Chapter 330 Ethan is a Master Detective
Nora's words totally cornered Yara. Looking embarrassed, Yara said, "Nora, Mommy and Mr. Yates need to talk. Can you go back to your room and rest?"
Nora wanted to chat with Ethan, but seeing Yara's mood, she reluctantly went back to her room.
Ethan glanced at the three of them, his mind already working overtime.
A month ago, Ashley got kidnapped by Jimmy. At the hospital, Ethan secretly asked the doctor to redo the DNA test for Ashley and Liam. But, surprise, surprise, there was also a paternity test report for Ethan and Nora!
Ethan thought hard. Who set up that paternity test for him and Nora?
Ethan closed his eyes, recalling the day it all went down. At the hospital, besides seeing Ashley, Liam, his assistant, and the doctor, he also saw Ivy!
Suddenly, Ethan's eyes snapped open, a knowing look flashing in them. He smirked coldly, his gaze sharp as a knife.
Ethan seemed to have figured out who was behind this!
Yara and Liam didn't notice Ethan's expressions, each lost in their own thoughts.
Yara poured some tea, "Mr. Yates, please have some tea."
Ethan held the teacup but didn't drink. Instead, he absentmindedly traced the rim with his fingers.
Ethan kept thinking.
That day, Ivy might have seen them go for the blood test and decided to mess with the results!
Ethan didn't care why Ivy did it. He just wanted to know why the blood test showed a parent-child relationship between him and Nora!
Ethan's gaze shifted to Liam.
That day, Ashley, Ethan, Liam, and Nora all had their blood tested!
Could it be that Ivy's tampering led to the paternity test report, and among the four of them, one must be Nora's father?
That person was Liam!
Ethan was stunned by his own bold idea. He looked at Yara, who had her head down, showing her swan-like neck. The faint red marks on her collar were clear signs of recent intimacy!
Ethan looked at Liam, further confirming his thoughts!
Suddenly, Ethan stood up.
Yara looked up, puzzled, "Mr. Yates, what's wrong?"
Ethan glared at Liam and said coldly, "Go change your clothes and come with me!"
Liam, overwhelmed by Ethan, forgot he could refuse and went to change his clothes.
Yara, looking panicked, said, "Mr. Yates, I'm really sorry about Nora. Please give me some time. I'll explain everything tomorrow, okay?"
Ethan asked coldly, "Why can't you explain now?"
Yara's eyes flickered, and she glanced at the room Liam had just entered, as if she had something difficult to say.
This hesitant look further solidified Ethan's thoughts!
Yara said apologetically, "I'm sorry. I'll definitely explain everything tomorrow."
Ethan said, "Before nightfall tomorrow, I want a full explanation! Otherwise, you'll face the consequences!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Liam came out of the room.
Ethan ordered, "Take Nora and come with me to the hospital!"
"Now?" Liam was confused.
"Yes!"
Yara, helpless, called Nora. The four of them headed to the hospital.
This time, Ethan chose a hospital under the Yates Group!
To avoid any leaks, they entered through the staff passage and went to the lab for a new blood test and paternity report!
Ethan made a call, "Morgan, get to the hospital ASAP. I need an expedited report!"
Soon, Morgan arrived, panting and puzzled, "What's going on?"
Ethan didn't answer but instead ordered, "From now on, only Morgan can enter and exit this lab. If anyone dares to come near, don't blame me for being harsh!"
This hospital was part of the Yates Group's assets, so Ethan was the boss. The director nodded and bowed, "Mr. Yates, I'll have security guard the door. No one unrelated will be allowed near!"
Ethan nodded in satisfaction, patted Morgan's shoulder, and said, "Please get the report done before nightfall tomorrow!"
Morgan sighed, "You're the boss. If you want the report by nightfall tomorrow, how could I be late! But can you tell me what's going on?"
The other three, Yara, Liam, and Nora, were all shocked by Ethan and didn't say a word, just following his orders.
Listening to his friend's teasing, Ethan smirked mysteriously, "There's a tough battle tomorrow. Whether we win or not depends on when your report comes out!"
