Chapter 66 A Fair Competition
"Sienna, stop crying. Where are you? I'll come get you right now."
Sienna gave an address, and Ashley turned to Tom and Ella. "Mom, Dad, I need to head out for a bit. You two relax, and if you need anything, just call the staff."
"Alright, go ahead."
Before leaving, Ashley worried since it was their first time at the hotel. She spoke to the staff, gave them a tip, and asked them to keep an eye out and call her if anything came up.
After that, she drove off to find Sienna.

Sienna was in a private room, drowning her sorrows in food, eating like there was no tomorrow.
She was eating and crying at the same time. When she started choking, she grabbed a bottle of beer. Just as she was about to take a sip, Ashley burst in and shouted, "Sienna, what are you doing!"
She rushed over and snatched the beer away. "You have a baby in your belly. How can you drink alcohol!"
Sienna hugged her and cried bitterly, "Ashley, he betrayed our marriage. I hate him so much!"
Ashley held her tightly, feeling heartbroken. "Sienna, could there be some misunderstanding? Nathan loves you so much. How could he cheat?"
Sienna said, "I saw it with my own eyes. He was out shopping for lingerie with his first love. I even called him to ask where he was, and he said he was working late at the office. He lied to me!"
Ashley opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
She never expected Nathan to be that kind of person. Empathizing with Sienna, she was filled with anger and hatred, and she felt that all of Sienna's efforts over the years were not worth it.
Ashley hugged Sienna tightly, stroking her back, and comforted her, "If Nathan dares to betray you, then he's blind and heartless. Sienna, if you don't want to forgive him, you can take Lily and come live with us, okay?"
Lily was their daughter.
Sienna was crying so hard she couldn't speak. At this moment, another person walked into the room and overheard Ashley's words.
"Of course, you can't forgive him. Sienna, I've told you before not to give up your career to be a housewife. Living off someone else not only makes you dependent but also a doormat. If you can forgive your man for cheating, then you have no backbone and deserve to be bullied!"
The speaker was Pauline.
"Pauline, can't you just comfort her properly first?"
Sienna sobbed, "Nathan has been generous to me all these years..."
"And you're still speaking up for him? Sienna, isn't having a career better? Why let a man ruin your career?"
Pauline plopped down next to them, saying firmly, "Sienna is incredibly talented in design. If she hadn't gotten into a relationship and married early, she would've been a fierce competitor to you."
Ashley and Sienna were both naturally gifted designers. They had met through competition but ended up becoming close friends instead of rivals.
Pauline teased, "Ashley, you wouldn't be secretly hoping to keep Sienna and Nathan together so you'd have one less competitor, would you?"
Hearing this, Ashley and Sienna playfully ganged up on her.
"Why are you hitting me!"
She got a few playful punches from the two friends, but it was all in good fun.
Ashley and Sienna almost said in unison, "It serves you right!"
Pauline shrugged, "Can't you tell I was joking?"
Ashley said seriously, "If you keep joking around, I'll really hit you."
Pauline said sourly, "Fine, you two are true love, and I'm just an outsider."
She amused Sienna.
Ashley asked, "Sienna, Pauline is right. You are a very talented designer. If you don't mind, you can come to work at our studio. After all..."
Ashley didn't finish her sentence.
Sienna thought for a moment, "You're right. If Nathan and I end up in a divorce battle, and I don't have a stable income, he will definitely fight for Lily's custody. I will never let Lily call someone else 'Mom'!"
Ashley and Pauline both nodded.
Ashley asked, "So, do you agree to join our company?"
Sienna composed herself and said, "Ashley, would you be mad if I said no?"
Ashley smiled gently, "I respect your choice."
Sienna smiled knowingly. "Ashley, I miss the days when we used to compete. From now on, we may be competitors, but we'll always be good friends!"
Pauline clapped her hands. "Wow, a direct challenge!"
Ashley extended her hand, and they shook hands, eyes filled with eager anticipation. "Then let's have a fair competition!"
They both smiled at each other.
Pauline took out her phone and snapped a picture.
Sienna asked, "What are you doing?"
Pauline said, "I'm taking a picture for the memory. In the business world, competition is fierce, and everyone fights tooth and nail for a piece of the pie. If you two ever engage in unfair competition, I'll show you this photo to remind you of how naive you were."
Ashley and Sienna laughed heartily.
Sienna linked arms with Ashley and said, "We're good friends. We can have healthy competition even in the same industry!"
Sienna was ready to return to the design world. With her talent, she would soon gain recognition!
At that time, many people would definitely compare the two of them!
Ashley remembered something and said, "Oh, someone contacted me earlier about a project worth billions of dollars. Let me find his contact information and recommend him to you..."
