Chapter 137: I Think You've Had Enough of Living
Curtis hadn't even seen Jennifer yet, but her enticing scent had already wafted out, making the already excited Curtis tremble with anticipation. He had been waiting for this moment for far too long!
Jennifer, unaware of the second person in the room, walked out with a relaxed expression, drying her hair with a towel.
Soon, she saw Curtis sitting on the bed and was startled. "Curtis! Is that you? What are you doing here!"
Jennifer took two steps back, panic-stricken. Curtis's sudden presence had completely caught her off guard.
Curtis smiled gleefully with a playful expression. "I came to give you a surprise. How about it? Are you surprised?"
Jennifer's expression darkened. Fortunately, she was wearing pajamas that covered her completely; otherwise, this bastard Curtis would have seen everything. She was furious; Curtis's behavior had crossed the line!
"I don't care how you found out I was here. You need to leave right now." Jennifer pointed to the door, her tone hostile.
However, Curtis didn't move. He even lay down on the bed, propping his face with his hand, looking at Jennifer with a wicked grin. "Jennifer, how you don't understand? We were in a relationship, after all. I came all this way to find you; the least you could do is entertain me."
At this moment, Curtis wasn't in a hurry at all. He looked at Jennifer's body with unrestrained eyes, feeling extremely excited inside.
Jennifer felt even more panicked under his gaze. She felt bad and turned to open the door, intending to leave immediately.
Curtis didn't stop her and remained calm.
"Why won't it open!" Jennifer's face changed dramatically. She was horrified to find that the door was locked from the outside, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't open it!
"Curtis, what exactly do you want?"
Jennifer turned back, glaring angrily at Curtis.
Curtis slowly got up from the bed, lit a cigarette unhurriedly, and then walked towards Jennifer. "I don't want anything but to get back what you owe me."
"Nonsense. When did I ever owe you anything?" Jennifer was angry, but more than that, she was panicked.
"Seems like your memory is bad. Do you need me to remind you?" Curtis laughed, then suddenly lunged at Jennifer with a menacing expression, making her scream and retreat in panic.
"Stay away from me!" Jennifer screamed.
Seeing her like this, Curtis felt immensely satisfied and laughed heartily. "Look at you, it's hilarious."
Jennifer bit her lip tightly, glaring at Curtis with extreme disgust. She regretted ever having feelings for Curtis!
Fortunately, she hadn't let Curtis do anything to her back then.
James might be a bit weak, but his character was much better than Curtis's. At least James never forced her to do anything she didn't want to do.
At this moment, she thought of James, but then quickly remembered how drunk he was, and she was furious again.
She took a couple of deep breaths, forcing herself to calm down, and stared at Curtis. "Curtis, I'm warning you not to do anything stupid. James went to make a call and will be back any minute! When he sees you bullying me, he won't let you off."
Jennifer tried to use James to scare Curtis. After all, at the last class reunion, James had humiliated Curtis. Unexpectedly, her words had the opposite effect. Curtis's mouth twitched, and his face turned extremely dark. "You try to use James to scare me?"
He tilted his head, his expression full of mockery and disdain. "Let me tell you this. Terry is my guy. Tonight's dinner was arranged by me. Right now, James is in the next room getting beaten up. By now, he should be a cripple, thanks to Terry and his crew."
"What?" Jennifer's face changed dramatically as she glared at Curtis in a fury. "Tonight's event was your trap? Why are you doing this? Curtis, I've already made it clear to you. I don't love you. It's over between us!"
The more frantic and panicked Jennifer became, the more satisfied and excited Curtis felt. His mindset had become somewhat twisted. He laughed. "Over? Don't say it so easily. I put so much effort into you, and now you say it's over? Jennifer, you think too highly of yourself!"
"Then what do you want?" Jennifer bit her lip tightly, glaring at Curtis.
Curtis tilted his head with a wicked smile. "What I want is simple—it's you. Sleep with me once, and we're even."
Jennifer's face changed dramatically, and she cursed, "Curtis, I never thought you were this kind of person. You really disappoint me! I'm warning you. James knows the police chief, Arnold. You better not do anything stupid, or we'll have you thrown in jail!"
However, Curtis didn't take her seriously at all, thinking Jennifer was just bluffing. "Hahaha, that's hilarious. James, that loser, knows Arnold? Why don't you say he's the president?"
Jennifer retorted angrily, "I'm not lying. James is no longer a loser. If you dare touch me, he'll be furious, and you'll face dire consequences! Curtis, we were friends once. I'm advising you not to make trouble for yourself. Leave now, and I can pretend nothing happened."
Curtis laughed even more gleefully, mocking her, "Wow, you guys are really something. I'm so scared. But you know what, I love making trouble for myself. I want to see what happens when I rape you."
With that, he gave a lecherous smile and lunged at Jennifer.
He couldn't wait any longer. Jennifer was too hot. Every second of waiting was an immense strain on his nerves. His desire had reached its peak, and he couldn't hold back any longer. He wanted to push Jennifer down and violate her violently!
Jennifer was utterly panicked. She dodged Curtis's lunge with a scream, ran to the other side, and threw a teacup at him with all her might. The cup hit Curtis on the forehead, making him cry out in pain.
"You're asking for it! I was going to be gentle, but now, don't blame me for being rough!" Curtis touched his forehead and found it bleeding, which made him even angrier and more excited, fueling his beastly desires.
He no longer held back and lunged at Jennifer with full force.
Jennifer was just a woman, and after a long day, she was exhausted. She couldn't dodge anymore and curled up in a corner, trembling. Tears streamed down her face.
At that moment, she desperately wished James could appear like a knight in shining armor to protect her, just like last time.
But she knew that James was in no position to help; he couldn't possibly show up.
Curtis sneered. "What, not running anymore? Jennifer!"
However, just as he was about to pounce on Jennifer, suddenly, his hair was yanked tightly. Then, a voice full of murderous intent rang out. "Curtis, do you want to die?"
