Chapter 67 Occasionally, Men Can Be Dramatic

"Thanks, Ashley."

Ashley squeezed her hand. "No need to thank me, but you gotta promise not to tell anyone I'm Elisa."

Sienna looked confused. "Why hide it? It's something to be proud of."

Ashley just smiled, staying silent.

Sienna didn't push it. "Alright, your secret's safe with me."

Ashley hugged her. "Thanks a lot."

"That's more like it. Sienna, you're strong and capable. Focus on your career, and when you make money, you can spoil a few handsome male models and make that jerk jealous!"

Pauline poured a glass of wine and two drinks. "Ladies, let's toast."

The three of them raised their glasses. "Cheers!"

After downing her drink, Pauline said, "It's no fun drinking alone."

"Well, both of us are pregnant."

Ashley and Sienna exchanged a smile and looked at Pauline.

Pauline felt a chill under their gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Sienna said, "Pauline, you're not getting any younger. We've both gotten married and had kids. Why haven't you found a boyfriend yet?"

Ashley chuckled. "Do you like women?"

"You don't have a crush on one of us, do you? Don't get any funny ideas."

Ashley was, of course, joking.

Pauline rolled her eyes. "One of you had a contract marriage, and the other is about to get divorced. What right do you have to talk to me? My sexual orientation is normal. I just want to stay single and fabulous, not follow in your footsteps!"

Pauline's annoying words made Ashley and Sienna exchange a look.

"Pauline, you make us want to punch you!"

Ashley and Sienna both lunged at her, playfully beating her up.

The three friends playfully fought in the private room, but the atmosphere was warm and cozy...

11 p.m.

"It's getting late, Sienna. Why don't you stay at my place?"

Sienna nodded. "Lily is still at home. I need to go back and get her."

"I'll drive you there."

"Okay."

Pauline went back to the studio first, while Ashley drove Sienna back to the Weiss residence.

The Weiss Residence.

When Sienna got home, Nathan was sitting on the couch smoking, his eyes deep and unreadable.

When the door opened, he knew who it was without turning around.

Although Nathan was in his thirties, his handsome face had gained a touch of mature steadiness, and his profile was strikingly attractive.

"You're back?"

His voice was devoid of any emotion.

Sienna's heart ached, but she kept her cool. "I'm here to get Lily. A lawyer will bring you the divorce papers tomorrow."

She turned and walked to the bedroom, deliberately slowing her steps, hoping he'd ask her to stay. But he stayed silent, making her heart ache even more.

Sienna covered her mouth, holding back tears, and went to find Lily.

"Sienna."

Nathan's voice made her back stiffen. Maybe he would ask her to stay.

"Lily's asleep. I'll have the maid bring her to you tomorrow."

Sienna fought back tears and went to get her documents.

When she came out, she had composed herself and left without a word.

After years of marriage, she thought Nathan would at least try to keep her, but he didn't offer any explanation, making her lose hope completely.

Nathan watched her get into Ashley's car. After Ashley settled Sienna, she happened to lock eyes with Nathan.

In that moment, she seemed to see panic and reluctance in Nathan's eyes.

Ashley thought, after all, they had been together for at least a decade. Breaking up so suddenly would surely leave some regret.

"Sienna, let me talk to him for a moment."

Sienna, lost in her thoughts, didn't hear Ashley.

Ashley sighed and approached Nathan.

"Nathan, you've been with Sienna for over a decade. Are you really going to let her go?"

Nathan's gaze shifted past her to Sienna sitting in the car.

"What do you think I should say?"

Ashley frowned slightly. "Shouldn't you apologize or ask her to stay?"

Nathan gave a self-deprecating smile. "Ashley, you've seen us from dating to marriage. You know how much I've given over these ten years, but she doesn't trust me!"

Nathan's eyes dimmed. "Maybe she never loved me!"

Ashley was shocked. "What nonsense are you talking about? If she didn't love you, would she have dated, married, and had children with you?"

"She saw you buying intimate apparel with your ex-girlfriend. It's true you lied to her! Nathan, Sienna is my best friend. You really let her down. I'm so disappointed in you."

"You better not hurt her again, or I won't let you off!"

Leaving those words, Ashley turned and left.

Nathan watched them leave. The butler appeared out of nowhere and asked, "Mr. Weiss, are you really going to divorce Mrs. Weiss? Don't you love her very much?"

Nathan gave a bitter smile. "Too bad she doesn't love me!"
