Chapter 202 The Yates Group Completely Resolves the Crisis

When Diannel walked in, he saw Ethan and Ashley cuddled up, bathed in warm, orange light. It looked like a painting.

Diannel immediately felt he shouldn't have come in.

Ethan shot him a cold look, and Ashley turned away, blushing.

Ethan asked, "What's up? Did Kelsey back out again?"

"No!" Diannel quickly replied. "Our reputation took a hit, so Kelsey gave us several billion-dollar projects to show sincerity. The employees of the Yates Group are all extremely excited. If you don't come out and calm them down, I'm afraid they're going to go crazy!"

Ethan and Ashley exchanged glances, deep in thought.

Ethan asked, "How many orders?"

"Three!"

Ethan sneered, "How generous of her!"

Ashley, sensing something off, asked, "Ethan, didn't you have a falling out with Kelsey? Why would she give you three billion-dollar projects after a dispute? It seems strange."

Ethan didn't want to trouble her with the details, so he stayed silent.

Diannel, concerned, asked, "What should we do then, Mr. Yates?"

Ethan thought for a moment. "Return those projects. We won't take them."

Three billion dollars—most companies would dream of that. Refusing it seemed crazy, but Diannel complied.

"Alright, I'll have PR issue a statement."

"And those partners who were avoiding us before? Should we work with them now that they've come back?"

Ethan sneered, "Cancel our cooperation with them. Find new partners."

"Understood."

Diannel added, "Mr. James Yates called, asking when you'll return to the country."

Ethan said, "Tell him I won't be returning for now."

"Understood."

After finishing his tasks, Diannel left.

Ashley suggested, "Ethan, maybe I should go back to Aivalia for rehab. The Yates Group needs you."

"No, once you recover, we'll have a grand wedding here in Ferndale," Ethan said. "Ferndale is romantic. Our wedding here will be meaningful."

Ashley smiled, "Alright, I'll leave the wedding plans to you, Honey!"

"Give me a reward," Ethan said, leaning forward like a puppy.

Ashley, shy and amused, kissed his cheek.

Ethan asked, "Ashley, you must be bored at home. Want to go for a walk?"

Ashley replied, "I've been lying down for days. I'm sick of it. Let's go for a walk."

"Alright."

Ethan changed clothes, pushed Ashley's wheelchair, and they strolled in the park. As the sun set, the golden light cast a beautiful glow on them, creating a breathtaking scene!
