Ivy was on edge. Suddenly, her phone rang. She grabbed it, her hands shaking. "How did it go? Is that woman taken care of?"
"Ma'am, I was too late. She got kidnapped!"
"Kidnapped?"
Ivy's eyes sparkled. "So, someone else wants her gone. Even better, my son won't suspect me!"
She had hired someone to kill Ashley, but someone else had beaten her to it!
"Find the kidnappers and offer them more money to finish the job!"

Landon and Liam were at the hospital, looking after Ava.
When Ava woke up, she burst into tears. "Landon, Liam, why did you save me? Just let me die..."
"Ava, what's so great about Ethan? Don't put all your eggs in one basket!"
"No, I won't marry anyone but him. Landon, Liam, if you don't help me, just let me die."
Ava cried, threw a fit, and even threatened to hang herself.
The two brothers were at their wits' end.
"Ava, stop crying. We'll figure something out. We'll make sure Ethan marries you."
"Landon, Liam, thank you. It's so good to have you..."
Little did they know, someone outside was eavesdropping on their entire conversation.
After calming Ava down, the brothers left the room.
Liam said, "Landon, how are we supposed to help? The guy's already married. Are we supposed to force him to get a divorce? This is nuts."
Landon sighed. "She's our only sister. If she acts out, we have to indulge her."
Landon said, "Contact the media and leak that the president of the Yates Group had an affair with Ms. White during his marriage. Mrs. Yates faked a pregnancy to secure her position and deceived Mr. Yates. After the divorce, Mr. Yates will marry Ms. White."
Liam advised, "Bro, this isn't right. Ruining someone's marriage isn't what a decent person would do!"
"Leave this to me. I'll handle it for Ava."
With that, Landon walked away.
Liam sighed and went back to check on Ava.
Ava didn't notice Liam standing by the door. She looked at a photo of Ethan on her phone, her eyes filled with obsessive madness. "Ethan, I will win you back!"
Liam was shocked.
He had never imagined that his sweet and gentle sister could have such a dark and vicious side.
Maybe they never really knew Ava at all!
Ashley fumbled around and finally found the key on Chris.
"I think I just heard the young master's voice!"
"Could something have happened? Let's go in and check!"
Ashley's eyes darkened. She hid the key on her body and pretended to faint beside Chris.
Two people came in and saw Ashley and Chris unconscious, with a pool of blood on the floor. They exclaimed in shock.
"Something's wrong! The young master is covered in blood, and this woman is unconscious too!"
"Go get Dr. Young."
Dr. Young was Chris's private doctor.
Both of them were carried out. During the process, Ashley secretly opened her eyes and observed her surroundings.
The place was luxuriously decorated and brightly lit, clearly a residence of wealthy people.
When did Chris become so rich?
While she was puzzled, Ashley was placed on a soft bed. The doctor examined her, and she heard him say, "The patient has had a miscarriage scare. The baby might not survive..."
"No, the baby must survive!"
Ashley sat up in agitation.
"You're awake?"
The doctor said, "You're having minor bleeding. If not treated promptly, the fetus won't survive."
Ashley's eyes lit up. "Doctor, please, this is my first child with my husband. You have to help me save it. I'll do anything you ask."
The doctor sighed and looked at the servant beside him.
The servant said, "Dr. Young, Mr. Scott is awake. He wants to speak with you."
Ashley's heart sank. Once Chris woke up, he would definitely retaliate and refuse to save her baby!
