Chapter 485 Liam Comes to Gold Valley District

Liam said, "I definitely need to go to Gold Valley District, but I want to stop by the hospital to tell Landon first."

"Okay," Yara replied.

Hospital

Samantha lay in her hospital bed, her face and body heavily bandaged. The summer heat made her wounds itch and burn, leaving her irritable and distressed.

"It hurts so much," Samantha groaned in agony.

Landon squeezed her hand tenderly. "Don't worry, Samantha. I've sent someone to Gold Valley District for Asclepius medication. Their treatments are excellent—you'll feel better soon."

Tears streamed down Samantha's face, soaking through the bandages and intensifying her pain.

"Please don't cry," Landon said, his voice hardening with anger. "Who could have imagined that psychopath Felicity would escape during a medical transfer and try to throw boiling water at our daughter!"

Years ago, Landon and Samantha had been involved in a relationship. Before they broke up, Samantha became pregnant, later giving birth to their daughter Juliet White in Kamira. Juliet had since become a well-known child star, with Samantha serving as her manager.

Three years ago, they returned to Aurora for a television show, where Samantha reunited with Landon. After a series of events, the couple rekindled their relationship. Days ago, during their wedding celebration, Felicity had escaped prison and attacked their daughter with scalding water. Samantha had instinctively shielded her daughter, saving Juliet but suffering severe burns across her face and body.

"Have they caught Felicity yet?" Samantha asked weakly.

"She's on the national most-wanted list. They'll have her back behind bars soon," Landon assured her.

"So she's still out there. Please increase security for Juliet—nothing can happen to her."

"I promise she'll be safe. The doctors say your injuries are serious. You need to rest and not talk so much."

Before Samantha could respond, Liam burst into the room, excitement evident in his voice. "Landon! We've found him—Atticus!"

"What?" Landon jumped to his feet. "Are you serious?"

"It's confirmed. Check the news—he's in Gold Valley District running a dairy farm! We should go now. Maybe Ashley is with him!"

Landon nodded eagerly but then glanced back at Samantha. With Felicity still at large, leaving Samantha and Juliet might put them in danger.

Samantha read his hesitation. "Landon, don't worry about me. Go to Gold Valley District and find Ashley."

Landon remained torn between his sister and his wife.

Seeing his dilemma, Liam offered, "I forgot you have pressing matters here. Samantha needs you, and so does Juliet. Let me handle Gold Valley District."

"That's not ideal," Samantha interjected. "I know Gold Valley District—it's vast and sparsely populated. Searching won't be easy. You'll have better chances with more people."

Landon looked at his injured wife, his heart breaking. "Liam, I truly can't leave right now. Please start the search for our sister, and I'll take care of our family here."

Liam nodded. "Consider it done."

Landon's phone rang—their private jet was ready. Without even packing a bag, Liam called Yara before boarding the plane to Gold Valley District.

Soon, the siblings might finally be reunited!

Meanwhile, Ashley's wounds had developed a severe adverse reaction to the new medication. What had been healing properly was now deteriorating and spreading to surrounding tissue, causing her excruciating pain.

"Miss, why is this medicine making things worse?" the maid asked worriedly.

"It... hurts so much..." Ashley could barely speak through the pain.

Suddenly, fragments of memory flashed through her mind. Despite the brief flickers, she recognized medical information and recalled specific medications.

"Wait," Ashley said, fighting through the pain. "Grab a pen and paper. Write down this prescription and take it to the pharmacy."
