Chapter 350 Dr. Smith, I Was Wrong!

These five dudes had no clue about Walter's mood. Seeing his gloomy face and gritted teeth, they thought he was just pissed at James.

They crowded around Walter, all smug and trying to butter him up. "Walter, perfect timing, man. We were just about to call you. We caught him," Ivan said.

"Yeah, Walter, he tried to be slick and run, but with the five of us here, no way he was getting away," Keith chimed in.

Ivan added, "This idiot dared to mess with Walter. He's asking for it."

Keith said approvingly, "Exactly. Does he even know who Walter is? How could he think he could mess with Walter?"

"I can't wait to see how Walter's gonna teach him a lesson," Ivan drawled.

They kept mocking, totally clueless that Walter's face was getting darker by the second. James, listening from the side, chuckled. He hadn't meant to embarrass Walter on purpose. It wasn't that he didn't want to offend Walter. In his eyes, someone like Walter wasn't even worth the effort to humiliate. He wasn't that bored.

But now, with these five clowns around, there was no way Walter wasn't gonna be embarrassed.

Seeing the smirk on James's face made Walter feel even worse.

He still couldn't wrap his head around how James was some miracle doctor. Even Edwin and the other doctors held James in such high regard. It was seriously baffling.

To be honest, he didn't really believe James could cure Derek. Derek's illness had been around for years. Despite hitting up numerous top hospitals and so-called famous doctors, he hadn't been cured. Derek's condition had only gotten worse.

Even Edwin and the other doctors couldn't do anything to help now. How could someone as young as James have the ability to cure Derek? It seemed impossible to him.

But for Derek's life, even if there was a slim chance, he had to try. Walter was an annoying hot head. But he was very filial to Derek. That might be his greatest virtue.

"Walter, we meet again." James knew exactly what Walter was thinking. He ambled up, smiling as he spoke.

Seeing the mocking smile on James's face, Walter felt extremely uncomfortable. His face turned red. He wanted to speak but didn't know what to say.

They saw James still daring to speak without any fear and thought he was too arrogant. To show off in front of Walter, they all stepped forward, eagerly mocking James. Their words didn't affect James at all, but they made Walter feel extremely humiliated and angry.

"Shut up," Walter couldn't help but shout, his face full of anger.

"Did you hear that? Walter told you to shut up. Now kneel and beg for Walter's forgiveness," Ivan shouted.

"Ouch. Who kicked me?" Ivan yelled. It was Ivan who spoke, smugly. Before he could finish, Walter kicked him hard in the butt, making him stumble and fall to the ground. The other four were confused, not expecting Walter to kick Ivan.

"I told you to shut up. Are you deaf?" Walter yelled, fuming.

Ivan turned around, seeing that it was Walter who kicked him and scolded him so harshly. He was utterly confused

"Walter," Ivan felt very wronged but didn't dare to speak out.

Walter gritted his teeth and shouted, "Get lost. All of you, get lost."

He chased after the other four, venting his anger on them. Two of them got kicked by Walter. They were extremely confused and felt wronged, thinking Walter might be crazy. Wasn't he supposed to beat up James? Why was he beating them instead?

"Walter, we helped you catch him. Why are you hitting us?"

"Yeah, why?" they asked together. They felt wronged but didn't dare to show it too much.

Walter, breathing heavily and gritting his teeth, glared at them and shouted, "If you don't want to die, get lost."

They were startled by Walter's fierce expression. It was clear that Walter was really angry. If they didn't leave, they might really get beaten up. They felt very upset but didn't dare to show it. After all, Walter's status was much higher than theirs. Even if the five of them combined, they couldn't match the Jenkins family. So they had to endure it.

But just as they were about to leave, James spoke up, smiling, "Why should they leave? It's good for them to stay."

James suddenly found it quite amusing to watch these people argue. Hearing James's words, Walter's pupils contracted, his teeth gritting with anger. He cleared that James was deliberately trying to embarrass him.

He was very angry, annoyed, and scared. There was nothing he could do. Now, James was the only one who could save Derek. He didn't dare to offend James.

The five were about to leave, stopping when they heard James. They started to sense that something was wrong.

James continued, "Walter, I'll give you ten seconds to organize your thoughts. Once you've figured it out, talk to me properly." With a faint smile on his face, he sat on a stone bench, quietly sipping his coffee.

Walter lowered his head. His fists clenched tightly with red face. breathing heavily and his chest heaving violently.

He was like a volcano about to erupt, making those five people stay far away. Only James kept a smile on his face, looking at Walter with a meaningful gaze.

As time passed, James started counting down, "You don't have much time left. It seems that in your mind, your pride is more important than Derek's life." James said pointedly as he got to his feet, shook his head, and then walked past Walter.

Hearing James's words, Walter was shocked. His eyes turned red, and he gritted his teeth. Finally, he couldn't hold back and said, "Dr. Smith, I'm sorry. Please save my grandfather."
