Chapter 557 You All Come At Me Together.
Arrogance, domineering presence, and an imperious demeanor were vividly displayed in James. This was a drastic change from his previously gentle and refined aura, leaving others struggling to reconcile the sudden transformation.
Clio and the others' pupils contracted sharply, including Rolf, who also showed a look of surprise.
They had never expected James to make such a demand. Although it could establish his authority, it also offended these elite personnel. Even if he managed to subdue them later, they would never truly acknowledge James's identity or respect him. In this way, James would only be doing the job of an instructor without gaining any benefits.
Rolf brought James to the National Security Agency to train these elites and also to recruit James, hoping to create deeper ties between James and the National Security Agency. But with James's actions, Rolf's second intention was almost thwarted.
Rolf admitted he underestimated James.
Sure enough, as soon as James spoke, it ignited the anger of many people. They were furious, clenching their fists.
"Holy crap!"
"This is too much!"
"I've never seen such an arrogant person in my life, this is outrageous!"
"This is ridiculous! He's provoking us, isn't he? Let's all go at him together, meet his demands, and beat him to a pulp to avenge Mr. Loomis!"
"Avenge Mr. Loomis!"
They were consumed with righteous indignation, glaring at James, surrounding him as if they wanted to devour him!
If it were anyone else, they would have been trembling in fear facing such a scene, but James showed no sign of fear. He even had a smile on his face and said mockingly, "Avenge Delbert? Alright, come on, I'll give you the chance."
James took a step forward, extended his right hand, and made a gesture to welcome their attack.
The last fight with Delbert was too boring, a complete crush.
So far, James had not encountered anyone who could truly match him. Even among the fourth-stage martial artists, he had only met Rolf. Other than that, the highest level he encountered was the third stage, which was too tedious.
He knew he wasn't invincible yet, but so far, he hadn't met a worthy opponent, which, in a way, was a form of invincibility.
None of the individuals in front of him were his match, but if they all attacked together, they could still put some pressure on him.
By provoking them, James wanted to show his power and distance himself from the National Security Agency, but he also wanted a good fight to release his inner passion.
These National Security Agency members were all hot-blooded. Knowing that Delbert was killed by James and being provoked like this, they couldn't stand it. Someone immediately stepped forward to challenge James.
"Alright, you want me to beat you up, I'll grant your wish!" A tall man, about 6-foot-5, a second-stage martial artist, stepped forward. His face was rugged, his eyes as big as copper bells, exuding a terrifying aura like a beast.
He was shirtless, with solid muscles like rocks, full of explosive power, intimidating at a glance.
However, James looked at him indifferently, shook his head, and said, "You're too weak, not my match. Better get a few more peers to join you."
The burly man was furious upon hearing this and roared, "Bastard, watch me break your neck!"
He roared and attacked, his large hand with five fingers spread wide, towering over James, aiming to crush his head.
James shook his head disdainfully, not dodging. His left hand remained behind his back, and he punched directly, colliding with the burly man's palm, ready for a head-on clash.
James's punch hit the man's palm with a loud impact, sending the man flying backward, spitting out a mouthful of blood in mid-air, his expression pained. But more than that, he was shocked. He felt like he was hit by a train, with no room for resistance!
"Your strength is too weak, not worth mentioning," James said calmly, not even out of breath, clearly not using much of his power, like teasing a child.
This made the surrounding individuals finally change their expressions drastically.
They had once again underestimated James.
It seemed there was a reason Rolf invited James to be their instructor; James was indeed very strong.
James was too arrogant, too annoying, and he killed Delbert, making him their enemy. Even if Rolf wanted James to be their instructor, they were not convinced! Now with this opportunity, they couldn't let James look down on them.
They were not stupid; they knew they couldn't beat James one-on-one, so they quickly adapted.
"Ronan, Isaiah, Patrick, let's go together, avenge Mr. Loomis, and show him the power of the National Security Agency!" Another second-stage martial artist stepped forward. He wasn't tall, about 5- foot-7, not very strong, but his body contained immense energy, stronger than the previous burly man!
Following him, three more men stepped forward, also second-stage martial artists, with comparable strength.
Judging by their steps, movements, and eye contact, they were clearly a team, very coordinated.
They surrounded James from four directions, signaling that they were ready to begin, and then they commenced their attack.
They were going to gang up on James.
"That makes sense," James showed a satisfied smile. These four together could finally bring him some fun.
That was impossible to defeat James.
Facing their combined attack, James still kept his left hand behind his back, using only his right hand to counter, moving at incredible speed.
Even against four attackers, he was at ease, his martial arts skills astonishing.
Finally, after three minutes, four screams were heard in succession. The four were kicked away by James almost simultaneously, falling to the ground, unable to stand.
James swept the field, "You're too weak, come at me all together."
