Chapter 400 Reversal

Ethan's lips curled into a smile as he saw George arrive with the evidence.

His final show of trust hadn't been misplaced after all—George had indeed brought the crucial proof to incriminate Josselin!

Though not brilliant, George had been cautious during his collaboration with Josselin, keeping backups of all their dealings. With Ethan's evidence serving as primary verification, George's documentation provided the conclusive secondary confirmation.

The host projected all the evidence onto a large screen, shocking the audience, who began hurling insults at Josselin.

Josselin knew he was finished.

George turned to Ethan, a renewed smile brightening his face. "Ethan, I was such a fool before. I hope this makes amends."

Ethan smiled, clapping him on the shoulder. "Good to have the real George back."

The two exchanged smiles, sharing a perfect moment of reconciliation.

Josselin's face contorted with rage at the sight.

A police officer approached. "Sir, you're wanted for questioning regarding financial crimes. Please come with us."

Unwilling to accept defeat, Josselin shoved the officer aside at the last moment and shouted, "Don't look so smug, Ethan! Call off these cops, or you'll regret what I do next!"

Ethan regarded him with contempt. "You're just a criminal now. What position are you in to negotiate?"

Josselin erupted into maniacal laughter. "A criminal? You're no better than I am!"

He screamed, "Listen, everyone! Ethan isn't even a true Yates by blood! You're nothing but your mother's illegitimate son—James was never your father!"

Doris's expression faltered. As she was about to speak, Ethan squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, silently urging her to stay calm.

"Ethan is a bastard!" Josselin's revelation sent the reception into chaos.

Reporters swarmed forward with questions.

"Josselin, is it true that Ethan isn't a blood Yates?"

"Do you have proof of these allegations?"

When Josselin had first claimed Ethan wasn't a true Yates, Ethan had narrowed his eyes dismissively, taking it as desperate flailing.

However, facing the press, Josselin declared with conviction, "Absolutely. I have a paternity test showing Ethan and James have no biological connection!"

"Mr. Yates, were you aware of this?"

"Ms. Jones, did you know about this?"

The reporters turned their questions to Ethan and Doris. Though pale, Doris maintained her composure, while Ethan remained characteristically unfazed.

Doris looked toward Ethan. "Ethan..."

"He's just creating drama before his arrest," Ethan responded coolly. "None of this is true. Officers, please remove him."

Ethan signaled to the police officers—friends sent by his ally Ryan.

The officers stepped forward and restrained Josselin. "Come with us!"

"Let go!" Josselin struggled against them. "What I'm saying is true! I have the reports to prove it!"

"Take him away," Ethan commanded.

Despite his protests, Josselin couldn't escape—his crimes had been exposed, and legal punishment awaited him.

Just as they were about to leave, a masked woman suddenly appeared. "Wait!"

The already information-packed reception now had another surprise guest.

The crowd exchanged bewildered glances. "Who is that?"

The woman announced, "I have two reports here: one confirming Ethan is not James's biological son, and another proving Ashley is not John's daughter. As you can see from the results, they are both illegitimate children!"

Everyone was stunned.

Liam recognized her voice immediately. "Ethan, it's Felicity!"

Ethan narrowed his eyes, radiating cold fury.

He could tolerate accusations against himself, but not against Ashley.

A reporter took the reports from Felicity and gasped, "My God, it's true! Ethan isn't a blood Yates, and Ashley isn't the White heiress. What's going on here?"

The crowd was completely shocked.

Liam's eyes betrayed his guilt. "Ethan, what do we do?"

Liam had never told anyone that he'd secretly switched Ashley's DNA results, but somehow Felicity knew Ashley wasn't a true White. He never imagined this information would become public in such a way, and he felt deeply ashamed.

A reporter pressed, "Mr. Yates, what's your response to these revelations about your and your wife's true identities?"

Ethan gave a cold laugh. "These are fabricated reports from known criminals. If you believe them, you must be intellectually challenged."

He then turned to the officers. "Please take Ms. Zito into custody as well."
