Chapter 575 Together, They Set Out to Find Asclepius
In the private café room, Atticus explained, "Mr. Yates... don't blame Pearl. She's a kind person. The fake marriage license was just to convince my father to take his medication... that's the whole story. We really don't have anything going on. Those online photos are just rumors."
"Darling, Atticus and York are both my family. I can't just stand by and let them suffer. If only I could be an 'Evil Spirit' to heal your father," Ashley said.
"'Evil Spirit'?" Ethan repeated the name, a look of confusion on his face. For some reason, the name sounded familiar.
"She was a doctor, but unfortunately passed away at a young age," Atticus added.
"I see." With the situation clarified, Ethan's hostile gaze towards Atticus softened, but he still couldn't resist constantly asserting his claim over Ashley. He pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Ashley blushed furiously. "What are you doing... in front of others?"
Ethan just grinned mischievously. "I've missed you all day, that's why."
Ashley's face reddened even more. "Stop it."
Atticus watched the scene with a pained heart, forcing a bitter smile as he averted his gaze.
Ethan noticed Atticus's defeated expression and raised an eyebrow.
"Darling, you mentioned a doctor who could help Atticus's father?" Ethan asked.
"Yes, but she passed away," Ashley replied.
"I know a doctor. He's the one whose medicine helped your injury recover so well."
Ashley's eyes lit up. "You mean... Asclepius!"
Atticus looked at them with surprise. "Asclepius? He's also a doctor? Can he save my father?"
"It's worth a try," Ethan suggested.
Atticus's emotions surged. "Do you have his contact information?"
Ethan turned to Ian. "Contact Alan. He should have Asclepius's contact details."
"Right away, Your Highness."
Atticus was taken aback. Despite seeing Ethan as a rival, he hadn't expected this level of help.
"Mr. Yates, thank you," Atticus said gratefully.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The outcome is still uncertain," Ethan responded.
The two exchanged a few polite remarks, then Ethan asked Ashley, "It's late, are you hungry? Shall we order something to eat?"
"I'm not hungry." Ashley began, but her stomach immediately growled in protest.
Ethan looked at her affectionately. "You say you're not hungry, but your stomach is telling a different story."
Ashley blushed. "Let's just go home. You can't eat outside food, can you?"
Ethan pressed the call button for the server. "Since you're already hungry, let's have our meal here."
Soon, the server knocked and entered. "How may I assist you?"
Ethan placed the order, and the server left. Just then, Ian returned.
Ian reported, "Your Highness, Alan doesn't have Asclepius's contact information, but he's met the real Asclepius and knows the location of his research facility. Mr. Grayson could try his luck in finding him there."
Atticus frowned. "But I don't know what Asclepius looks like. Do we have his photo?"
Ian shook his head.
Ethan decided, "Ian, contact Alan and ask him to take us all to the research facility later."
"Understood, Your Highness."
Atticus expressed his gratitude. "Mr. Yates, if Asclepius can truly save my father, I will be forever indebted to him!"
Ethan waved it off nonchalantly. "The food's here. Let's eat, and then we'll go see him."
