan, your shirt's dirty. Maybe ask Diannel to send you a new one?"
Ethan smiled and shrugged it off, "It's fine. Here, open your mouth, I'll feed you."
Ashley gave him a weird look.
"Aren't you a clean..."
Before she could finish, Ethan fed her a chip.
"If you keep talking, I'll feed you with my mouth."
Ashley’s eyes widened, and she quickly shook her head. "No, I won't say anything."
Despite finding his behavior odd, she enjoyed his gentle care.
"Come on, have some more."
Ashley nodded, opened her mouth, and enjoyed his attentive service.
Their sweet moment made others envious. People around them whispered.
"This couple is so loving."
"If my man were half as considerate as her husband, I'd be over the moon."
