Chapter 588 Lisa's Conditions

Neil was indignant; he couldn't accept the impending reality of his defeat at the hands of James.

He gritted his teeth, squeezing out every bit of his strength, fighting back fiercely, trying to regain the upper hand and then defeat James in one fell swoop.

But James was just too powerful, like a machine that never knew fatigue, with an astonishing amount of stamina.

Neil persistently sought flaws, yet he found James to be exceedingly cautious, always a step ahead as if endowed with clairvoyance, perceiving his innermost thoughts and affording him not the slightest opportunity.

With James's strength, beads of sweat began to form on Neil's forehead, and his breath grew uneven. Having been on the offensive constantly, he had expended a great deal of energy, leaving him somewhat exhausted and causing his movements to become increasingly sluggish.

Meanwhile, James still seemed very relaxed. The difference in strength was clear at a glance.

James sighed and shook his head, "I thought you could surprise me, but it turns out you're just another weakling."

With that, James kicked out, hitting Neil square in the chest, sending him flying into the flower bed.

They were all stunned, never expecting that the invincible Neil would not be a match for James.

James dusted off his clothes, smoothing out the wrinkles, and then leisurely walked towards Lisa, "Looks like you bet wrong. Your guardian is no match."

Lisa's eyebrows twitched. She knew Neil wasn't a match for James, but she didn't expect him to be defeated so easily, and it seemed like Neil had no strength to fight back.

Heather, standing to the side, was already dumbfounded, unable to believe that Neil actually lost to James.

At that moment, she felt a deep sense of disillusionment.

Maurice stood in front of Lisa, staring at James, clenching his fists.

James said, "Get out of the way."

Maurice's breathing was rapid, and he yearned to engage James in combat. Even if it meant risking death, he was determined to protect Lisa and preserve his honor.

But under James's cold gaze, he chickened out, lowered his head, and moved aside, not daring to stop James.

A voice in his head echoed, 'It's not my fault, even Neil couldn't beat him. Going against him would be like a mantis trying to stop a car.'

The others were even more afraid to stop James.

In the so-called City of Mysteries, the most powerful and influential figures seemed so weak in front of James.

James walked up to Lisa, lifted her chin, and raised her head, "What a beauty, truly one of the three beauties of the City of Mysteries. No wonder Neil was so infatuated with you, willing to be your guardian."

As James lifted her chin in such a manner, Lisa felt the sting of humiliation and helplessness for the first time.

James' strength was beyond her expectations and beyond what she could bear.

But she still had her pride. The more James acted like this, the more she refused to submit, the more she wanted to conquer James!

"You don't dare to kill me." Lisa tried to keep her expression calm.

"Tell me the reason." At this point, James was in no hurry.

Cynthia and Brenda, the two beauties, stood on either side of Lisa, staring intently at James.

This scene would be hard for any man to resist. These three were the most beautiful women in the City of Mysteries. Getting any one of them would be the luckiest thing in life. But James faced the three of them with indifference, completely unmoved.

They all felt the disdain James harbored towards them, and it made their hearts exceedingly uneasy. Being top-tier beauties, they were accustomed to drawing attention wherever they went and had never been overlooked in such a manner.

Lisa's neck was getting sore from being held up, and her cheeks were starting to hurt. A slight blush appeared on her delicate face, and her breathing became more rapid. The scent of her perfume hit James' face, making him frown slightly and keep a bit of distance.

"If you kill me, you'll never find Jennifer... " She let out a small cry as James pinched her harder.

"You dare to threaten me?" James' eyes were cold, his intimidating presence pressing down on Lisa.

Lisa remained proud, closing her eyes to show James her defiance.

Sensing that the situation was deteriorating, Brenda immediately stepped forward and said to James, "James, I believe there might be a misunderstanding here. From what I know of Lisa, she would never conceal your wife."

However, James completely ignored Brenda. He pressed Lisa against the wall behind her, his left hand gently sliding across Lisa's face. It was smooth, and he had to admit, Lisa was indeed very beautiful, hard not to admire. As a man, James would naturally be attracted to Lisa.

But unfortunately, James already had Jennifer in his heart. His appreciation for Lisa was purely for her beauty, nothing more.

Brenda was furious that James ignored her, thinking James was too insensitive, not even acting like a man.

Cynthia also stepped forward and said, "James, I'm Cynthia. You might not know me, but Lisa is my good friend. With her character, she wouldn't harm your wife. There must be some misunderstanding."

James actually had a good impression of Cynthia. He looked at her and asked, "Is today your birthday?"

"Yes." Cynthia nodded slightly, looking at the ruined garden around her, feeling a bit sad.

James was silent for a moment, then apologized, "Sorry for ruining your birthday today."

Cynthia was stunned, not expecting James to apologize to her. She was a bit flattered and quickly shook her head, "It's okay. It doesn't matter."

After saying that, she blushed a little, wondering why she was so nervous in front of James.

James didn't say anything more. He looked at Lisa again and said, "I'm serious.. You better answer me quickly."

Lisa opened her eyes and suddenly smiled at James, "You want to know Jennifer's whereabouts? Fine, but I have a condition."

James said expressionlessly, "You dare to make conditions with me? Do you really think I won't kill you?"

"Then go ahead and kill me." Lisa straightened her back, looking indifferent.

Her shamelessness really put James in a tight spot. He couldn't quite bring himself to kill her.

Frowning, he said in a deep voice, "Tell me, what's the condition?"

Seeing James relent, Lisa's smile grew even brighter. She said something that shocked everyone. "Sleep with me, and I'll tell you where Jennifer is."
