Chapter 150 Astonishing Everyone
Ethan had dug up some key info.
Meanwhile, May found more dirt on Felicity for Ashley.
After Ashley woke up from her nap and was about to start drawing with Samantha, May came in.
"Ashley, I've got more info. Want to hear it?"
"Go ahead."
May reported that Felicity had a macho dad and a brother who gambled all the time. Whenever he lost, he'd make Felicity get money, and if she couldn't, he'd beat her.
Ashley felt a pang of sadness.
"Did you find out if Felicity and Ivy were in on it together or if she was forced?" Ashley asked.
"Not yet," May said, "but I got her number. Maybe we can talk to her. If we help her, she might turn on Ivy."
Ashley sighed, "We don't have proof that Ivy and Felicity planned that night together. It's just speculation. We can't rush."
"Let's wait for Ethan to get back and then decide," Ashley added.
"Okay."
"Ashley, let's get back to drawing," Samantha said.
"Alright, you take the pen and follow my lead..."
Ashley instructed while Samantha drew. They made a great team, and May watched from the side.
Meanwhile, at the White Group...
Landon closed a folder and rubbed his temples, looking tired.
A secretary walked in. "Mr. White, I've rescheduled your remaining work for tomorrow. Today is your day to visit your parents. I've already arranged a driver for you."
Landon nodded. "Where's Liam?"
"He's waiting downstairs."
"Okay."
Landon got up and left. Liam waved when he saw him. "Bro, we're seeing Mom and Dad today."
"Let's go."
They got in the car, heading to the treatment center. They passed the hospital where Ashley was staying and hit a red light.
"Landon, I heard Ashley fell out of bed last night and is back in the hospital. We're here; let's check on her," Liam suggested.
Landon hesitated but agreed. "Alright."
Though Landon often spoke harshly, he cared deeply for Ashley. He regretted the hurtful things he said after seeing the DNA report.
Liam was thrilled. "Driver, change direction. We're going to the hospital first."
A bit later...
Landon and Liam bought fruit and flowers. They found Ashley's room and were about to knock when they saw the door was slightly open.
Inside, Ashley was on the bed, and Samantha was drawing a design.
The design caught the White brothers' eyes. Ashley's voice came through. "Samantha, this line is too stiff; it should be softer."
"Where?"
Ashley pointed with her chin. "There."
"Here?"
"Yes!"
"How should I change it?"
Ashley guided, and Samantha made the changes. The design looked even better.
Landon and Liam exchanged amazed glances.
Ethan showed up, puzzled by the silent duo at the door. He walked in to see Ashley guiding Samantha.
After Samantha finished, Ashley nodded in satisfaction. "Well done."
May suggested, "Ashley, Samantha has great potential. Why not take her as your student?"
Samantha looked at Ashley eagerly. "Ashley, please take me as your student. Pretty please~"
The three men outside were stunned.
Especially Ethan, who looked incredulous.
Was the famous designer Elisa actually begging Ashley to take her as an apprentice?
